Was going to go to GBP, very close to my hotel, but cabbie mentioned Casa Theresa. Not a bad place, don't let the chicas order liquor (500RD).

Some 6's and 7's, but nice 6's and 7's, ya know. They don't bug you, just hang around, till you choose. I chose wrong. If you hear the name Sasha, cute thing, not a big ass, and big tits, look elsewhere.

More to follow.

Yeah, got the Royal Suite at BQ. Like the place a lot, has a rooftop pool that has a little nightlife vibe at night.Should be chicas on Avenida Sarasota near hotel bq and also chicas on the side street for el embajador hotel. From hotel bq, a-1 divas, venus de milo and el penthouse will be closer. Casa Azul is a low key place two minutes from casa theresa.

And what is GBP?I posted info about GBP, two pages ago, see post 2975 in this thread. BQ Ribs has posted photos of the outside of GBP. Really small place, looks like it is owned and operated by women, so no middle man per se, to raise the price. Very basic place, but the chicas are usually friendly and energetic.

Gran Paradise Center was formerly known as Dreams House. I believe the name change was because there was another place with the same name. The place is on a development process. To the services they actually provide (a variety of massages up to full massage) they are going to add free internet for customers, they have 10 rooms that are in a process to be converted in themed rooms. The pool area is going to be converted in a clubhouse with restaurant where you can swim with naked girls. There is going to be a billiard room and a dance area. Near two dozen girls are going to be hired to join the actual personnel. The bar area in on a third level terrace. Their concept is one of where you can relax and have fun. Yani is a girl that works there and also I believe is in or shares management of the place. She is a nice woman and has received good comments in this forum by other members.

You can see exact location on my map, the place is 10 minutes from airport on Ave. Las Americas, Urb. Luz Maria, Central St. so is a good place for a first stop before hitting the city. From city is only a 15 minute ride. The place is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

I finally registered to join your group but have been reading it for the last few months. I want to thank you all for excellent info. I actually was at Gym Bar yesterday afternoon 3PM lunch time fun. I had Milka la dura and Paola. Yes I saw the Asian looking one and will be back to try her. However I guess cause of the time I paid 1500 for 2 1 hour.

I think I know Paola, can you describe her.

She was the first one I saw when I walked in she is about 5ft 3-4 in heels they where them big she was 59 I am 511. In this country she would be your white 23-25 year old decent hair with a touch of olive skin. They would say I am your typical black cuban american loving DR. In the US she would be light light brown good hair played the quiet non agressive role while Milka was doing her 1K per minute thing and loved being going down by Milka. And she used the clinical before penetration lube I did Milka first. I enjoyed her a good DR thin lay.

Please to meet you. Did not taste you though.

Thank you

Taxi guys from airport are going to charge 35-40 dollars. If you have a local phone you can call Apolo taxi, they are going to charge the equivalent of $28.
If you are a experienced traveler and have made contacts you are going to pay $20.

Go upstairs and discretely ask a cab that just dropped off a fare if they'll take $20 to Gazcue. they're not supposed to but will do it if no one is watching.

If you come from the airport the driver always use the Las Americas highway which is the seafront highway. Tell the driver to make a right on the street that leads to the horse race track and make a right again, the house is on a corner of the third street after the second right. Nobody has made a full review before but some people commented on visiting the place and having a good time. I plan to visit the place on my next trip.

Prices depends on the service you choose, from several classified ads I read services prices are from 1000 to 2000 pesos.

There is also a car race track off of Las Americas highway. Getting off of Las Americas and onto the service lane, is not the easiest. Las Americas highway does not have many exits where you can get off, to get on the service road.

From the airport, a guy could ask to go to the "hipodromo" and then follow the directions that you give for the massage place. Thanks for the directions.

A guy coming from the airport could also stop at the place you and Buscemi mentioned that is north of the ramp that puts you onto Las Americas highway from the airport.

There is another place on the service road, place has a large painting of a woman's silhouette on the outside front wall.

Another place closer to Avenue Charles de Gaul also supposedly on the service road is Ejecutivo. I have not found Ejecutivo yet.

between sdq and sd you only have one exit where you can get onto the service road. between sd and sdq there are two exits for the service road.

coming from the airport the exit for the service road is the first right after the toll plaza. i take this route a lot instead of the highway when going to sd. there are a lot of places to stop for a cold one or grab a bite to eat. if you stay on the service road all the way to the end you will enter back onto the highway about 500 yards before the exit for avenida espana/charles de gaulle.

going to the airport you can get onto the service road where avenida espana meets las americas. instead of staying to the right for las americas go left. follow the sign for tunnel marginal (sp). the other entrance for the service road is about two thirds of the way to the airport on las americas. there is an exit sign for samana which will put you onto the service road.

the service road has three lanes, two east, maybe two west, maybe all three east,,,,,,,,,,, or any combination there of, typical dr driving. plenty of potholes and a few speed bumps so be careful.

I would imagine that there is a gua gua that goes to the horse racing track, to take the guys who like to bet on the ponies. The massage place is close to the horse racing track, from what I have read, you could probably walk to the massage place from the horse track. If you take a taxi, "quiero un casa (or centro) de masaje cerca de hipodromo". "Nombre de esta lugar es Gran Paradise Center (centro de masaje gran paradiso). I am not sure if the name of the place is in English or Spanish or both.

Many times places away from the big tourist hotels (like gazcue), the prices are usually less.

If you are in SD centro you will have to ask around for which guagua to take. If you speak fluent Spanish and don't mind going to the barrio with the tigueres there should be no problem. I am in that area often but I have a car rental and know my way around. Urb. Luz Maria is a cement block tin roof shack area, and I don't mean that in a negative way. Some guys prefer the comfort zone of SD.

I would suggest taking a cab your first visit. By the time you mess around with the guagua and asking directions you will be glad you did. Trust me on this one.

Is it my imagination, or is the Conde a terrible place for finding quality girls?

I remember reading that the Conde was terrific. Lots of available girls, all shopping for shoes and men willing to buy the shoes for them.

In truth, I have been visiting the DR about 5 years. The number of available P4P women on the Conde has always been few, and I have never met a real "non-pro" there (I have had quite a few non-pros in the DR in the same period of time).

There must be a better place to hang out if one is looking for easy nearby sex. I am not a fan of the casas, but until I learn of the best hang out, I guess I will stick to the casas and the girls I meet online.

You are 100% correct. I don't know where the info came from that El Conde was excellent hunting ground. It is NOT your imagination. You can sit at Pacos (Grands) Restaurant and a few chicas may show up but more than likely they won't be top shelf. There is a lot of eye candy to look at but they are on El Conde shopping, no more. Sure you might get lucky once in awhile but El Conde is not on the must do list for chicas.

I am like you I don't really like the casa scene. Other than the casas I don't know a single bar to go have a Presidente and have a good chance of meeting P4P. Sosua has the chica bar scene and even Boca Chica has a better bar scene than SD.

If you find a place please, please, please post...........

In spite of the lack of puta bars SD is still my favorite city in rep dom.

There is a shopping area on Duarte, that chicas have told me, has many stores with good prices.

Acropolis Mall and the bars there, had many cute non-pro chicas. Some bars in Naco might be good.

Sambra is supposedly a good bar.

Lincoln Road on Avenida Lincoln looks like a nice place. There are chicas in coppa discoteca in hotel melia every night, pros and non-pros. Bar Atarazana in zona colonial gets packed Thursday nights for open bar.

I have not hung out at night on Avenida Venezuela, seems like a good place to meet non-pro chicas. Mega Centro Mall could be another option.

There was a time when I stayed 3 consecutive times at El Conde because it was easy for me to get girls there. Just a walk from Mercure to Pacos and back to el Conde de Penalba was enough to get one chica. I once got a chica that was exiting a room adjacent to mine and another on Mercure lobby bar. Now I walk down and back and then again up and down el Conde and I do not find a chica but at least I lose 5 pounds of weight. You still find chicas but not as frequent and not the quality you can find a few years ago.

A local monger has recommended the following places as locations where you can take girls that work there for $: Mambo Bar, Rumba Bar, Mamaya, XO, Osema, La Base, El Tronco, and Eagle Sport bar.

Good places IMHO are good to meet non pros are El Hangar, Teleofertas, Venezuela Ave.

I keep hearing about this place, but I haven't read any details. It sounds pretty upscale. Any comments?I went one night to El Penthouse. I was at a place on Avenida Privada, that was a half block north of Avenida 27 de Febrero, that place later moved to Ave. Nunez de Caceres (A-1 Divas). At the place on Ave. Privada, I met a 50 year old American Dominican guy and he showed me where El Penthouse was located (I later showed him where GBP was located).

Going west on Avenida 27 de Febrero after Avenida Privada, the next cross street (I have the business card of El Penthouse, so I will check for the street address, it is the first or second street after Avenida Privada), you make a right and about a 1/4 of a block north of Avenida 27 de Febrero, on the left you will see a parking area for an apartment building. Park your car there and walk to north west corner of the parking area and enter the apartment building and walk up about 4 flights of stairs (the stairs are open with openings to the outside). There is a bar type area on the fourth floor, that had no people, enter that place and you will see a set of stairs that will take you to the roof of the building. On the roof there are about 6-7 tables, a large brick BBQ, a small pool and a bar, this is El Penthouse.

I sat at a table and there were about 7 chicas on the roof. One at a time the chicas got up from where they were sitting and came over to my table and introduced themselves to me and then returned to were they were sitting. Good selection of chicas, tall ones, busty ones, shortys. I chatted with the Dominican manager guy of the place, he was about 40 years old. Seems like they run a professional place. I believe they have rooms on site. I don't recall recall the exact price, 2500 pesos or a little more. I didn't sample any chicas, because I had to return to the place on Avenida Privada, where a friend had chosen a chica for a session.

While the girls at Eagle and La Base are available, it is not point and click. You have to build a repoire and then they might go with you. Last time at Eagle, the hottest chica there spent all her time servicing an older Dominican (may be 65 yrs old). She brought him his drinks stayed and talked to him and danced for him. These girls are looking for someone to help them fianancially, not to pick up a couple thousand pesos for a one night stand.

I am friends with one waiter there and he tells me which chicas are pros. A small bottle of presidente beer is 200 pesos in Coppa. It is loud in there and not the easiest place to chat up chicas. But if you go there, get a spot near the bar, towards the right when you enter from the casino. Seems pro chicas who are alone like to stand around near that area. Getting a table with chairs, you usually have to buy a bottle of liquor (over 100 dollars).

It is not like classicos in Sosua.

Mint in hotel napolitano gets packed some nights and some pros wander into mint.

Atarazana bar in zona colonial sometimes has pros that hang out there. Again some of the chicas there, look like normal chicas. I was there one night when two Older American guys, one black and the other white, they were in business clothes, suit and tie, hooked up with these two big chested light skin dominican chicas.

Tell me more. Out of all my trips to SD I haven't been to either one of these. What makes them so special?
This is from a personal stand point. Both places where a little more private and I think that's more to my liking. I just felt comfortable in the environment of each spot.

Club MC was more like a one bedroom apt. with 10-12 girls, I don't remember what most of them looked like but it was only me and my buddy so we grabbed the two stood out to us to most. Graciela and Cindy their names were, and not one time did we feel rushed, or pressured. We had drinks, took our time, made our decision, and after our first session we stayed and relaxed until we decided to go.

Casa de Modelos the same but it was a bigger and better spot with the bedrooms upstairs. Nice sitting area, with couches and tables with high stools if you wanted to sit and have a couple drinks before you make a decision. I think they had some very attractive girls and I'm picky, plus a procrastinating azz dude but I seen a couple that I wanted as soon as they lined up! We were in there for like 2hrs. Had some drinks, relaxed, sessioned, and then repeated the same routine with cigars breaks in between. This also had a more personal vibe, and I never felt rushed while in the room with a girl, or never felt pressured to buy a drink or make a decision selecting a girl. I like that a lot, plus they had a nice selection.

I never been to GBP or El Penthouse so I definitely want to try those, but Baby Dolls, & Foxy's are not for me, those chics are bold! LOL! YOU BUY ME DRINK? YOU TIP FOR ME? WE NO FUKKIN? LOL!

I went to 305 kinda early and had to go in from the back so it was only like 3 girls up, and the rest were still sleep, so I'll try them again also.

In closing, I also wanna say I never paid over $2500 pesos at either spot (the same price most girls are asking for in Sosua) and I'm really feeling Modelos right now until something better appeals to me.

P4P in SD is low key. Most chica pick ups are behind closed doors except at night when the chicas hit the streets. There isn't a bar I know of where someone walking down the street would know this is a pick up spot, and I am not talking about casas. A place like the Piano Bar in Boca Chica or even a 4 Roses bar like in Sosua would be nice. IMO I don't think the government wants places like this in SD, open air puta bar.

IMHO, the waitstaff at La Base were 6-7 for the best of the bunch, at Eagle most were 8-9. They were definitely high maintenance but if I lived there, I'd take a shot. Then again, there are so many chicas that are novia material.2 minutes from Eagle Sports Bar there are about 8 cabanas. There were about 6-7 waitresses the last time I was at Eagle. They were wearing very small uniforms, you could see at least 50% of their ass cheeks. Some of the waitresses were tall, with healthy legs and backsides. Only one waitress gave me a semi smile, when she asked to borrow my lighter for another client. The place has an inside bar with tables and there is an outdoor area with at least 20 tables and chairs. I was there on a Sunday to watch American football, around 4pm, there were maybe 10 other clients there. A merengue tipico band started to play and the music was loud.

