These tie together. I've seen WGs get mad because they aren't working at the time, but rather just chatting w/ friends and what not. But honestly, you probably have that special Batsense for seeing who's a WG, and few people get mad if you're friendly and strike up a conversation.

While a gal may be a WG, she may not be working and may not appreciate being approached because she may be with family or friends or the boyfriend who pays the rent who either doesn't know she is a WG or thinks she is an ex-WG and not working anymore. I know many that only work if they don't have any money in their pocket and spend their time playing majong or in a Cyber Bar until their money runs out.

There are such things as part-timers and the only difference is that they don't show up for work on weekends when the Hong Kong guy who pays the rent is in town. An example is KTVing in Sa Wan, if you go during the week there a lots of hotties (8+ range) who never work on weekends or at best do ST on Saturday afternoon.

I have been out of action for about 3 years.

From reading the forum, seems like lots has changed in Shenzhen.

Now looking forward to a couple days in Hong Kong / Shenzhen area.

For convenience and consistency at reasonable value, which is better; Shenzhen or Hong Kong?

Is there anything like K-Pressure in Shenzhen?

What is my best bet in Shenzhen, Seibu or Suana (location?) or Shekou or WG (location?)?

Hong Kong prices are higher, but several ‘sure thing’ options available.

Don’t mean to stir up too much fuss over this post, but appreciate a relative pro/con of the two areas from current mongers.
Of course I will continue reading the forum and will post a report after my trip.

There seems to be a crackdown in effect in Shenzhen so you would be better off in Hong Kong for a sure thing.

And for things that are similar to K-Pressure, you pay the same if not more without the LE risk.

HK is more convenient: easier transportation, English much more widely spoken.

There are tons of saunas in Shenzhen. Usually lasts longer than the 45 minutes you get at K-pressure and Dundas.

Depends on what you want.
Seibu/pink apartments BBS: ST is the wham-bam-thank you Sam (Samantha) variety, but cheap 100-150 rmb (although it's usually a hassle to get these prices for non-chinese).
Sauna: luohu has them, or in Futian (near Jusco mall)
Shekou: I will repeat, girls there on average are much uglier and older. Pro: they cater to foreigners so there is at least 1 person in the establishment that will speak enough English. Watch out for big ripoffs in the girly bars!

As in which area is better, HK or Shenzhen/DG... let me put it this way. Hongkies go to China for mongering, not the other way around.

EDIT: as Bob Builder pointed out, there seems to be a pretty severe crackdown going through southern China at the moment. Nobody knows why really (60th anniversary of communist China?) or how long it will last (3 months?).

Couldn't agree more. Outside of working hours and location most working girls are not happy to be approached and treated as one. Examples: when they are getting their makeup done in one of those little shops, or when eating with their friends. The exception is if she is desperate for business.

From what 1 girl told me is that she would have to pay a mamason regardless whether we got her on our own or not so there would be no real reason to by pass the mamason. As long as the girl is working in Seibu area then she has to pay someone whenever she gets a customers.

I would just like to go to the internet cafe to see if there is any girl that I like, if I see one or two, I would then come down and get hold of a mamason who will approach her for me. I just don't like the attention with the mamason pulling every girl to me in order to ask if I like this one or that one.

Even if the gal decides to come out without paying the mamasan, it is not going to be any cheaper as she is wanting th keep the mama's cut for herself but you are only going to be able to do that by doing repeat business with 1 gal and not within her normal working hours.

Yes full service is offered. It was the special massage I mentioned. It was around 350-360 RMB from memory. Some of the other sauna's did not offer any extras even HJ in the area. Look for the flyer being handed out. If you see any sexy girls partly undressed or very suggestive it will offer action.
I just gave a hand job signal when pointing to the prices on the menu for confirmation.

I recently came back from a trip to both HK and SZ. I recommend both but depends on what you are into.
I went to the bars in Wanchai HK chatting to the girls, I few I fancied I took home, the others cheap entertainment and nice talking in English and listening to some good bands (Amazonia) It's expensive way to do Thai & Filipina's but I enjoyed it. I have been to Sauna's before in HK but they can be expensive and my experience is if only after a HJ you will get a crap massage and upsell all the time.
The other sure things are K-Pressure and 141.

