Is Artemis worth visiting on a Sunday?Yes, it is. Expect a slow day. Everything will be a little bit more relaxed. The variety of girls will be a little bit smaller compared to Friday or Saturday. But it's worth a visit, no doubt about it.
Will be flying into TXL early afternoon and flying out the next day. Any recommendation on hotel with access to both Artemis and TXL? Prefer public transportation but concern about options when leaving Artemis late at night.Accomodation? Maybe Ibis Messe and Hotel Kronprinz will meet your needs. Both are just a short walk away from Artemis. Don't be bothered, the area is safe. Warning: Ibis Messe is noisy because of the freeway and the rail tracks just hundred meters away.
S-Bahn station Messe Nord is in walking distance from Ibis Messe. Take S 41, leave at second stop Jungfernheide. Change to Bus X9 or 109 to Tegel Airport.
S-Bahn station Halensee is in walking distance from Hotel Kronprinz. Take S 41, leave at fourth stop Jungfernheide. Change to Bus X9 or 109 to Tegel Airport.
Buy your ticket (2, 40) at vending machines on S-Bahn station platforms. Tickets are not saled in trains. Validate it at the small red boxes. Note: Drivers of X9 or 109 may check your ticket, when you enter the bus.

Thanks.There are plenty of hotels near the Zoo (I stayed at and liked the Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof), and the Zoological Gardens railway station provides easy S-Bahn access to Westkreuz station for Artemis, plus terminal for express bus to / from Tegel airport. I did the relatively short walk from Artemis to Westkruez a number of times late at night, and I never encountered anyone. It felt very safe.

Artemis (Westkreuz) is just one stop away by S-Bahn. It's even possible to walk back at night. I think the S-Bahn runs all night before Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, but not before working days. Some of these hotels are also quite cheap, but if you're showering at Artemis, you don't need much.
If your culinary expertise on Germany is founded on FKK clubs and their "restaurants".The last K in "FKK" stands for "Kultur", so I assume FKKs are excellent places to experience genuine German culture, including their food?

Due to a number of cock-ups, entirely of my doing, I have not been able to post on the Forum for ages. I couldn't remember my password or even my exact username and my email address was deleted by an ISP. So, I have finally re-registered under a new name and have some catching up to do.

A few random observations, I am catching up with myself.
I mostly stay at the Ibis Messe. It's a 5 minute walk and a reasonable price, as long as their isn't anything on at the ICC. If there is, then I default to Ibis City West, which is a 10 Euro cab ride away.
Does anybody remember a Hungarian, very busty blonde called Clarissa? She had massive breasts and used to stand that the bottom of the stairs resting them on the handrail. Food at Artemis has improved significantly since the change of catering arrangements. Their is an increasing Turkish feel to what is on offer, which is great for me. Most dinners are really very edible. Chicken curry last Sunday, very mild but tasty.

Bit more expensive than the other FKK clubs that I have tried but the facilities are top notch and the quality of the girls high. What I really liked was the diversity of nationalities. This question kept me up most of the night. And what if giant asteroids smacked down say near Hannover and Kassel. Which way would people go? Would they default to Frankfurt?
Really such musings should (if they must) go to the Lounge area, nicht war? Or you could enquire at the reception desk at the Berlin Bornhoeffer NervenKlinik which even has its own S AND U-bahn station, to make it easy to reach.

I spent a week in Berlin and visited Artemis three nights during that time. Had a good time as usual and got to check out the newly expanded outdoors facilities. Very nice. Sadly the weather was cool, cloudy and rainy all three nights so very few people used the facilities, especially the nudes lovelies who preferred to stay indoors where it was cozy. But there is a little more to it. Artemis at full strength, Thurs-Sat as of about 8pm. I like going a little early as has been said many times if you RTFF-girls are fresher, not so crowded, rooms easy to find. It fills up starting 11pm-ish and simply varies from night to night. Some men like the more crowded buzz-some not. Crowded is a kind of relative thing as outside of big congress exhibitions, really not a big deal. Some men (not me) like Dessous night, which is Wed, but staff not quite full strength as on the other power nights. Could be that some girls can't be bothered wearing lingerie. Neither can I.
As you are here for a number of days, and as you can come and go as you wish, you might try a more chilled day-time look. Like noonish / early afternoon. If it is too quiet, as it well could be, leave and come back later for no extra charge. Once you have paid, you leave your name and key at the desk, and it will be there when you return. The difference is during day times there are 10-20 girls on, nights after 8pm, 75+. Music far better during the day (vs the techno pop gunk that increasingly dominates at night, which is about as erotic as elephant farts), no waiting for a massage, decent buffet breakie-lunch til 3pm, then no food til 6pm. Sessioned with '-Licia' (PO, tall petite-ish body. Okay but won't repeat) , Lisa (DE black- awesome in awe aspects, will repeat) and Alicia (Great performance aber my failure). It was the Artemis Geburstag and seemed a bit quiet early, but it really took off after das Feuerwerks outside. August, it is said that one should avoid going to Artemis in August and December and even July. Once I was there in July, but it was not that bad as I found Joy, kimmi, coco there then and I had good time with them, but it was really in and out like girl come in for 4 days and they are gone, new one comes in for few days etc. I think August, December and even mid November on can be low on line up as I mean we cannot expect them to work all the time, they got family back home too. I personally avoid these season as I travel long distance to goto Artemis. I do not like Artemis in winter time, it is hard to stay long there in winter for me;. (Plus as years goes into end and when new years begin. Line up is not saturated. From spring on it is best.
Other than that, I hope for my visit next year, I wish Artemis will put new big more younger line ups, it is just my personal wish. Until then, I hope the forum will be noisy and fun to exchange information. I do miss alot of old line ups. There are some left like Marketa but alot of good ones are gone and new ones then like Ivi is becoming old line up for me which is kinda nice.

I wouldn't worry about your size. You routinely see very large men enjoying themselves in FKKs, so you won't be the only one or anything unusual. In fact, a commonly-used term "polar bears" for FKK mongers refers to these ample frames in their white robes. Don't wear anything else as that's the thing that would make you stick out as a rank newbie. Just be yourself and enjoy. Try a session in the downstairs kino with a bit of an audience!
Your money goes in a small locker near reception that's keyed the same as your main locker (you wear your key on a wristband). You go there with the lady after a session to settle up. Don't forget to collect your wallet when you leave (something reception usually reminds you of, but perhaps not in your native tongue).

You are not supposed to wear anything underneath, but the robe will cover it all and you can do what you want.

This safety deposit box is just up the stairs from the reception area and this is where you will leave your money, passport, watch and other valuables. It's at this safety box area where you will pay the women when you come back from a session.

If I had to guess, I'd say that having a white undershirt under your bathrobe shouldn't be a problem. (And if it turns out it is, you would just be told to remove it.)
As for the bathrobe size, as Delta Indigo said, they should have big sizes available. However, the most comfortable solution for you (or at least to clear your head of the worry) could be to simply bring your own bathrobe!

I wish they let us wear our own clothes. But I guess when in Rome.

Thinking about this the past few days, there are some bits about the Artemis model that could use some daylight. I have been struck again (very recently) by the sense that, on a pure "performance & experience" basis, I have a better time in the private apartment bordellos. I would like it if they make one club or turn artemis into club like The globe in Zurich.I find this amazing. I have been to Globe in Zurich a few times and was usually very disappointed there. If you want Artemis to change to be like Globe then maybe you want:
1) Massive price hike for us punters who have to pay the girls twice as much.
2) A system where the locals can call in advance to book all the best girls so that you never see them on the floor of the club, the lesser girls are the ones who are available.