Hooking up with one the waitresses there, appears a guy would have to work it. Ask a waitress for her cell phone number and try to meet her when she is off from working.

Le Base is closer to Zona Colonial (about 10 minutes), I never hung out there. Eagle Sports Bar is about a 20 minute drive from Zona Colonial. Eagle Sports Bar is in Santo Domingo Este (zona oriental). There is not much else happening around Eagle Sports bar. Near Le Base there are other bars and people walk along Avenida espana.

I am not sure how long they have been there but at SDQ there are two places you can buy or rent GPS equipment. One on the arrival level and one on the departure level near the escalator.

Coppa just about always has some pros. The corner bar in the casino at the Jaragua Hotel just about always has a few pros. Piano Bar in Boca Chica, I don't know the place.
Piano Bar used to be called Ruta 66 and there was an old gasoline pump in front.

I want to see a nice puta bar in SD where you can stroll in with jeans, sneakers, and a T-shirt. That's what I like............

Coppa, Jaragua, and Mint too prim and proper for me. Plus them chicas cost too much. I am happier drinking at the colmado across from Navarro Hotel. Chicas come and go there all day long, 1500 pesos +/-.

Pic is old gas pump in fron of Ruta 66.

NO, and have GPS on my phone. It works on both my T-Mobile service and Clairo sim. I traded my iphone in for a HTC HD2 and had way better luck internationally. I have a app called footprints that takes a pic and saves the GPS coordinates that you can upload to Google.

Ill have to snaps some picks next week. Ask any hustler on the corner of the abandoned lot and they will be glad to direct you or give you a card. They get a couple pesos from the casa and what ever you think they deserve....Had a nice litte peurto rican with tight phat ass booty that drained every ounce of me, literally. Wound up sitting on the wall with the hustlers and shoe shine kids drinking a Presidente to recover. Matter of fact the tall shoe shine kid with the bad eye showed it to me. The name of the bar is definitly the Piano bar.

But I must agree that Casa Modelos and 305 have the best "CONSISTANT" quality in Santo/Boca area....

56 Avenida Pasteur?

Usually the same guys and same shoe shine kids on Pasteur between the Malecon and Idependencia. Same two guys who work in the small colmado near Mystik Hotel. In the daytime people come to get large plastic containers for water, filled up at the place that is run by Villar Hernanos restaurant.

I have seen one shoe shine kid, grow and grow. He was a little kid when I first saw him, now he is almost as tall as me. Another shoe shine kid with the limp, told me he lives in los guandules, supposedly the worst barrio in Santo Domingo. Those shoeshine kids are outside Coppa Discoteca till very late in the night.

I have never had any problems with any of the shoeshine kids or the guys who hang around on Pasteur.

I have not had any issues with them either. Just the low life that prays on them. They are good kids just born in poverty. There is one of them that is like 14 but 4-10. Kid is smart as a whip. I messed with him with a paper napkin. Drew a triangle and worked the pathag.. . HE GOT IT! Took the same differential change reference and drew up the basic SML finance equation HE GOt IT! Only thing I could think of was "what a waste of talent." He will be running that ave in a couple of years you can bet on it. He should be helping run the country.

That's my spot. The colmado across from my hotel La Casona Dorada. I was just there for 6 days and going back less then one month later lol, May 19-23. I always get started at the colmado. Every trip I bring 2 duffle bags filled with sandels, t-shirts and baseball hats. I give them to the shoe shine boys, to my hotel staff, and people at the colmado. I bring clothes for my tour guide and friend Santo and for my novia. All cheap stuff but they love it. I am well liked at the colmado, last trip I spent about $100 at night there just getting drunk and buying people stuff. I did very well betting sports at 5 star. I crushed the NBA during my trip. What's better than going on vacation and coming back with more money than you left with.

I was mostly with my novia. Bq Ribs you are right. The more you go the less it is about the number of girls and more about finding what you like. I still was with some of the SW at the colmado. They ask me for sex all day so after I get to drinking I usually give in. 1500

And Bq, I called you on that Sunday and got a message in spanish. I tried to leave a message, hope you got it.

I sat at the colmado sipping Brugal and Presidentes. I finally gave into one of the quieter chicas sitting there. A little over an hour later I was very pleased I did. $RD1500 was the chica tab.

......And Bq, I called you on that Sunday and got a message in spanish. I tried to leave a message, hope you got it.I was in the campo in Bonao that Sunday. The phone answering message is set up by Orange. I don't speak Spanish so I have no idea how to change the message or retrieve voice mail. Text messages are no problem.

Wow, you going back quick. You will miss Anthony Santos at La Base on May 28.

I didn't get a chance last trip but maybe you can check out the bowling alley with your lady friend. Another good thing to do during the day is take a chica to the mall, Plaza Central. It is a real inexpensive date. Do some window shopping and have lunch. There are two other malls in SD centro but a little more upscale and most chicas you and I meet will feel out of place. Remember how you pleased her with the baseball game?.......... LOL

All 3 hotels are not Chica friendly. The Hilton will charge you an extra $25 approx, ro bring in a chica. They will charge you each night she is there unless you find someone and check in with her. The other 2 require you to check in with the chica. Have stayed at all 3. I go t the Courtyard which is 5 minutes from the Malceon. There is a college a block away. Very safe area.

Manizales gave a guy who works at the Melia about 500 pesos so he could bring in a chica. Some working girls know people who work at the Jaragua and therefore some of them get into the Jaragua. Overall, I would not recommend staying at Melia, Jaragua or Hilton, if a guy wants to have sex in his room with working girls.

Boricua Online has said Hotel Napolitano is chica friendly, it is on the Malecon about 6 blocks east of the Melia. Mercure Hotel, Hotel de Penalba, Hotel Palacio are chica friendly hotels in Zona Colonial.

If the guy wanted to be close to the action and stay in Jaragua or Melia, he could rent a second room in a hotel like the Navarro (about 1500 pesos per night) and use that second room for his special time with the chicas. Hotel Navarro is in the middle of the action, added bonus is that some of the chicas who work at Foxys live in the Navarro. Navarro is about three blocks from the Melia and about 4 blocks from the Jaragua.

me, i prefer to not [CodeWord116] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord116) in my own back yard.

you can get the jaragua garden rooms for as low as $65 bucks/night. you can use the local promotion rate on the mariott website when booking.

you can also get a room at the hotel riazor, a 2 minute walk away for about $65 /night as well.

that way you get to sleep in a 5 star hotel, relax at a 5 star pool, play at the casino, etc etc. and when it comes to play, bang at the riazor (which is chica friendly), have a late night meal at their restaurant for cheap, and walk back to your room and sleep.

They're very old and need renovating. The plumbing was jacked up, and the a/c was spotty. All for about $93 a night. Granted, this was shortly after the earthquake in Haiti. And it was hard to find a cheap room in SD with all of the relief effort workers in town.

I like the Apartahotel Roma. The rooms are decent and clean with a/c, and the water was very hot. And it's on to the Conde. Not a fabulous hotel. But a great deal for $45USD (they only accept cash).

jaragua is a 3 star hotel as shown on their website. the cheapest weekend rate is $88 plus tax which would be $110.88. now on top of this you think it is wise to also rent a $65 room at riazor. $175 a night for hotel rooms? if you have cash flow like that good for you. i know i don't.

if you are going to post a special hotel rate it would be nice to state whether it is with or without taxes and a link.

Gardens AND Tower (no ocean view) do start at 89.00 but if paid via visa the third night was free with march promotion now ended. Watch out for the mold and buffet at $21 dollars per person. Truly 3 star but one of the better hotels. Hilton barely better because its newer.

Jaragua now Hilton are always homebase (Secure spot for Valuables & Rally point for Group) with Mystik/Riazor @ 200dp/$55.00 daily or cabin & Mystik @ 800dp/$23 for 2 hours of play. Some of the cabins are amazing. Any casa can direct you to a cabin. Only thing I take to the Mystik/Cabin is Oakley shoulder strap containing toiletries, spare shirt & boxers , Henesey XO and Rubbers. Total Lodging comes to about 180ish (max) daily which [Based on my pocket and economic means] is inordinately reasonable for what and how I handle things. But if you going to be there over a week its drastically cheaper to pay someone's monthly rent and leave the apartment vacant for the remainder of the month. I called a real estate agent and I still am sifting through properties.

Like was said before, Guest may accompany you at the Jaragua and Hilton if she does not overtly look like a Puta and you registered a chica. But I learned; never, never , ever take any chica back to da home location. It never ever ends well. NEVER! Sets up expectations and makes you to easily cornered. Before the less Game-less start; trust starts at the door and when she realizes their remains a layer of defense up, it separates out the less desirable ones and sets them to their current purpose.

I always get a kick at how grown men tell other grown men "what they should like in a woman physically/Sexually" and "how to spend their money" especially when they are sleeping with things I would not touch and broke as hell. SMDH!

Enjoy Gran Paradise Center while you can (I intend to when I get back down) They wont be open long doing things like Orgies on premises. Patently against Presidential Policy, Law and local ordinance.

Therefore, the room is actually 62.00 before IBIT etc.. or $75.. But Watch out for Mold and the breakfast buffet at $21 per person.............
I have stayed in the Garden and Tower in the past. Just my two pesos but the Garden is NOT worth it. The Tower section was nice and the price did include the buffet breakfast. I am in SD quite often so I tend to look for the $55 a night rooms. I prefer the smaller hotels. Easy in, easy out and most of the smaller hotels you don't have a problem bringing back two chicas.

Once in awhile I will hit cabana row on 30 de mayo. It is best to take a cab to keep from dealing with the PN if you plan on drinking.

Everyone has their own thing. No one thing or method is right. It all depends on what rocks your boat. Some guys like two trips a year and live high on the hog while others like me prefer ten trips a year and cut corners here and there.

IMHO Jaragua should make the Garden section guest friendly especially with the new entrance to the casino open.

Autopista 30 de Mayo is what the Malecon becomes. The first cabana you hit when heading west from the Hilton is Princess Cabana (freezing cold air conditioning, murder scene in one of the rooms there, some young gay guy murdered a gay Dominican TV Producer there). After five minutes continuing west, you will enter Ciudad de Amor, at least 8 cabanas, on both sides of the road. La Pirata is a good restaurant near there, romantic place, with tables under palm leaved roofs overlooking the water.

The night I used Princessa Cabana it was a Saturday night, I got there around 3am, there was only one open garage door, all the other rooms were occupied. Some old 1950's era slow Spanish music was blasting in the room. I was drunk (the chica I was with had me try all of the drinks she ordered in Coppa). Took me a while to figure out how to change the music. Had sex, fell asleep and woke up freezing, there were only sheets on the bed, windows didn't open. I got dressed and checked out to escape the cold. Drove by Hotel Melia and Coppa Discoteca around 6am and I saw some people there. Drove the chica home to Zona Oriental and then drove to Juan Dolio.

The new entrance for the casino at the Jaragua will decrease some pedestrian traffic near the lobby, but many of the chicas enter the Jaragua, through the back entrance near Avenida Independencia. I would guess those chicas would still walk past the lobby to get into the casino.

What they should do is make the new entrance go into a new discoteca to compete with coppa. Convert that corner bar in the casino into a disco. Years ago the Jaragua had a discoteca, I have not seen that disco open in a long time.

Coppa is about the only late night place where you can get a drink and check out eye candy. Mint gets packed some nights, but I have been in Miint where I was the only customer.

I cant remember which one it was (Drunk Ass Hell and need to find it again) but I drunk about 5000dp/$135 worth of shots n drinks in like one hour ... There is a bar in a private home in Zona Colonial, that stays open till whenever. Nice house, with lots of artwork. 40 year old Dominican lady was the bartender, the night I was there. The night I was there, people from Spain were drinking and smoking cigars inside, the guys had tuxedos on. I stayed there till about 6am, had many shots of tequila. I walked from there, back to the apartment on the malecon, walking past the morning traffic. Taxi drivers should know where that place is.

Nice photo, thanks. I will stop in that place this month. I have been told Zambra is good bar/disco. Not sure where it is located in Santo Domingo.

Zambra is on Roberto Pastoriza 313, Plaza Uris, it has a pin in the map. I visited the place a year ago, a favorite among latin foreign students and local mid to high class. The place is nice, 99% of the girls there were pretty. They close by 3:00- 4:00 a.m.

Way too many steps for me to walk up and down every day and at night that area is dead.LOL! Yup, you're right. They could definitely use an elevator. I guess it never bothered me because I'm in fairly decent shape, and there aren't really that many floors in that hotel.

I like the Conde during the day and early evenings. And I'm always taking a taxi back and forth at night. So the fact that it's empty then doesn't really concern me. I kinda prefer the peace and quiet (though the noise level does crank up quite a notch around 8am).

All in all, I still think that the Apartahotel Roma is a good deal for the price. And I'm generally pretty particular about where I stay.

I visited casa de modelas one night around 4am, they wouldn't let me in, they said I could choose a chica while standing outside, while looking through a window into the living room, where the chicas were lined up. Casa Azul stays open late and is a place where I didn't get rushed or hassled to choose a chica. Casa Theresa late at night, let me in for one beer and said I had to choose a chica within 10 minutes. Casa 305 was tranquil at 4am, no rush and no hassle, when I stopped there for a beer.

On vacation, sometimes I like to drink and stay out late.

Would be nice if coppa had some competition, for the late night crowd or if they got rid of the curfew. Santo Domingo had small bars where you could get drinks till 7am, before the curfew.

Finally putting my boots on the ground in Santo Domingo after a five year absence. I have narrowed my hotels down to Marriott Courtyard and The Palacio. Before I flip a coin, I ask opinions from the experts.