In SZ the main attraction is the prices. 90 min FS for 350 or 120 min HJ for 138. The girls will be higher quality for the same price.
Hover if you can't speak the language patience is a virtue. If it is going to frustrate you that you can get exactly what you want and you don't know how to explain it to them then you might want to stick with a place where English is more widely spoken. In the Seibu area I was not able to get top quality, maybe I should have paid more or asked to see more girls. Since I did not get any approaches from mama's near where the girls hang out it was a 3-4 minute wait with only one in the line up. :-( The mama spoke some English so I could have had them keep on showing me more but the street action seem subdued and under some LE pressure so decided for the price what was offered was good enough.
I was also approached a couple of hundred meters from the Shangri-La Hotel. I did not go up to the apartments to look as was just window shopping and thought it might be hard to go away without buying. So I think action is guaranteed just selection might not be great at times particularly for non chinese.

Since it is only a bit over an hour away plan you trip around both. Go to SZ early in your trip so if you like it you can stay longer.
I also found it seemed safer in SZ compared to 7-8 year ago when I was followed by pick pockets, my girl had her bag snatched and there were a lot of beggars around. Still not safe like HK I guess.

I am fortunate to have a really good gal that comes to my place into give me a massage. She speaks decent English and is a treat to be around as well as cute. She brings a friend over as well, but no English.

It's a little early for the October 1 crackdown. In SZ, I think this is more due to the new mayor, who is determined to project a Mr. Clean image. He is also probably being pressured to do so from higher up, which would mean other Guangdong areas would follow suit.

The point of not going through a mamasan is that you don't have to listen to her incessant chanting about how sensitive and sweet the girl is, how nice her tits and body are, how friendly and committed to good service. I can check out the girl in my own time, and get a feel for her personality myself.

I'm bitterly disappointed by Hong Kong 141, and find the prices for the Wan Chai chick bars to be exorbitant, but know many guys that are craving something non-Chinese that venture to Hong Kong. Don't see the point of finding Mainland girls in HK though.

Things in SZ are sure tight, but as mentioned, a couple of the well known BBSs are still in operation, just have to be covert.

I passed thru Seibu area this afternoon and talked to a mama. All of a sudden all the gals scampered for cover in the makeup shops or up open building stairwells. Didn't see who spooked them but was probably an undercover LE.

Just be more assertive in dealing with them and they get the message if they see you around alot and want to do repeat business. The ones I would use just stand there, shut up and wait for me to pick. Then I ask about the service I want and if it is going to be provided. I have sent ones back empty handed if they don't do what was promised so they know the score. Walked around XXC at around midnight and the place was packed with more Bao An than I'd ever seen before. The actual alleys were pretty desolate. Saw maybe 10 girls total inside the area, but saw many more WGs that I recognized in the surrounding restaurants and the like. Heard my name called out by one of the WGs I'm not great terms with, but wasn't very keen on doing her for whatever reason. Decided to head to Hu Bei Xin Cun by foot.

On Shennan Rd, next to the Guangshen Hotel I spotted V Box Club which was just packed with people. Decided to go in and have a quick drink, saw a good party atmosphere that's a bit lower end than Babyface. Lots of girls that are semi-pros from the local area, had a couple of the chicks come over for drinks and chat. Milked a girl for a while but she wasn't very keen on going straight home, saying she's not that type of girl, but hinted that she could be convinced with the right offer. What to do now? I finally get some time to enjoy the local talent and it is all going to dry up! I also read a similar thing is happening up north. OMG. I throughly enjoyed my trip to Beijing last month. I hope they don't all run home. Or at least return.

Oh well, American football season is coming soon, so that is something. I haven't been to Chicken or Turkey street in a while, I suppose they are done as well? Goin' to be a long dry fall.

If you want to spend money then go to some of the high end club or ktv in town ,you can sit down and have a drink with the girl and interview them in private room before you pick them ,going to bbs is just a quickie in and out experience and is a big hit and miss and yes big chance there will be a raid .

Hiya, I'm asking my quarter-year question on cheap HK/soapy wank shops. I've been attending one for the past 6 months (near the golden lu hotel), which is about a 30-40 min walk from the main train station. It's ok but I'm again missing having something closer (there used to be a couple of these shops in the pink apts area). The cost is still only 40 RMB for a quick massage and decent HJ from a usually cute-ish 20-yr-old. Anyone seen any of these shops nearer to the train station that they can report on?

But last weekend I saw talent walking up and down quite a long stretch, from Sea World to Mama's, so the girls are still there, they are just 'on the move'. Here's a couple of pics from a recent trip. Yep, I was lazy and did the escort service thing. I'm not quite up to wondering about town late at night just yet. Perhaps in another trip or two.

Both looked on arrival, pretty much like the stock pics send in advance. Much better than the new hire from my June trip.

Still. A lot of similarities. All business. Neither were shy about getting started and were doing all they could to get out the door once I was finished. I don't know what it is about SZ ladies, or what I need to do differently. I just know the experience is a lot different with a 30 min drive over to HK. This is definitely an area where China has a lot of room to grow with the technology.