ThanksI checked the prices of Courtyard by Marriot last week on their webpage, after taxes were included it was about $200 per night for their hotel on Avenida Maximo Gomez in SDQ. At the Hotel Palacio if you a book a room for only one person it is about $85 per night, if you book for two people it usually comes out to about $100 per night, taxes included. I have only seen the Courtyard from the outside, looks like a nice hotel. Courtyard is on a busy street, Maximo Gomez. There is a University near to the Courtyard. There is some heavy traffic on Avenida Maximo Gomez during rush hour.

Palacio Hotel is about 100 feet off of El Conde, a pedestrian street in Zona Colonial. Hotel Palacio is about one block from Mercure Hotel and two blocks from Hotel De Penalbe. The Cathedral and the Hard Rock Cafe are three blocks away from the Palacio.

Late at night there will not be much happening on Maximo Gomez. I never saw any working girls on Ave. Maximo Gomez. If you stay at the Courtyard most likely you will have to take a taxi to find the chicas.

Zona Colonial is busy throughout the day with people walking on El Conde. Late at night the streets in Zona Colonial are empty. From the Hotel Palacio there are bars and restaurants within walking distance (bar 360 in zona coloial has working girls).

Hotel Palacio is the former home of an Ex President of the Dominican Republic, from over 100 years ago. My last stay there, I met the owner, a nice older German guy named George. The manager of Hotel Palacio is also a German guy.

Hotel Palacio has two elevators, a small pool on the 4th floor, an inside courtyard with plants. I have stayed in about 5 different rooms at the Palacio. Each room is different. Some rooms have high ceilings with old 6x6 cross beams. Old brickwork throughout the hotel. Palacio gives you a white plastic room key card, no magnetic strip on the key card, you flash the card near the door latch mechanism and the door unlocks for your room.

Any chicas you bring with you to the hotel palacio will have to have their cedula or a copy of their cedula. The workers at the front desk will make a copy.

Hotel Palacio is on calle duarte, about 100 feet from El Conde (pedestrian only street). On the corner of duarte and el conde there is la dispensa supermarket, which sells beer, soda and other food products cheap. On the other corner is the store called California, which sells clothes and toiletries (shampoo, shaving cream etc) and inside the store California there is an ATM machine. Also located on El Conde near hotel palacio is a Claro call center and Claro store.

Last time I stayed at Palacio, breakfast was included and they have free coffee throughout the day in the lobby. Around the corner from Palacio is a small old coffee shop called la cafetera, that sells espresso, cappuccino and American style coffee, to drink there or to go. They also prepare sandwiches and fresh fruit juices.

When I stay at the Palacio, I usually walk over to Hard Rock Cafe and sit outside and drink a few beers. Hard Rock is located in front of a Park that is in front of the alleged oldest cathedral in the New World (I have been told that there is a smaller, older church in Santo Domingo).

Courtyard is a modern style hotel, probably very similar to the Courtyard Hotels they have in other countries. Palacio is mostly an older building, but has some modern touches. Air Conditioning worked good in Palacio. I have left my electronics out on my bed when I was not in the room, the maids came in and changed the sheets and nothing ever went missing at the Palacio. Palacio has a small indoor garage if you have a car.

I have not stayed at the Courtyard, but 200 dollars per night is more than I want to spend. Weekend rates at many of the bigger hotels in SDQ are usually cheaper. Coupon codes exist for some travel sites, that can save you some money. Just remember, there is a 26% tax for some hotels and some restaurants.

If you want to walk around and see old stuff, cathedral or museums, then zona colonial is the choice. Zona Colonial also has bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel palacio. Hotel Palacio has free wifi.

If you want a modern style hotel on a busy street then the Courtyard would be your choice.

At night from either location you will have to take a taxi or drive your car to find chicas. Pacos cafe on El Conde, has some working girls and it is within walking distance of hotel palacio, but I never saw any great gems hanging out at Pacos. You could walk to bar 360 from the hotel palacio, if it is late at night and the door is locked, ring the bell.

Any questions just ask.

Your tourist visa will allow you to drive in the DR up to 90 days. You will need a drivers license to rent the vehicle. I recommend only carrying photocopies of you drivers lic. and passport when you are on the road. Also, get all of the insurance.

Hi Jaosousa - How's the pool and view from the top of the Palacio? Also, what is the parking situation like at the Palacio?

Thanks,
Helpmann :)Helpmann,

The pool at the Palacio is on the 4th floor and has about a 4.5 foot solid wall on two sides. The longer outside wall fronts calle duarte. Across the street from the longer pool wall is an old apartment building. You can look inside the apartments from the pool wall. The shorter pool wall faces north, up calle duarte, there is a church in the distance. Zona Colonial does not have many tall buildings, because the pool is on the fourth floor, it is fairly private. The hotel palacio has cameras throughout the property.

Hotel Palacio just about always has a worker standing outside during the day, they usually have a parking spot blocked off with an orange traffic cone, in front of the hotel. I have seen the same two workers out front, for the last three years. Not a big turnover of workers at the hotel. When you pull up in front of the Palacio with your car, a worker will move the traffic cone so that you can park in front of the front door of the hotel.

At night they want you to put the car in the indoor garage. The indoor parking garage is small, about 6-7 cars can fit in there. I have on occasion left my car parked outside, in front of the hotel, overnight.

The German manager of the Hotel Palacio drives a silver Mercedes Benz and his car is usually inside the indoor garage.

Can be a pain sometimes parking in the inside garage, when it has 6 other cars. On occasion I have left the keys to my car with the front desk, if they need to move my car.

There are some very narrow streets in Zona Colonial. Many streets have deep gullies for when it rains. Driving your car to Hotel Palacio there are various routes you can take. From Gascue, I usually take the Malecon and make a left off the Malecon in the zona colonial.

From Parque Independencia you can drive north and there is a very narrow cross street where you can make a right. The next bigger cross street that goes east, goes past some supermarket, has terrible traffic at rush hour.

On Calle Duarte near Hotel Palacio there are always 3-4 taxi guys waiting around. When I send the chicas home, I usually have a worker from the hotel call a taxi.

Hotel Atarazana is a small hotel in Zona Colonial, that gets good reviews on trip advisor. Has about 8 rooms, has a Policia Nacional station next to it and I was told has a secure outdoor parking lot. I believe a swiss couple run the place. Not sure how chica friendly it may be.

My ex-wife's father was a good friend of Balaguer, the late president of the Dominican Republic. He taught me many things about the police in the DR. First of all, they have a law that allows tourists 90 days to become familiar with the driving rules in the DR. Next, Never argue with them, shake their hand and smile as if you are old buddies. Never ever speak a word of Spanish. Speak only English and even though you know they are asking you for your drivers license, just act dumb and keep saying "I do not speak Spanish" They get tired of f _ _ king with you and leave. It works every time and after 30 years of driving there, I have learned.

1. Why are you giving a Dominican police officer your drivers license? The only thing a Dominican police officer will ever handle of mine is a photocopy of my International drivers license.
2. Why are you asking a Dominican police officer how much? You're just inviting him to ask for something outrageous.
3. Why are you having a conversation with a Dominican police officer? These guys don't speak English!! Why help him hustle you by speaking Spanish?

What the hell is going on in Santo Domingo?!?!? I drive in Santo Domingo almost every night I'm on the South Coast and although I have been pulled over a few times, I have never ever given into bribes and I have never paid a fine.

I also drove my rented car for two weeks in SD.

First time I was stopped on daytime in Boca Chica, the officer dropped my papers on the street, my friend took it back from him and stored the papers in the glovecompartment, and I did not realize in that moment, that my international drivers license was missing, I think it was blown away by the wind, when the papers were lying on the street.

Then I catched me a copy of the copy, that made Thrifty rental car company, of course it was a bad copy, in a night I was stopped by Policia Nacional on Independencia av.,

I played not speaking spanish, only some words. He wanted me to come out of the car, because one of my back light was not working. So he wanted me to fine.

But I did not understand, spoke english and when he wanted me to drive further on to a gas station, where is more light, I drove off fast and escaped the two policemen, they did not follow me.

The second time on indepedencia I was stopped, I had a girl from a club on Indep. And she told me to drive to the club and go in, because the PN is not allowed to come in. I did not know, but it worked,

The security man on the street told us later, that the police did not come too close to the club and drove off.

So I never bribed them, although they aspected it.

Don't let them fool you, and don't ask how much.

It takes a little while to learn the streets in zona colonial. Hotel Atarazana is on a very narrow street. Plaza Espana is nice at night. Also in that area is bar atarazana 9 and clik (lesbian bar).

Any questions just ask.I enjoyed your review. Very comprehensive. Thanks. Does Hotel Palacio allow more than one chica at a time?

Can you recommend places to meet chicas?

Thanks

But unfortunately, if you bring in a chica after 9 pm, they charge you 400P.Never knew that. I sometimes pay for two people. Seems a few times I paid the single occupancy rate, they never mentioned anything to me about 400 pesos ($11 US).

The least expensive room they have, according to their webpage is $80 for one person and $85 for two people, breakfast included, studio room. With the 26% tax the price is $107 for two people. I guess I was given the studio room price, it was a good room, not small.

I just usually show up and ask for a room. Just about always the price is about $100 per night (I can remember getting charged $97, sometimes the chicas will eat or drink something from the mini bar, total bill about $102). I don't ask for any particular room. Room 124 has sort of a patio with a table outside. Mini bar prices are not bad.

They have a promotion for May: "Hotel Palacio, May 01 to May 30 - 2010, Stay 2 nights and get 20 % off, Full breakfast included. use discout code: May 2010, Discount will be reduced at check out."

Maybe I will book online and save 20%.

https://www.hotel-palacio.com/?page=home

With the 20% discount, single occupancy room, total price should be about $80 per night (26% taxes included).

Can you post the link for the $65 bucks/night at Jaragua?

Jaragua is a 3 star hotel as shown on their website. The cheapest weekend rate is $88 plus tax which would be $110.88. Now on top of this you think it is wise to also rent a $65 room at Riazor. $175 a night for hotel rooms? If you have cash flow like that good for you. I know I don't.

If you are going to post a special hotel rate it would be nice to state whether it is with or without taxes and a link.

$110.88 a night in the Jaragua Garden Section is no bargain. The Garden Section is no more than a glorified Motel 8.

Meals at the restaurant next to Riazor are not cheap. They are reasonable priced but by no means are they cheap.Does the Riazor allow 2-3 chicas at the time? It looks GREAT for $65 ?? Thanks.

If you read classified ads (in Spanish) Gran Paradise Center is promoting itself as a place to satisfy fantasies other places rarely or never satisfy. They have an activity this Wednesday night, a real lesbian show that includes interaction with the public that pays a 500 pesos fee. According to the ad the girls are going to bj the guys and you are going to finish over the girl's bodies, bukkake dominican style. From 7:00 pm. I have never read of something like this in Santo Domingo but I believe is common in other countries. I definitely am going to visit this place for another 3,some, heheh.Location! Location? Can you recommend places to meet chicas?

ThanksLook at Boricua Online's SDQ Monger map. He has pinned the locations of many places, bars, hotels, restaurants and brothels (casas).

There are numerous bars throughout the city where chicas hangout. There are a group of bars on Avenue Venezuela just north of Las Americas road, on the other side of the river. Several bars in the neighborhood called Naco, with middle class to upper class people. Acropolis Mall has bars. Bar Atarazana in Zona Colonial, Thursday night, is packed

Coppa discoteca in hotel melia on the malecon stays open late every night, has a mix of pro chicas and regular chicas.

For pay for play action there are numerous places.

Expedia has hotel Palacio for $70 per night, with $16 in taxes. Use promo code: "CZSD-EXG4-F6XD-5Z9P" (10% off coupon, it may work for one night) to take $14 off a two night stay, total price for two nights $158.

Expedia has some promotions for various hotels in SDQ. For the above booking at the Palacio, Expedia offers: "Expedia Extra, Just book any participating hotel on Expedia and get two coupons:

• $200 off a flight + 5 or more night hotel stay

• $100 off a 4+ night hotel stay

Coupons will be deposited in your Expedia account by August 2

For use August 5 through September 30, 2010 for travel through October 31, 2010. "

For hotels with a price of $75 or more a night, use promo code 10spring10, to save $10 per night when booking for two or more nights.

Weekend rates at the Marriott Courtyard are $99 per night, plus the 26% in taxes.

I don't know where I am staying yet. I do like to visit hotels that I have not been to before. I will spend the first night with the GF and she will check in with me, so for the first night, I don't need a chica friendly hotel.

Orbitz has promo codes as well, that will save you some money.

Hi, gran paradise center is growing up.

Very nice place and nice girls.

www.granparadisecenter.page.tlThanks. I will try to find the place this weekend. Their webpage has prices of the different massages. Appears they rent out rooms as well, nightly, weekly and monthly room rentals.

The webpage also gives directions on how to get there, rough translation of their directions:

"From the city, 15 minutes, take the tunnel for the service road, 500 meters the entrance for the horse racing track, continue on the service road and you will encounter Urb. Luz Maria, enter and after one minute the first house on the left

From Boca Chica or the airport, 10 minutes, after the toll, take the exit for the service road, pass the autodromo (car racing track) and when you see La Friger (a refrigeration company), the first (street?) make a right, Urb, Luz Maria, in one minute the first house on the left."

Yeah, but check out their rates. A room and a chica for the night (10pm-8am) is RD$6,000.

Does anyone know the hours? 24 x 7, I'm coming in at 1AM and should me on the road by 1:30AM.On their webpage they have an option, take a chica from 10pm till 8am with a room at their place, 4500 pesos (actually 6000). Appears they are open late. When I go there, I will ask their hours of operation.

Massage casas in boca chica are open 24/7.

Paradise Massage, with rooms on site, I would guess chicas probably live there and therefore probably open 24/7.

I remember 8 years ago going to the massage houses in boca chica. They had a small binder with the prices and descriptions of the different massages they offered. I always chose the cheapest priced massage, I would pick the chica, go into a room with a bed, the chica would come in, massage my back, then bj, then sex.

I only mention this because Paradise Center offers two kinds of massages. The cheaper massage (says it includes the private parts), 3 chicas for 3000 pesos. The more expensive massage they offer is called Paradise Full Massage, price for 3 chicas is 9000 pesos. I guess full means everything. Maybe the cheaper massage is only a masturbation massage.

Room rentals are 1500 pesos per night.

Prices are not that cheap. For overnight with a chica (10pm to 8am) they want 4500 pesos. For an hour massage, that may not include sex, 1500 pesos. At GBP the prices are similar (sometimes cheaper), at least at GBP, for 1500 pesos you know there will be sex.

Are you saying to pay for BOTH Jaragua and Riazor just to use the f**king pool at the Jaragua? You don't have to stay at the Jaragua to use the casino and and the Riazor is girl friendly with safes in the room so what's wrong with banging a chica there, I and many guys on this board have done it.

no i say i keep one room to bang in, and one room to sleep and relax in. keeps things more safe for me, no risk of robbing me and my goodies.

as for those who want the link to the rate, you can try code 'LPR' or 'NPR' (local promotion rate) or (national promotional rate) at all marriot hotels under corporate code. it works 90% of the time. if you google you can search for other corporate codes. good luck.

Yeah, but check out their rates. A room and a chica for the night (10pm-8am) is RD$6,000.I thought it was 4500 for the room and chica, now I see it says extr. (extra?) 4500 pesos. I don't know who their clients are. I don't believe many local dominicans will pay those prices. The place is in the boondocks, I don't believe many guys staying in central Santo Domingo will want to pay a taxi, both ways, to go there and pay those prices, unless there are some real gems there and service is fantastic.

I'll try to find it and stop in, on my way from the airport into the city this weekend.

I have been telling the chicas, that I met recently online, that I am already in DR. I know from past experience when I call chicas (when I am in DR), many say they are busy and can't see me that day. So by telling them that I am already in Santo Domingo or Santiago I can gauge their availability (the ones who say they see can meet me the same day, are the ones I will concentrate on when I get to DR). I only do this with the new chicas, who I have not yet met in person. Other chicas that I know from past trips, I give them an incorrect arrival date.

I have my excuses planned, so that I can disappear for days (from the gf's).

I will go to Walmart and buy toiletries. Also at Walmart they have women's wrist watches starting at $10, some made by casio and some by timex. I have been told large wristwatches are preferred by some chicas in DR. It will be the first time giving an inexpensive wrist watch as a gift. I will also go to TJ Maxx and Marshalls and buy calvin klein, Ralph Lauren, etc. perfumes for $15 to $20.

I will go to the bank and get 100 one dollar bills and probably 10 five dollar bills, tip money (for the workers at the hotels) and bribe money for the police. (sometimes giving a 50 or 100 peso tip is too much, oftentimes I don't have 50 peso bills, a one or two dollar tip is sufficient for certain situations). I may or may not bribe the police, really depends on my mood. I will be doing a bit of driving, sometimes it is easier to give them a few dollars and be on my way, really depends on my mood at the time of the stop and how the police are (the friendly cheerful police, I have less of a problem giving them a tip, the rude nasty ones, I don't want to give one peso).

I may rent the chevrolet aveo, the only thing that worries me about that car are the tires. I had one tire blowout driving that car on the highway.

Is the Nicolas Santo Domingo Hotel (I believe it was once a part of Sofitel) Chica friendly? I ate there once and had a great time at the lounge. It was a great hotel, but I'm not sure if I could bring chica's back without a problem. I stayed at the Hilton that trip, which was chica friendly, but everything was expensive.

Back in January I bought my "regular" a cheap Walmart watch and she was thrilled. When I saw her in March she showed me the finish was wearing off and accused me of buying her a cheap watch, what an ungrateful *****. Time to switch "regulars",haha.

Fellow mongers,

I went to this place for the first time last night and let me tell you the place is the spot in that area the place itself is very nice better that any of the places on the area and it looks quite big since they are still doing some construction work.

Regarding the selection I have to agree with what a fellow monger said on previous report about the place, it seems they have a certain criteria to let girls work there because all the girls I saw looked at least decent let's say 6.5-7 depending on your personal taste.

All shapes and sizes available in the place but tall, thick, big booty women rule the place is f@##$ overwhelming.

The going rate is 3,500 pesos (100 dollars) for 2 hours but some girls said that they did not respect the 2 hrs rule I guess they do not live in the premises or if they like a guy or think they can make more money they stay longer.

Had a beer for 150 pesos, I did not take out anyone since I was there mainly to check out the place with some friends but I will certainly be back since the place is awesome.

Outside the place I also noticed some SWs that looked very nice and their rate was 1,500 pesos and I am guessing no time limit.

That is all for now please check out the place and post reports, trust me it will be worth it and I will be checking out the old places also.

Peace

Hey Jaosousa,

I'll be in town for Memorial Day weekend 05-28 to 05-31. How do I get in touch?I couldn't reply in the travel announcements thread.

Easiest way for me would be to send you a private message here on this site with my contact info. You will be getting in next Friday, I will be posting throughout my trip, so I will try to post where I will be next Friday. Best not to post too much private information on a public forum (name or contact info).

I found Pacos Gentlemans Club, near the airport. Very easy to find, it is on Las Americas highway just below the highway ramp. From the front of pacos the highway ramp from SDQ airport will be straight in front of you and above you. Good place, owner is a good guy. About 6 chicas Sunday night, no skinny chics, all were healthy (no small asses) and pleasant.

I found grand paradise massage house near the V hipodromo racetrack. Very easy to find as well. I'll post photos as soon as I resize the photos.

Owner of Grand paradise is half Italian, half German. I got to the house around 11am Saturday. Janny the massage chica was there, wearing panties and a bra. When I entered the house, the owner was very nice to me. He told Janny to take off her clothes, which she did, and she then showed me around the large house while completely nude.

I stayed in the grand paradise massage house for about 4 hours, drinking presidentes. Janny did a nude dance, lap dance on me, she took out a 12 inch, thick dildo and she inserted it completely in the tota. Eventually she took me into a room and another chica entered the room as well, I got the four hand massage, both chicas were nude, oral sex as well. Janny is cute, beautiful thin body, big pussy lips, she is a worker (A+ for effort). Grand Paradise will be having a lesbian show this week and another show on saturday.

I took one chica out of bar 305 last night around 4am (Sunday night), very nice chica, the younger owner guy of 305 was very nice.

Yesterday (Sunday) I had a bunch of beers at la base bar on avenida espana, at least 7 sexy waitresses, one was an amazon, big booty and big tetas, she was wearing a black fishnet outfit over a bikini. Fefita la grande was singing at la base last night. She looks like she is about 70 years old, tetas popping out and she was moving sexy.

The owner of grand paradise reads this site, he asked me if I knew boricua online.

I knew the real name of the owner of Pacos gentlemans club from Buscemi. When I said his real name to him he was very surprised, he said not many people know his real name. The owner of Pacos gentlemans club speaks perfect English.

I'll post photos and more information as soon as I can. I am writing this while sitting in the lobby of a hotel, with about 6 people around me. (Internet problems, I tried to post this earlier).

All of these photos were taken within an hour after leaving Las Americas Airport, Santo Domingo. As I always do, I rented a car from Alamo. I asked the guys at the car rental parking lot if they knew of a casa with chicas near the airport, they said casa de paco was near there. The guys at the rental parking lot told some 20 year old dominican guy to get in my car and show me where Paco bar was located. From the airport go towards las americas highway, for Paco Bar don't take the elevated ramp that goes toward santo domingo. Make a right on Las Americas and go as though you were going to boca chica. Make a U-turn at the first place you can and head on las americas highway in the direction of santo domingo. Paco Bar is located near the elevated ramp of las americas highway, less than 10 minutes from the airport. Casa de Paco (paco bar) has a swimming pool and a bar with a raised dance platform with a stripper pole. I was there around 9pm Sunday night, the chicas were nice, each one came over to me and introduced themselves. No rush, no hassle. The chicas one at a time got up on the platform and danced. If you want chicas with meat on their bones, there was a good selection there, not fat, but no skinny chicas.

As I exited the airport a very heavy rain started around 10am in the morning. The camera lens will fog up when going from an air-conditioned car to the outside where it was warm with rain, some of the photos near paco bar the lens was a little fogged up. The place looks better in person. The photos are posted to help you find the place.

Nice thing about when it rains in dom rep, is that there are very few motorcycles or scooters out on the roads.

If you decide to go to grand paradise massage center from the airport, take las americas highway toward santo domingo city. After the toll booth you can exit and get on the service road. Service road in Spanish is marginal. From the exit near the toll both you will be on the service road for at least ten minutes, when you will pass the car racing track. After about 5 minutes you will see a white building on the right side that says "Friger", after about two minutes you will see a 5 foot high cement sign saying "Bienvenidos A La Urbanizacion Luz Maria". Make a right on the street where you see that sign. Grand Paradise will be a few minutes down that road on the left, very easy to find.

Jaosousa
05-25-10, 09:16
I drove by the friger building and the sign for urb luz maria and I didn't see them the first time. I saw the sign for the horse racing track so I made a right there. I remembered the directions Boricua Online gave about making a right turn off of the road that goes to the hipodromo, only problem is, that all the cross streets I saw were bad dirt roads, maybe with an All Terrain Vehicle or a motocross motorcycle you could traverse those roads. Don't take the road that goes to the Hipodromo to try and get to Paradise Massage Center, you will be sorry.

I knew I was close to Paradise Center, so I continued on the road that leads to the horse racing track (hipodromo), I figured it would lead me to another cross street that would get me to paradise massage. The road got worse and worse, eventually only dirt roads. I drove through some barrio, some houses had pigs in the front yard. I asked some woman for Las Americas highway she told me to go straight, eventually the road forked, I decided to go left, the road went down a steep hill with a 5-10 foot drop off on one side, the road was at least 50% washed out. I decided I didn't want to die on my first day in Dom Rep, I backed my car up and went down some other road that lead me to a dead end.

I eventually back tracked from where I came from and eventually got back onto the Service Road and then I saw the Friger building and the sign for Urb Luz Maria.

It is now 4:30am early Tuesday morning, some chica with nice perky breasts says she will visit around 10am today to go swimming in the pool. I may drive to Santiago later today.

Jaosousa great report.

I am familiar with 305 and La Base (you are right about Fefita that old lady is quite a show and the girls @La Base look mad good).

The other two places Paco's and Gran Paradise Massage , I have never heard of them please post pics and directions and if you took pics of the girls of all the places you mention in this report please post.

All of these photos were taken within an hour after leaving Las Americas Airport, Santo Domingo............
You sure don't waste time getting into first gear. Sometimes I just don't know how you do what you do...........

So the new places Paco's Gentleman Club and the Grand Paradise Massage are they worth the ride coming from ciudad centro? For guys staying in Gazcue without a car does the added expense of a taxi justify these places as a must do? I know without a car staying near Gazcue a guagua trip would be a major hassle.

So the owner of Grand Paradise wanted to know if you knew BoricuaOnline? Is he going to give BoricuaOnline a freebie for posting his joint?

If you get some spare time check out Australia's and see if the chica line up has changed (chicas with cedulas). No one has mentioned Australia's in quite some time.

If you can, keep an eye out for upcoming concerts and post.

Thanks, and enjoy your trip as I know you will............

Anthony Santos will be at the Base sometime soon. This past Sunday they had something with racing cars on the malecon.

Coming from the airport or going to the airport (or when coming from Boca Chica or going to boca chica), Pacos and Grand Paradise Massage are worth a stop.

Really depends what floats a guy's boat, as to whether it is worth it to take a dedicated ride there from centro santo domingo. Grand Paradise will have some freaky stuff going on. The owner is a very friendly guy.

Making a special trip there from the tourist area of Santo Domingo (gazcue), I would call first and ask what they have going on and how many chicas they have. Grand Paradise may not stay open late. Grand Paradise is different from other casas, so it is worth it, to visit if you like something different. The owner invited me to stay for dinner, Janny's parents were there preparing food.

At Pacos I didn't ask the prices, the chicas were nice.

The owner of grand paradise has not met boricua online in person yet, that is what I understood. He knows of Boricua Online from reading the posts here. I guarantee Boricua Online will be treated very well when he goes there for a visit.

If you have an early morning arrival flight into santo domingo, most hotels you can not check in till 2-3pm, grand paradise is a place where you can visit before going to your hotel.

I have read lots of ads of Gran Paradise Center on Mundo Anuncio and was wondering why nobody post about this place on the forum? One day I added Gran Paradise email to my msn and had the chance to chat with Yani and she was very nice to me. I had a very good vibe about her, the place, her ideas so I posted about the place based on the information she gave to me. I knew they read the forum because she mentioned it to me, so I told her I was going to post her info and so I did.

I read on a Jaosousa post that he was planning to visit Gran Paradise and later I told her on msn that a USA friend was going to visit the place on his own car so I infer they deducted Jaosousa was that friend. I told her to treat him very well because he is a nice guy and she told me that she treats well everybody because the people that visits Grand Paradise are not customers, they are friends. And as you can see, Jasousa confirmed the place is worth to visit, maybe BQ ribs, Jaosousa and others including myself can have a great party there if we travel the same dates in a near future.

As far as I am concerned if Jaosousa says the place is nice that is good enough for me. It might be a good spot if a couple of guys are in town at the same time and split a taxi ride there and back. Especially if they are doing chica shows cause you can't find nothing like that in SD centro. For guys with a late flight it might be a place to make your last stop before going to the airport.

Banco Popular ATM machines will not give me cash, if I try with an ATM card or with a credit card, I have tried several times on different days with different machines (maybe the machines have no money, I don't know, I get an unauthorized card type message). Banco Leon said my card was invalid and to contact my bank. I thought Chase had blocked my ATM card.

What a clusterfuck contacting JP Morgan Chase Bank from here in the Dom Rep. The 800 area code number will not go through on my claro cell phone. I called some other number with a I believe a 405 area code (98% of the back of an ATM card is empty space, yet they print the phone numbers for the bank super small on the back of the card, and mine was interfered with by the card numbers which were stamped into the plastic on the front of the card).

I had to call a friend in New York and have him call Chase and then call me on three way. Took me about 4 hours to finally speak with a person in the Fraud Department.

The guy at Chase eventually told me my card was OK to use, I went to a Banco Popular ATM machine and received the unauthorized usage message, then I went to a banco leon ATM and received the invalid card message again. I walked over to the jaragua hotel and used a banco progreso ATM and had no problem getting money.

If you use an ATM card in Dom Rep and you get some message saying invalid card or unauthorized transaction, don't assume your bank has put a block on your ATM card. Just try other ATM machines from different banks.

The chicas who used to work at sky house now work at Satin bar. Satin has an elevated platform with a stripper pole, good selection of chicas.

I finally decided to try to take out less cash. Instead of trying to get 5,000 pesos I tried for just 2,000 and Bingo, no problem. So I did 3 or 4 2,000 pesos withdrawals. It cost me an extra $3 in fees but who cares. As an emergency fund I have two bank accounts in rep dom, one in pesos and one in $US. I save them for an emergency emergency.

The Hilton is running a special now at $99.00/nt. A great deal for a 4* hotel even with the added chica fee of thirty bucks. I jumped all over it and will be there next month.

Had my first taste of mongering five years ago in Santo Domingo and looking forward in returning to where it all began for me. Back then my favorite haunt was Remmington Palace, which has closed. Any places around with the same setup?

I have hung out twice with Greek Nikko from this board. I took him to GBP, but GBP was closed at around 2pm last tuesday. We then went to Casa Azul, about 7 chicas. Greek Nikko chose a chica and did everything with her. He used the room on site. We took photos there.

Yesterday some chica I met online visited with her cousin. Incredibly sexy chica. She took a taxi and met me in front of the V Centanario hotel. She was wearing 6 inch high heels and a very short skin tight dress. I took her and her cousin to Zona Colonial. All the Dominican dudes were checking her out, even the Dominican chicas were like wow. The chica is tall, cute face, big booty and hips. Very sweet chica, no complaints with her, she was very happy with the $20 watch I bought at Walmart.

After her I was tranquil, she went home around 7pm and Greek Nikko called me around 7pm, I hung out with him and his girlfriend and a chica who was the friend of the Nikko's GF.

I was so drunk by the end of the night, we pounded many cervezas, many shots of tequila and vodka. The Mojitos in Plaza Espana in Zona Colonial were excellent. We went to Coppa and then adrian tropical, the end of the night is a bit of blur, it was late when I got home.

Tire on the chevrolet aveo went flat in Zona Colonial last night. Nikko helped me change the tire, the lug wrench bent and was not strong enough to loosen the lug nuts on the tire. I paid some dominican guy and he got a stronger lug wrench. After we changed the tire, a brake caliper got stuck on the wheel with the new tire, terrible noise when I drove. I went to alamo today on avenida lincoln north of ave kennedy and they repaired it (I went to the alamo office on ave. independencia and they sent me to the office on Lincoln). Driving to the different alamo offices and waiting while they repaired the car took over 6 hours today (alamo had no other cars available). I had to change my car on sunday night at the airport because the engine light came on and the engine was revving high. I had wanted to drive to santiago early today, maybe I will drive there now, it is 3pm now.

Bring back the strip clubs.Bar 305 has a stripper pole near some sofas. I saw a few fine chicas in 305. I went to 305 around midnight with an older Dominican guy I know. The chicas surround you, they just stand around you. The chicas are pressuring you to choose one. Next time I go in alone, I will stand near the bar, where at least I can turn my back to the chicas and hopefully they will disperse, so that I can have time and space to check out all the chicas.

Sky house is closed, all the chicas from sky house work in satin club which is next door. After 1am the bar at satin closes and some chicas hang out on the front porch. I stopped there to have a beer around 2am, on the porch. One tall blond chica was like are you going to choose a chica or what, I had just sat down and the chica was breaking my balls to choose a chica in ten seconds. I said forget it, I got up and walked away. Some of these chicas in some of these casas want me to choose right away, some chicas in the casas can get rude if you don't choose immediately.

I went to casa modelos around 4am, when I got there, they told me they are open 24 hours. I chose a skinny chica from Bonao. She said the price was 3,000 pesos. I told her I was paying 2,500 pesos in the casas in gascue (which is true). I said 3000 pesos, no problem for me. I was going to take her, then I asked who pays for her taxi to return to casa modelos, she said I would have to pay. I said how much extra would I have to pay for her taxi, she said 300 pesos. Casa modelos is less than 10 minutes away from gascue, where I am staying. I told the chica that I am not an idiot. A taxi from casa modelos to gascue is 150 pesos. The chica was trying to jam me, I said forget it, she got a nasty attitude and walked away. After that I exited Casa Modelos alone, I doubt I will return there.

750ml, the smaller bottle of Baileys at La Cadena Supermarket near Avenida Independencia (one block up from independencia, i believe calle cervantes, it is a few blocks from avenida pasteur and hotel riazor) was 474 pesos ($13 US) today. They have the regular flavor and the other flavors (mint and caramel).

2.5 liters of coca cola bottle was 54 pesos.

Just about all the Dominican chicas like to drink Baileys.

Cheeseburger with french fries and a salad is 165 pesos in manolos restaurant, then add 26% in taxes to that price.

Thanks, I did that today with a different banco popular machine, I chose Spanish as the language and withdrew 2000 pesos, no problem. I think the problem with some other machines is that they have no money. The banco progreso machine in the jaragua had no cash today, it gave me a message saying they were unable to dispense cash at this time. I used a banco popular machine that is attached to the outside wall of a Farmax pharmacy on avenida independencia, today.

I reserved and paid extra for a superior room at the hotel palacio. Price was about 100 per night. I was given room 117. This room is in the back of the hotel, up a very, narrow set of stairs, not easy to carry your luggage up those stairs. The Dominican woman at the front desk who has checked me into the hotel many other times, always has a nasty attitude and treats me like I am a piece of garbage. I checked in around 4pm. I was tired from traveling and fell asleep. I woke up three hours later sweating, the a/c was on full blast, it was like 85 degrees in the room. I walked down to the front desk and said the room was terrible, the woman at the front said "What, the room is too cold", she knew that the a/c in that room sucks and she was just continuing with her nasty attitude towards me. I checked out and paid another $100 to sleep at the hodelpa hotel in zona colonial. I stayed 4 hours at the hotel palacio and I was charged $100.

I wrote the Hotel Palacio an email and they didn't respond, in the tradition of al goldstein from his show "midnight blue", Hotel Palacio gets a big f_ck you.

Put your card in the machine, choose Spanish as the language, enter your PIN number, then choose Retirado efectivo (efectivo means something like cash in your hands), then choose which account, I choose "Cuentas de Cheques", no problem getting 10,000 pesos from the Banco Popular machine in the V Centenario Hotel casino today.

Seems there is a problem with the Banco Popular ATM when I choose English as the language then try to get money from my checking account.

I am staying in Zona Colonial at Hotel Conde de Penalba. Its a good place with a balcony overlooking Columbus square.Remember the Alamo photo was the chevy aveo, I rented from Alamo, the night I got the flat tire in Zona Colonial, the sidewall had a v shaped gouge.

Niko did all the work changing that tire. Seems like the lug nuts were crazy glued on, very difficult time loosening those lug nuts. Niko is a big strong guy, he stood on the alamo supplied lug wrench with all his weight and those lug nuts on the tire would not loosen. Eventually the alamo supplied lug wrench just bent and was totally useless.

It was a lot of fun hanging out with Niko. Niko and I took a Santo Domingo newbie, Thirdcoast around for a tour on Saturday.

We went to GBP. The bartender told me that GBP opens at 2pm and closes around 11pm. GBP had a special, two chicas for 1500 pesos, one chica for 1000 pesos. Niko took one chica and Thirdcoast took two chicas, to the rooms in the back. Milka did a strip show and quickie lap dance, she was grinding her wet pussy on my knee while I was sitting on the sofa.

While I was waiting for Niko and Thirdcoast at GBP, I went outside to smoke a cigarette, three chicas were walking by on ave 27 de febrero, I gave one chica a smile and a wink and she called me down to chat. I told the chicas I was waiting for my friends who were having sex upstairs with some chicas, the chica gave me her number and asked me to meet her at super mercado nacional which is further down the street. I didn't call her or meet her.

After GBP, I drove Niko and Thirdcoast over to Cats on Ave Gustavo Mejia Ricart, but they open around 7pm and we were there around 6pm. We then drove to A-1 Divas on Ave. Nunez de Caceres, near avenida kennedy. The asian chica was there. The tall, dark, busty chica from Santiago was there. The tall busty chica did a strip show with a quickie lap dance and with her nipples in my mouth.

Niko had to get back to Zona Colonial to sanitize before meeting his novia and took a taxi. I stayed at A-1 for an hour with Thirdcoast. I exited and Thirdcoast stayed there.

I didn't ask the prices, but I am sure Thirdcoast has the prices for A-1 Divas. I took photos of the chicas at A-1 Divas and at Casa Azul.

I took Niko to Casa Azul one afternoon. I waited for him while he got his groove on with a cute chica in a room there. I was sitting on the sofa, a chica from Bani to my left and a busty 19 year old chica from la vega to my right. I bought them presidente cervezas. They were fighting each other as to which of them could stroke my dick over my pants. I had to laugh at that. One chica trying to take the other chica's hand off my dick and the other one not letting her.

I went to Bar 305 numerous times on different days. I stopped over on a Sunday night around 3 or 4am, after I had been drinking at the coppa discoteca. The front gate was locked and the inside bar was closed, but the security guys there opened the gate for me and I walked to the back yard where about 10 chicas were lounging outside. I chose a pretty light skin chica from san cristobal. Ronny one of the owners came over to me, told me the price and said he was leaving and that I could give the money to one of the security guys. I walked the chica backed to my apartment. Many of the chicas from bar 305 go to the small fried food place next to Mystik Hotel, around 4am.

The next time I went into bar 305 was midnight one night. The place was packed with chicas. I saw chicas who used to work at casa theresa, sky house and satin in bar 305. I saw one chica who I really liked, but I was surrounded by a group of about ten chicas who were trying to get my attention. I went back another night looking for that chica, but I didn't find her. That night some chica did a show with a candle and hot wax. She was dripping hot wax from the candle onto her pussy, all the the other chicas in 305 were going crazy when they saw that. I did see two policia nacional outside the front door one night.

I met Niko and the santo domingo newbie, Thirdcoast at bar 305 on Saturday afternoon around 1pm. The inside bar was closed, the backyard bar was open. Lots of clothes were hanging on the lines to dry and a chica was washing clothes using two large plastic containers filled with water and soap. There were about 5 chicas there in normal clothes. We were told many of the chicas were at the beach. Other days, I saw a few of the chicas from 305 a few times in normal clothes while walking on avenida independencia during the daytime.

There is a guy with a small sidewalk stand near bar 305 that sells the wooden birds like the one BQ Ribs bought, I'll post the photos shortly.

I met a dominican taxi driver near 305 and he was telling me about different casas. He told me that there is famous place located near to casa australia, 505 or pala something, I didn't understand him completely when he said the name of the place. He said the place is famous. I have never read about that place before.

Bar 305 has at least 30 chicas, all shapes, sizes and colors. Bar 305 does not take credit cards to pay for drinks or chicas.

It was all great fun.

Especially the Alamo incident LOL.

Casa Azul and GBP will get a return visit, plus in private the chicas gave me their number for private adventures.

Last night I took my novia and her family to the Acropolis cinema and watched Prince of Persia. They loved it and her blanca GF could not stop talking about Jao. Imagine that- you left a lasting impression Bud LOL.

Getting ready to check out in a bit and head back to USA for a few days before returning to the prehistoric Miserable East. First I need to make a leche deposito.

The best thing I loved here was the chicas all looked hot, were not wearing freaking burkas, all- especially non WG were friendly and approachable, and ahhhhhhhhhhhh the smell of a hygienically correct woman is marvelous- truly a Greeks Dee Lite.

Next time I will venture to Santiago and PP. I will look to finalize on a residence.

Thanks to Jao I am sold.

Remember the Alamo photo was the chevy aveo, I rented from Alamo, the night I got the flat tire in Zona Colonial, the sidewall had a v shaped gouge.

I took Cagep1967's advice and tried using the banco popular with Spanish as the language. ATM gave me money no problem.

You might be onto something as my novia has a card for a sub-account on my Canadian account and she has no problem at the Banco Popular.

On the other hand I constantly see non spanish speaking tourists lined up at the Banco Popular atm in Sosua, cannot believe they all walk away empty handed

The banco popular atm in the hotel v centenario casino is a newer machine.

As Cagep1967 suggested there probably is a glitch somewhere in the programming for users who choose English. I think the problem is that when I use English on the banco popular machines and then choose to withdraw cash from my checking account, I believe the ATM tries to get money from some other account like savings.

Generally there are more Banco Popular ATM machines throughout the Dom Rep, they are usually more modern and located in convenient places. I am glad that I can get money from them, saves me time from having to search around for other machines.

Hotel Palacio is a nice hotel, all the other rooms I used at the Palacio the a/c was good. I reserved and paid for my first two nights at the palacio because the apartment on the malecon was not available those nights.

Customer service in Dom Rep is hit or miss, oftentimes it is a miss. Would have been nice if the chica at the front desk or the german manager guy said hello and welcome back, but they didn't. Appears they don't want my business. For a chica friendly hotel that has secure parking and that most chicas will be impressed with, the palacio is good for that, just don't stay in room 117.

Before checking into Hotel Palacio, I had been at Gran Paradise Massage where I was treated very nice by the owner who had just met me. After such good treatment at gran paradise massage, maybe I was expecting a little warmth and hospitality from hotel palacio, I didn't get it.

After reading your trip report, I know that the Palacio is anything but a sure thing. That, Niko's trip report, and the fact that the cost of the Penalba is 50% less makes my decision much easier.

Once I get to DR, I'll have a couple of days to look into everything, including parking. The Hotel Conde de Penalba and the location remind me of the Florida Ave. apartment I stayed in while in Buenos Aires.

The Hotel Conde de Penalba has 24 hour security on site just remember to tip the guard at least a couple of bucks US. Let him know what car you have and he will reserve a spot for you and keep an eye on it. On the side street is a bar thats packed at night so get his cell number and call when you are coming back and he will save a spot.

On the ATM issue I went to Intercontinental and Jaragua to use their machine in both English and Spanish to no avail. At Acropolis mall ScotiaBank ATM gave me $$$$$ in English. I watched the locals hit the same ATM in Spanish and everyone that used it got $$$$$

Find a Scotia ATM and you should be good to go, there is even one around the corner from Hotel Conde de Penalba.

Its like foreplay in an non commited venue.

You can relax, have a drink and Fantasize about what you want to do.

After a couple minutes of her seducing you with her pole dance, and your visual foreplay.

The sudden tightness of your pants reveals her acceptance.

Bring back the strip clubs.

There is a strip club in front of the Olimpic Stadium, on John f Kennedy # 41, I am not sure if the name is Showgirls, open Tuesday to Sunday 7:00 pm to 3:00 am. Never been there, just doing my P.I work.

If you are on the express part of kennedy you can't get to the place.

Try to find out what the cross street is for the showgirl's in Santo Domingo.

Thanks for the pics. Always nice to see fotos of SD. Jaragua is one of my favorite places to spend some time. I only stayed there twice for "special" occasions. Not being really chica friendly and expensive I just drop in to visit. I usually spend a little time on the slots and chica watching and the sports bar is a nice place if a big game is on. Be warned the menu prices do not include the taxes so eating there is no bargain. Some may call me cheap but ever few pesos I save here and there gets put towards buying another airline ticket.

Talk about saving money what I still can't seem to understand is why guys are willing to pay twice the price for a chica from the "better" casas. In the past I have done it a few times but it just doesn't make sense. Just because a chica is a 9-10 doesn't mean your time in la cama is going to be any better. Call me Mr. Cheapo but I have found some really wonderful chicas right on Independencia for half the price or less.

LOL, I see you found some more birdies. That was a funny night bartering with that dude. If I remember he started at 800 and sold it for 300 pesos. The stand in your foto I stopped by and asked the price my last trip. The guy said 400 pesos as his first price.

One thing I will always say about going to Santo Domingo is I don't care how much you do while in SD when you leave to come home there is always so much more you just didn't get a chance to do. It is really tough to get bored in SD.

Thanks again for all your reports. You do a great job keeping members informed.

Boricuaonline,

Will you have the new spots you find on your next Map update ? Have you heard or seen the Plaza Criolla bar we talked about ? I am trying to contact the Domincan dude who told me about it but to date unsuccessfully.

Anyone know anything about the Minyx and Satin clubs ? Pro or nonpro bars ?

Just got back from my first mongering trip to SD in 11 years. Had a great time. I was at the Eagle bar much better talent than back in 1999. I did much the same things I did back then that is go to the local bars and hit on the Female wait staff and with some success. I was with my cousin we first when to PR to visit family, I'll post our experiences there on the proper report page. While in SD we visited family we have there and found out the Jet Set Disco is right around the corner. Needless to say our nephews showed us a great time.

I wanted to stay in Dom Rep. I like to save money my money, but sometimes a few extra pesos here or there, oh well .....

On the airplane home I was thinking about my next trip, planning things I would like to do. Never enough time on the ground there, to do everything you want to do.

The one casa chica I took was very nice.

Niko, myself and Thirdcoast met the female owner of satin club Saturday afternoon. She is an attractive woman who speaks perfect English. Satin Club has a large elevated dance platform with a stripper pole. The female owner took us upstairs where there is another smaller bar and another stripper pole. She said if we like a chica we could take the chica upstairs to get to know the chica better (mentally and physically).

I am friendly with a few of the waiters who work at night in Manolos restaurant. One night I showed an older waiter I have known for years the apartment where I was staying. He said he knows most of the chicas who work on Independencia at night. One chubby street walker, he told me has a new jeepeta. I took him into bar 305, a few of the chicas came over to him and said hello.

I stayed one night at the V Centenario with a special GF. I booked through hotels.com and used coupon code "BUDGET510" to save 15%, this code expires July 31, 2010. All the photos were taken Sunday morning. Very few cars on the road in Santo Domingo, Sunday morning, it was Mother's Day in Dom Rep. I paid about $126 for the v centenario, standard smoking room, no breakfast included. Free wifi in v centenario, strong signal.

I had to meet a friend on Avenida Espana near La Base bar. I tried to take the pontoon bridge but it was closed Sunday morning. I followed the other cars and took another small bridge and the road from that bridge put me on Avenida Espana.

Somehow the rear passenger door on the rental car had a small dent, I don't recall hitting anything and this car was the second car I had received, it was given to me on a Sunday night and I didn't inspect it well, when I got it. I wasn't sure the dent occurred while I had the car or it was like that, when I got it. The paperwork from the rental company didn't have the dent identified.

I showed the dent to a dominican friend and with the palm of his hand, he struck just below the dent and the metal straightened out, no more dent.

Twice I took chicas to the hard rock cafe to eat and drink. I sat outside, because inside is no smoking allowed (outside is tranquil, you can watch the people walk by). I ordered the Jumbo Combo appetizer twice. One time I split the Jumbo Combo with two chicas. Price for the Jumbo Combo appetizer at hard rock was 550 pesos. It includes onion rings with a dip, spicy chicken wings with a dip, potato skins with cheese/bacon bits and a dip, chicken fingers and a dip, three egg roll looking things with a small olive salad. It was enough food for me and the two chicas. Food was good at the hard rock cafe.

I ate at the second restaurant in plaza espana, the place had the least amount of customers, heavy set woman runs the place. Mojitos, 2 for the price of one, were excellent. I ordered the appetizer sampler for about 800 pesos, fried shrimp and other stuff, seems the oil they cook with is old and dirty, the fried shrimp and the other fried stuff, the outside was very dark (not golden), I would not eat at that place again.

Manolos restaurant, I usually order a cheeseburger with french fries and a glass of fresh pineapple juice. Cheeseburger with french fries at Manolos is 165 pesos (plus the tax). That meal usually fills me up. One night I tried the cuban type sandwich, Serrano ham and Manchego cheese, price 265 pesos. Only the sandwich came for that price (no sides, no french fries or tostones), very thin sandwich, I was still hungry after I finished the sandwich, I would not order that sandwich again.

Another night at Manolos, I was really hungry, I ordered pasta bolognese with a side of fried plantains (tostones). The pasta bolognese was spaghetti with ground beef on top of it, no sauce. I wouldn't order that again.

On past trips I have bought the fried things (empanadas) inside Villar Hernanos restaurant and the seafood salads there.

Anacoanda restaurant next door to hard rock cafe on el conde in zona colonial, I ate at anacoanda one time, I would never eat there again.

I stayed one night at the hotel maison gatreux. 2000 pesos or $55 US, I checked in with the same special GF, who stayed with me at the v centenario. I was thinking about spending one Friday night in Juan Dolio at the Caribe Paraiso hotel for about $50 per night. Only problem is that Juan Dolio gets crowded on the weekends, parking can be a pain in juan dolio on the weekends, Caribe Paraiso has parking for about 6 cars.

I stayed on the first floor at Maison Gatreux, they painted the lobby and the rooms. The air conditioning in my room was cold. The mattress was firm. When I woke up in the morning, the room had a bit of a bug spray smell. The rooms now have electronic plastic room key cards.

The guy who owns Maison Gatreux has a private security company. I have seen the guards from his company outside the hotel conde de penalbe, they wear shirts with something like JG Security.

Thanks for the info on the parking situation at Hotel Conde de Penalbe, I will stay at that hotel on one of my next trips.

Anacoanda restaurant next door to hard rock cafe on el conde in zona colonial, I ate at anacoanda one time, I would never eat there again.Of course it is to each his own and these are personal opinions but wow - I couldn't have thought of three worse choices of restaurants in Santo Domingo. Your descriptions of the food speak for themselves and that is bad enough but the prices - my God! Manolos is a 24-hour restaurant because that is the only way it can remain in business with the low quality of food they serve. The Hard Rock's formula is the same the world over - low cost ingredients, high menu prices, and cheesy rock themed decor that adds up to an insult to American cuisine and culture. Finally, file under "haste makes waste" - a restaurant with few customers in the always crowded Plaza Espana should raise a red flag.

Thank you for your review, it is a good source of places to avoid.

On a more positive note, Pasta Pasta on the Conde just east of and across from Petrus has affordable lunch and dinner specials that include beverages. Their menu is a changing variety of pastas with a choice of sauces and rotisserie chicken with a choice of side dishes. A whole roast chicken with two sides and a jumbo (liter) Brahma is 460 pesos - it is more than enough food for two. Brahma is not a preferred brand of beer in the Dominican Republic, I would recommend paying extra for Presidente.

Brahma beer, I would rather drink sewer water. The place in plaza espana, I went to have drinks (even a bad restaurant with few clients can't screw up bringing bottles of presidente beer to the table), not to eat and the mojitos were excellent, after drinking for a while, I got a little hungry and ordered the appetizer sampler. Hard Rock food is not bad (one Jumbo Combo appetizer for 550 pesos fed three three people, with the taxes it is less than $20 US, for a first date with a chica who brings along a cousin or friend, not a bad place), plus it is a good spot to people watch. When I am meeting chicas for the first time in person, the Hard Rock Cafe is a very easy meeting spot, I can sit outside smoke cigarettes and drink beer while I wait for the chicas to arrive (In New York, I would never eat at the Hard Rock Cafe). I usually eat late at night after midnight, so manolos is fine for a cheeseburger, much cheaper than the sports bar in the jaragua hotel and manolos is within walking distance, so I don't have to drive at night and get harassed by the policia nacional. I am not enough of a native yet to eat at that little fried food place next to mystik hotel, that place is popular with the chicas from bar 305. Adrian's Tropical on the malecon is open 24/7, I have eaten there a few times late at night.

Most of the clients at Manolos are Dominicans, I have walked by that place in the early evening and it was full. I am not saying the food is great at Manolos, but for a cheeseburger and fries for 165 pesos, close to the action, late at night, it is fine with me. One of the waiters speaks English and when I am alone I can chat with him.

The place you mention on el conde, Pasta Pasta, I have no idea where it is it. I have gotten pizzas from a few places on el conde and they were nothing special. La Briciola off el conde is supposedly good, but pricey.

Any other restaurant suggestions, where a guy can get good high quality food at an affordable price would be welcome. Especially since it appears you have a better palette than I do, thanks.

Maybe you live in Santo Domingo, so maybe you know the City well. If you do live in Santo Domingo, I don't get the underlying hostility that you exhibit in your post. When I am in Santo Domingo, I get plenty of sex, that my mind is tranquil and peaceful. Maybe you should take a drive and get one of those chicas you mentioned that will have sex with you in a parking lot for 500 pesos, take off some of the edge.

The moderators of this site won't permit the "W" word to describe the occupation of some chicas, it is disrespectful. To describe where they work, you can use brothels or casa de citas. Gracias.

I wanted to mention two places I ate this past trip in La Capital. D'Luis on the Malecon across from Foxy's has been really good the two times I've eaten there. And there is a Italian restaurant on the west side of Burgos, just off Independencia, about 3/4 of a block toward the Malecon and it was excellent. Don't recall the name but highly recommend it.

Thanks for the criticism. So happy to see that you offered a little bit of information to this board.

Since you are such an expert on the food scene in Santo Domingo, maybe you can give this board a list of restaurants to avoid.

Also if you could give this board a list of "Knowledge" approved food establishments along with their hours of operation, their locations and the price category, it would be helpful to other mongers.

I will continue to eat at Hard Rock Cafe and Manolos (I am not walking far in the heat and I will not drive my car and sit in traffic in the daytime or get harassed by policia nacional late at night trying to get to some restaurant). I guess if I was with a 500 peso chica, the ambiance or the location of the restaurant wouldn't matter. I know the expensive restaurants in Santo Domingo, Vesuvio, David Crockett and others. I am no great food connoisseur, I do not travel to Dom Rep for the food. If a restaurant is in a convenient location and the food is edible and doesn't make me sick, I am usually happy with that. I go to Dom Rep to eat pussy.

I am no expert on all things Santo Domingo, I post where I have been and the prices I paid and whether I liked the place or not, if you want to flame me for that, no problem.

This board awaits your pearls of wisdom, Mr. Knowledge.

Of course it is to each his own and these are personal opinions but wow - I couldn't have thought of three worse choices of restaurants in Santo Domingo.

Manolos is a place I visit every time I go to Santo Domingo, they know me and treat me very well, and of course I like some items of the menu, and their garlic bread, mmm!

I like D'Luis Parrillada, Pala Pizza, Adrian, El Conuco, Villar, Pacos.

I went once to Hard Rock with a chica that worked on the Jaragua cigar store, we developed a friendship on one of my Jaragua stays and spent some time with her on 3 travels I made. Last time I saw her was on Hard Rock, she gave me a souvenir gift I still have. She died a few days later on a fire inside her apartment in el Conde, just a block from La Despensa. Her roomate also died. Both were in their mid 20's.

Here is my 2 cents or 1 peso. (3.7 cents)

I have 16 years In SD and mongered for awhile settled down with a local girl, got burned for "mitad" (half of my small fortune). So be careful they are very deceptive.

Not all but most are only looking for a Visa or quick cash but we all know that.

Jaosousa please don't take a little constructive criticism personally.

Your reports are excellent and you know what's going on.

My advice to you:

Get your residency and a Dominican DL and then Policia can't touch you.

As far as I am concerened:

Knowledge is right about the restaurants, but to each his own.

Manolos is convenient but that's about it.

You won't see many Dominicans eating there, as they know the quality is sub-standard.

The 24 hour thing and there location keeps them in business, and now they are selling water.

For seafood:

I recommend Sully Restaurant on Charles Sumner 19 (close to Price Mart). A bit of a drive or cab ride but this is favorite with locals. There prices will make up for the cab fare or gas to get there.

The "Adrian Tropical on Lincoln Avenue has better service and food. Then the one on the Malecon.

Or try Lincoln Road just down a bit from Adrian's, a little pricey but the quality is good (especially the ribs). Costillas.

Now here is a bit of fatherly advice.

Unlike developed countries the majority of these girls pro's and none pro's have never been to a Gynecologist unless they start having problems.

There is an increase in the HPV papiloma virus. (HPV papiloma humano).

So like the restaurants be very careful where or what you eat. LOL

Google it!

Here is a reality check:

I have a long time friend who married a Dominican guy and he is dying from AIDS.

Fortunately she is ok physically and holding up mentally.

For the most part girls that don't work in a controlled environment may have never been tested for SIDA (HIV AIDS) or hepatitis. The sad part is that they grow up without proper medical care and adult supervision and become sexually active at a very young age.

The scary thing about this is that even if the non pro girl knows she has something she will remain sexually active. They get used to the fast money and don't want to lose that income.

So do your homework and if you have a special novia do yourself and her favor and hit the clinic before you engage in unsafe sex.

Please excuse my poor writing skills, grammer and punctuation.

Next time try ordering the pasta bolognese "to go" as I think you will enjoy it much better with two "side orders" as shown in the pic I posted back in August. The side dishes are about 1,000 pesos each. LOL

My last trip, I met a guy who sells sex toys and other erotic stuff in Dom Rep. He was telling me there are a few sex toy shops in Santo Domingo, one in Naco. He said there is a place in Mega Centro Mall that sells some sex toy stuff. He said generally the quality of the stuff they sell in DR is not great. He said the bullet type toys are popular because they are cheap. He said something called the Jack Rabbit is good, but expensive for DR chicas.

He sells some spray called good head, that can be sprayed on the penis or the chica's tota, to give a good flavor.

Good post, thanks for the advice. I will visit the seafood place. I have driven by Lincoln Road restaurant a few times and was considering staying at the new Holiday Inn on Avenida Lincoln. Lincoln Road restaurant looks like a good place. The Adrian Tropical restaurant on Avenida Lincoln looks nice, lots of live plants, jungle themed place. I have read that Chef Pepper is a good place. Mitre is a place I saw, I don't know anything about it.

I met one 18 year old chica, I checked her cedula. She told me that she had a dominican boyfriend who was 33 years old and she had been with him for three years, she said she broke up with him one year ago. Do the math, she was getting tapped when she was 14 years old. Even an 18 year old chica can have high mileage.

I always learn on this board, anyone who has a better place to visit or a better way of doing things, I am all ears.

Thanks again.

I met one chica my last trip, who I knew from online, I knew she was a bit of a freak from the stuff she would do on her webcam. In person she was much skinnier, she was straight up about asking for money when I met her in person. Most of the chicas I meet online don't do that. With her there were already a few red flags and her personality was off. She took off her shirt and her back was covered with 100 bug bites, I have never seen a chica with that many bug bites. I didn't do anything with her, I gave her some money and walked her to a taxi.

I agree, you do have to be careful. The novia chicas I know in santo domingo either work in the medical profession or have family members who are doctors and they are always giving me updates whenever they get a medical examination. I try to be careful.

Thanks again, excellent advice.

Barra Payan is a good 24hour spot but you need a car to get there. There are two other places you can get a really decent late night sandwich. The first place is the cart right in front of Hotel Navarro. My favorite is Parrillada New Jersey for some really, really good eating (Fabio Fiallo at the corner of Jose Gabriel Garcia).

The pasta bolognese was spaghetti with ground beef top of it, no sauce. I wouldn't order that again.

On past trips I have bought the fried things (empanadas) inside Villar Hernanos restaurant and the seafood salads there.

Anacoanda restaurant next door to hard rock cafe on el conde in zona colonial, I ate at anacoanda one time, I would never eat there again.I agree with Jaososua. The food and service at Manolos is alright. I always get the seafood combination with pasta at over 400 pesos. Sometime I go there just to flirt with the two Haitian waitress they have on the register. I really like the younger one but she seemed too innocent to me.

I travel often to Santo Domingo, for me the posts about food establishments are invaluable and I am grateful and thankful to all the members who take the time to post information regarding restaurants in Santo Domingo.

If you just want to see naked photos of chicas and read stories about sex, there are plenty of internet sites for that.

I doubt you have any intention to ever monger in Santo Domingo.

I guarantee, that if you ever go to Santo Domingo, you will want to know the good places to eat.

GBP in my opinion is still one of the best bargains in town. I went in this evening and there was one local in the place sipping a beer and 10 chicas. Yes, 10 chicas because I actually counted them. I picked a nice little chica who seemed to have nice vibes. Once in the room I doubt if this chica was 5 feet tall with heels. Didn't matter as she was a true delight to be with. As soon as we entered the room she told me in English there is the two chica special for 1500 pesos. I told her I just wanted one chica, her. I handed her the 1000 pesos for the one chica special. When I left I placed a small propina for her on the table, she was worth it. Now where is SD can you get 2 chicas for 1500 pesos other than GBP?

There were a few big booty chicas at GBP. Greek Niko chose one light skin, big booty chica.

Pacos Club near the airport has some thick legged chicas. Also casa azul had a few chicas with healthy rear ends.

There is one tall morena chica in bar 305, that has a very cute face and thick legs.

The roads are good until you get to the border. Then they get rough and muddy during the raining season. It takes about 6 hours but if you have never done it, you will find it to be an interesting experience.
Correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe you can drive a rental car from the DR out of the country. I would be very concerned if anything were to happen. BadBear2000 what are your thoughts about taking a bus for an overnight trip from Santo Domingo?

So true, many chicas will say "tengo hambre" (I am hungry), a chica who is hungry will not perform as well. Good to know restaurants and their prices so that you can feed a chica and get better service.
Prices? You want prices? Ate lunch at Pasta y Pasta today. This is the third time I have eaten there in a little over a month. Don't know why but I had the lasagne again. The food is consistent in taste and the restaurant is very clean. They have two signs posted on the store front. Ke Pollo and Pasta & Pasta. Frank's money exchange is right across El Conde from P&P.

Para llevar means to take out, food to go. Listo en 1 minuto, means ready in one minute. Elije means choose, Elije tu tamaņo, means choose your size (tamaņo=size). salsa= sauce, for the bolognese they include tomato sauce with the ground beef.

Last night I took a cab to GBP, cost 150 pesos. As a person who always likes to try something different I took a publico back from GBP. When you leave GBP just stand on 27 de febreo and flag a publico down. I never know for sure what publico prices are. The driver can tell I don't speak Spanish so I feel I am charged the "special" rate. I gave the driver a 25 pesos coin and he gave me two pesos change. It was around 10pm and I believe the publico prices are a little higher at night. You never know who will be riding in the publico with you and that is what makes it fun.

I didn't have good luck last night as I was sandwiched in the back seat with two chicos and one slightly overweight middle aged woman. None the less it was a funny ride. You ride the publico to the last stop which will be 27 de febreo and calle duarte.

At calle duarte you can take a second publico to parque independencia. I felt like taking a walk last night so I walked down calle duarte to el conde. It was after 10pm and I felt very safe. I walked passed a few bars where the locals were having a good time on a Friday night.

If you are adventurous you can also take a publico on bolivar to lincoln and a second publico to 27 de febreo to get to GBP. Taking the publicos is not for someone who doesn't like to walk.

If in town don't miss out on the current 2 chica special at GBP. I hope this special never ends.

I wish I could remember who was the first one to post about GBP because I sure would like to thank him again.

One more thing, it is hot as Hell in SD now. This is the time of year you want to be in your hotel with the A/C on full blast during the afternoon hours. You want a chica best to call one up for delivery service to the hotel.

I believe Koki 9290 was he first to report about this place a year and half ago. They were advertising a two chica special for 2500. They reduced their price and profiting over variable costs.

I visited the place a year ago and it was fun, a girl danced and stripped in front of me (and in front of everybody) in the bar, two girls french kissed in front of me just to show me that they are into the real 3some thing, another let me verify if her big tits were real or fake, lol. Inside the room with my chica another girl entered from the "conecting room" the use the bathroom, when she came back from bathroom she stood in front of the mirror naked while I was banging my chica, then I fingered her pussy and she began to moan, it was exciting. I hope to be in the city in a few weeks.

The place hasn't changed since you were there. What I like also is the chicas don't attack you as soon as you enter. I sat down, ordered a 150 pesos Presidente and scanned the chicas. A few minutes later one of the chicas did a strip dance, lap dance, I touch her ass and titties dance. The chicas are by no means pushy. I selected this chica right away because of her friendliness. She giggled like a kid when I told her I wanted her. It is all business but sometimes chicas can do small things that make the transaction pleasurable.

This part was funny. Once in the room the chica takes off her G-string panties and wraps them around her hand. She next pulls her hair into a ponytail and uses the panties like a rubberband to hold her hair in place. That shit was funny.

I knew about the special because you posted the info a few weeks ago. When I went in the room I didn't need to mention the special as that was the first words out of the chicas mouth. She says "we have a two chica for 1,500 pesos special", and I said "yes, but I want the one chica special for 1,000 pesos". Done deal...............

No, the prices you see are the prices you pay. The chickens are the rotisserie cooked chickens. All the food is precooked so service is fast. You can eat inside without A/C or they have tables on the sidewalk of El Conde.

I wanted to check out the fish place Knowledge mentioned but that joint is way out there by CarreFour and useless to guys without a car. For me to drive that far for a meal they would have to have lobster tail stuffed with a chica.

Thanks for the Spanish translation. Some of it I could understand but a couple of words had me stumped.

I wanted to check out the fish place ...Sully Restaurant, 19 Avenida Charles Sumner, near Pricesmart. You can take Avenida Churchill north, Avenida Charles Sumner will be a big cross street before Avenida Kennedy, make a left on Ave Charles Sumner and Sully's Restuarant will be on that street. There is a big new La Sirena store on Churchill just above Avenida Gustavo Mejia Ricart.

A-1 Divas is further away from Gascue, than Sully's Restaurant. Avenida Nunez de Caceres is the next big street west of Churchill. Depending on traffic at least a ten minute taxi ride. I have read good reviews about Pricesmart, supposedly has some of the best prices for some stuff in Santo Domingo.

Sully restaurant is probably ten minutes before before Carrefour. Carrefour is west of Nunez de caceres and north of kennedy. Sully restaurant is east of Nunez de caceres, off of Churchill and south of kennedy. From Gascue it is a bit of a ride. I'll check it out.

I ate in a nice quiet restaurant in San Pedro de Marcoris, called Robby Mar. Nice tranquil place, I had the Mero (grouper) there. There was some other fish species on the menu, began with a C, I have no idea what species of fish that was. I think the fish I ordered was done a la plancha, there are numerous ways they can prepare the fish, I don't understand all the descriptions about how the fish can be prepared.

First thing to do is spend an hour or so reading all the past posts. There is a lot of info already posted. Second thing to do is print a copy of BoricuaOnline's map. He has spent a lot of time creating this map and it is very valuable when in SD.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&ie=UTF8&msid=106767774275556555984.00046d685b11334063b43&ll=18.467703,-69.898582&spn=0.009891,0.019248&z=16&mid=1246396605

Third thing to do is after you have read the forum and looked at the map come back and post more specific questions. Just my two pesos but I think there is a great bunch of guys on this forum who are more than willing to share info.

Planing a trip to Santo Domingo and BC in a couple of weeks. I have seen a lot of good reports on GBP. What and where is this place?

Small little bar with living rooms in the back, no beds, only sofas, from what I saw. Located on the south side of Avenida 27 de Febrero, between Avenida Lincoln and Avenida Tiradentes. Most mongers stay in Gascue, so you would take one of the avenues that go west (Santiago, Bolivar or the Malecon) to Avenida Lincoln, where you will make a right and head north till you get to Avenida 27 de Febrero (there will be a super mercado nacional on the corner of lincoln and ave 27 de febrero). Avenida 27 de febrero is a major east-west street in Santo Domingo.

From Lincoln you will make a right onto 27 de febrero, about 600 meters down on the right hand side you will see Arismendy Motors (a car dealer), the next building after Arismendy Motors is called something "Guidry" (this building has circular cutouts in the exterior wall), GBP is on the second floor of this building near the northwest corner of the building. There are a set of exterior stairs near the corner of the building closest to Arismendy motors. There is perpendicular parking for about 7 cars in front of the building. GBP has a glass door with neon lights above the door saying "GBP". Ring the doorbell and a chica will come and open the door. If the metal gate outside the glass door is closed, usually means no one inside. They are open 2pm to 11pm. They are probably closed on Sunday. Take out prices for chicas are higher, if you get there around 10pm at night, you might be able to negotiate a better take out price, any questions just ask.

I met one older taxi driver outside the V Centerario Hotel, his vehicle is a new Mitsubishi Montero. Maybe some mongers would prefer to taxi around SDQ in a nice SUV. I have his info and will post it, in case it might be helpful to a fellow monger.

LOL, There were a few other chicas at casa azul the day I took those fotos, not all the casa azul chicas are in those photos. Same for A-1 Divas. At A-1 Divas there was a cute chica with bleach blonde hair, a chinese looking chica, a cute light skin chica (who I believe thirdcoast hooked up with) and a few other chicas.

Behind the bar at A-1 Divas there was a nicely dressed 27 year old Dominican guy who spoke good English, maybe he is one of the owners. He asked me if I wanted to hear any particular kind of music. A-1 Divas has rooms in the back which I didn't see. A-1 Divas is on the second floor with a small terrace with tables, chairs and potted palm trees. A 2 minute walk from A-1 Divas there is a large banco popular with ATM machines, on the corner of Nunez de Caceres and Kennedy. A-1 Divas is a newly remodeled place, not very big inside, the two times I have been there, it has been fun, no rush and no hassle, you sit and drink and get to know the chicas, you can sit outside at the tables and drink (smoke cigarettes outside if you want).

Casa Azul is on Avenida Paraguay off of Avenida Ortega y Gasset (it is about two blocks from casa theresa). Casa Azul has a large metal gate outside. If you get to casa azul and the gate is closed, you can move the gate a little and enter, there is a large parking area past the gate, usually someone who works at the casa is around there and will open the gate so that you can park your car inside the parking area. The short bartender guy is usually at casa azul in the evenings, he is a very friendly guy. The decor inside casa azul is nothing special.

I have been asked to post this by one of our fellow members.

In the past you have not been able to rent a car in the DR and drive to Haiti or from Haiti to the DR. However, in the last few months following the earthquake I have seen many DR rental cars in Haiti. Now this may take a special permit from some of the help groups but you may check with the car rental agencies.

Next way is by bus. There are 3 different regular bus lines that make this trip every day. Caribtours, Terra Bus, and Capitol Coach Lines. Terra Bus and CCL are located on Feb 27 near each other. All taxi drivers know these lines. The round trip ticket cost about $125 everything included. It takes about 6 to 7 hours but you will find it interesting the first time. After the first trip you learn to not sleep too much the night before so you can sleep on the bus. It is a rather comfortable trip and most of the time not too crowded.

You can fly but the cost is about $125 one way. However the trip only takes about 1 hour. There are 3 airlines that service this route. One from the main terminal in SD and the other two from the small airport. There again most the taxi drivers know where they are and when they fly.

Any questions feel free to ask. I will be arriving in the DR late June 9th if anyone wants to meet up. I will also give you a ride back to Haiti if you want to experience it.

Do not worry. There are no road bandits and kidnappers. All this has been pure BS.

Sometimes you have to go against your better judgement. I have been eyeing this chica for my last two visits. I never bothered to entertain her cause I could tell she was a real pro hanging out by the colmado across from Navarro.

Was feeling in a good mood tonight after Boston won so out I went. Cussed out one shoe shine boy 15 years old for acting like he big shit. Tipped his friend the shoe shine boy who was quiet and very nice more than I paid the asshole shoeshine kid.

So now my Celtics done won and I am walking back to my hotel. I see this same built like a shithouse chica who I know is hardcore puta. Sorry dudes, I let my guard down and asked her how much. She says 1500 pesos, I say 1000 pesos. She says no problema so off we go.

Guys trust me on this one. You want GFE, you got to show GFE. I had this hardcore puta in bed and the experience was truly GFE. She was pleasantly surprised I wasn't just another John who wanted to bang fast, hard, and cum.

Everything was just fine with her. I paid her the mil pesos and gave her dos cientos pesos propina. She was happy.............. and I was very happy.

Moral of my story.......... be nice,,,,,,,,,,,, receive nice........

i had to change my rental car during my trip, the engine light was on, there was a light that said hold always on (hold is some sort of cruise control, there is a hold button near the gear shifter, pressing the hold button would not shut off the hold light on the dash). the car was a chevy aveo, on that car the engine rpm would stay above 2000 while idling.

the guys at the airport who work for alamo, gave me another chevy aveo. while driving to santo domingo city from the airport at about 10pm on a sunday night, a new pickup truck was speeding along in the left lane, going the wrong way. this is the third time that i have seen cars going the wrong way on a major highway in dom rep. usually always at night and on the weekends, maybe a little too much brugal for those drivers.

when i drive in dom rep, i always glance over my shoulder to my right (or to my left), whenever i change lanes or make turns. i always drive with my driver side window down. i can usually hear the motorcycles, but sometimes they are just coasting and you can't hear them. by glancing over your shoulder to the right or the left, you can make sure no motorcycle is coasting along side your vehicle.

one afternoon i parked my car outside the novia's house. i left her house at night and the street was dark. very few cars park on that street. some guy had parked his motorcycle right behind my car (the street is 99% empty and he decided to park directly behind my car). no street lights on that street. i started to back up and the owner of the motorcycle was there and tapped the trunk of my car, there was no contact with him or the motorcycle. lesson learned for me is that don't assume on a mostly empty street, that some guy will not decide to park his motorcycle directly behind your car. i will now look behind my car before entering the car, to see if there is a motorcycle behind me.

You got to try some of that cheap ass pussy on Independencia. My moto is 200 pesos maximum for a meal with beverage and 1500 pesos for a chica. Once in awhile I will splurge and go over the limit but not too often. Every peso saved is a peso towards another airline ticket.

As a matter of fact I ate free last night. Jaragua Casino passes out free plates of food around 8pm. I had lost 750 pesos on the slots and was about to leave when I saw the food start to get passed out. I had one roll of coins left so I sat back down for my freebie meal. The meal wasn't anything fancy but just enough to energize you. A small piece of chicken, macaroni salad, and yucca. While eating I hit 3-7's on the slot and won 250 coins. I cashed out with a winning of 250 pesos more than I walked in with. You can tell I am no gambler. LOL

I enjoy killing time at the slots because it is cheap entertainment and there are plenty of short skirt chicas walking around.

When you going to come on down to SD and spend some time learning the city. SD ain't Sosua but once you learn the ropes it is a great place to be. I started in Sosua but once I ventured out I never have a desire to go back. I think in the last three years I have spent less than 24 hours in Sosua.

To be honest I'm not a casa dude, plus when they say 5mil and mean it, that kills it for me.

Actually I like SD as a city and with my improving spanish, it is a future option.

........BBUUUUT you lost some cool points for being a Celtic fan LOL. I can't stand LA either but Boston is the greater of two evils.......
I am with you on that. I just want to see Kobe cry like a baby when he doesn't get another ring. I am from Jrzy so I am an old time Knick fan but they have been off the chart for so long I have almost forgotten about them. Boston has a well balanced team, no super-super stars just a team working together. Plus I always did like Doc when he was hitting them clutch shots back in the day. Bro I go back to the days when Earl the Pearl Monroe was dazzling the courts.

Now back to chicas...................(or food)

Can someone please give me a quick run down of chica prices for street girls and bar girls and how much time they give you. Any recommendations for a safe hotel near the action?

Can someone please give me a quick run down of chica prices for street girls and bar girls and how much time they give you. Any recommendations for a safe hotel near the action? Most of the action centers around a neighborhood called Gazcue. The Malecon is a major east-west street that runs along the Sea. One block north of the Malecon is Avenida Independencia, which near Gazcue is a one way street going east. A well known cross which connects the malecon to avenida independenia is avenida pasteur.

Within three blocks of Avenida Pasteur and the malecon are three big, generally non-chica friendly hotels, Jaragua, Melia and V Centenario. Gazcue is a safe neighborhood (be careful wherever you are in this world).

Please see boricua online's sdq google map, most hotels, bars, restaurants and locations where you can encounter chicas are pinned on his map.

On avenida independencia about two blocks from ave. pasteur is hotel riazor a chica friendly hotel for about $60 per night. Two blocks up a side street from Riazor is Hotel Jaguar, rooms about $50 per night. These two hotels have gotten good reviews. On Avenida pasteur between independencia and the malecon is hotel mystik for about $55 per night. There are other hotel options, if you are seriously considering going to sdq, ask more questions about the hotel scene in SDQ.

Street chicas prices vary, one member has gotten street chicas for 500 pesos. Most of the time the prices start at 1000 pesos (36 pesos to 1 US dollar).

Casa chicas prices vary, from 2500 pesos and up. Casa chicas, usually for 2 hours, I had a casa chicas stay with me for 8 hours with no additional charge, depends on the chica and the casa (may also depend what time of the day or night you take the chica out).

Coppa discoteca chicas usually want $100 dollars and up. Foxy's I believe wants $100 or more. Baby Dolls I have not been in recently so I don't know their current prices.

GBP best deal in town, 1000 pesos for an hour on site. Casa Azul I believe is 2500. Casa Modelos wanted 3000.

Gran Paradise Massage the price varies depending on the type of massage and the number of chicas you want to massage you.

Pacos Club near the airport, I don't know the prices.

i had to change my rental car during my trip, the engine light was on, there was a light that said hold always on (hold is some sort of cruise control, there is a hold button near the gear shifter, pressing the hold button would not shut off the hold light on the dash). the car was a chevy aveo, on that car the engine rpm would stay above 2000 while idling.

the guys at the airport who work for alamo, gave me another chevy aveo. while driving to santo domingo city from the airport at about 10pm on a sunday night, a new pickup truck was speeding along in the left lane, going the wrong way. this is the third time that i have seen cars going the wrong way on a major highway in dom rep. usually always at night and on the weekends, maybe a little too much brugal for those drivers.

when i drive in dom rep, i always glance over my shoulder to my right (or to my left), whenever i change lanes or make turns. i always drive with my driver side window down. i can usually hear the motorcycles, but sometimes they are just coasting and you can't hear them. by glancing over your shoulder to the right or the left, you can make sure no motorcycle is coasting along side your vehicle.

one afternoon i parked my car outside the novia's house. i left her house at night and the street was dark. very few cars park on that street. some guy had parked his motorcycle right behind my car (the street is 99% empty and he decided to park directly behind my car). no street lights on that street. i started to back up and the owner of the motorcycle was there and tapped the trunk of my car, there was no contact with him or the motorcycle. lesson learned for me is that don't assume on a mostly empty street, that some guy will not decide to park his motorcycle directly behind your car. i will now look behind my car before entering the car, to see if there is a motorcycle behind me.fyi, it is not unusual for motorcycle owners to go for a quick buck by positioning their motorcycles close enough behind vehicles - especially yipetas (suvs) that the motorcycle is not visible from inside the vehicle. they will wait for the yipeta owner to back into the motorcycle and then demand a payment.

heed jaosusa's advice and always be aware of what is behind you before backing up. it could be a sleazy motocyclista or an unattended child! always drive with extreme caution as if you were taking a road test - it will keep you out of accidents.

http://www.asadordeantonio.com/4.html

Excellent NY/Buenos Aires/Chicago style steakhouse grill with excellent ambience and wine list. It is popular with government functionaries, foreign professionals, and embassy staff.

The owner, Antonio, is from Spain and he maintains a sophisticated and comfortable environment. You and the other diners will not be comfortable if anyone engages in indiscreet behaviour such as sucking face with hoes or talking about commercial sex exploits. You can get a consistently high quality meal there and it is a 5-minute or less drive and a direct shot from GBP on the way to Gazcue or the Colonial Zone.

Please don't make me regret this recommendation and cause me to discontinue recommending. Enjoy.

Nice. There is a blonde haired chica I always see on Independencia. She has long hair, hangs out closer towards manolos. Always has a shirt with her breasts popping out. Maybe you know her, I believe her name begins with a K or a C. I have never sampled her.Elizabeth, I believe it is the same girl I saw when I met BQ Ribs in front of Riazor. I was with her a year ago, she was good, 1000 pesos, she does cbj, nice attitude.

I was with her a year ago, she was good, 1000 pesos, she does cbj, nice attitude. When I have seen her on Independecia she is usually standing in the street alone (some chicas hang out in groups). I stopped to chat with her one night, attractive face, seems like the body is solid. Thanks, I couldn't remember her name.