Just curious how much they cost? IMHO, the down to business and the hurry to go after the deed is typical of big city ST service. They are keen to get back on the market. If you want them to take their time, you need to negotiate the time period upfront and insist that they slow it down if they start to rush things which most will do anyway.

Part 1

So it's my 2nd day here in SZ and I'm doing all things you need to do, exchange money, get a SIM card and the guy I'm sharing the company apartment with tells me that he might be bringing home a lady friend this evening after being out all day with her so I figure that I need to get the hell out of dodge so neither she or me gets embarrassed over the whole thing.

What to do...don't really know enough yet to get around but I know, I'll head down to Seaworld and have a few drinks and do some people watching. Get in a cab and call the company office manager (who is kind of supposed to look out for us North American's when we come into town) and tell her that I want to go to Shekou Seaworld and pls tell the cabbie where I want to go. Cabbie nods and and starts heading to Shekou. 15 min later, cabbie makes a left off Nanshai Rd and I end up on a street with about 8 or 9 bars and a bunch of WG's hanging out in front like it's Thailand or something. I ask if this is Seaworld, cabbie nods yes even though I don't recall properly, but I think I see the big ship down the road so I get out.

I get out start walking east past the bars and I'm thinking, great now the Office Manager must think I'm a dog. A quarter way down the bars I get mobbed by 4 mommies. Each one grabbing my arm and trying to pull me in their bar. I'm telling them that I wanted to go to Seaworld and that I'm here by mistake. One of the mommies speaks pretty good english and says, "no problem, you buy one drink first and i tell taxi take you!" At this point, I'm thinking I've never heard of this place on the SZ board or I missed it and I don't want to get robbed the first night I'm out and make a newbie fool of myself so i insist that I have to go, I have to meet friends and I'm late. I can barely lift my arm to call the next taxi and finally I make it out. I did notice a real real cutie standing there watching the mobbing and I say to myself, "hmmm"...anyways, off to Seaworld---which ended up being north on Nanshai a couple of blocks---16 rmb for 2 blocks, Crap!!

Walk around for bit and notice the SW's (so the board IS really accurate not that I doubted it) then I decide to go into the Terrace. Order a draft and park myself at the bar to assess the scene and after a few minutes I figure it out. Locals, expats there to have fun, some of the expats bringing in or looking for chinese chicks, a few chinese WG's and a trio of Filipinas and about 3 E Euros/Russians (which surprised me) working the scene as well but none of them struck me as really hot and they didn't seem to be getting many queries. I strike a conversation with a few of the people there and share a drink but I'm just trying to kill time. I figure 4am is late enough to go back and sneak in but I look at my phone and Crap! it's only 2. Well, I drunk about as much as I want to and although the Filipino band is not bad, I say to myself screw it, I'll chance it and see if that cutie I noticed before is still there back at the other street.

I decide to walk as I needed the fresh air and I made it in about 10-15 minutes. When I get there, sadly, most of the girls are gone and the one I noticed was gone too, crap again so I'm going home, if only I could remember how to say it in Mandarin. The english speaking mommy walks out of her bar and recognizes me instantly. "You come for drink?" I say, "I'll come in for drink and you tell taxi how to take me home, deal?" She agrees.

I walk in and see an older guy and say Hi. I sit at the tiny bar and order a TsingTao. 25 rmb. I head into the back and realize it ain't even a room, it's bench with a curtain! Crap! Coco's trying to undress me as fast as she can. I say slow, slow, I want to take a few minutes to do a little foreplay, I ask for BJ, she says no. My mistake, didn't specify during the nuclear arms talks. So I try and get her warmed up. At this point, I know she either misinterpreted what I wanted or was never going to give me her butt after I got in the room. So I say let's finish because there's no way I'm going to be able to argue with her about what I thought the deal was, and she starts riding me cowgirl but she is telling me she's working so hard, the condom was so thick + I was pretty buzzing + I was turned off by then so I just tell her to stop because it would be a miracle if I were to pop now.:.(

I put on my clothes, and without a word or look to either the mamasan or to Coco, I slip the 300 rmb onto the counter and walk out. Sometimes it just don't work out and that's life. On the cab ride home, I'm laughing at myself. Well at least I have a story to tell and I helped scout out a possible new location. I'm probably thinking there are a number of satisfied lowai customers who frequent this street and so it may not be so bad a place because it is setup to be foreigner friendly. I have to admit, at least I'm understanding a little bit more about the type of experience I like as previously I was just taken to the KTV. I had an 'extra' day in Shekou this weekend, before my official visit to my gf. To keep things brief, I was walking through Seaworld on Saturday at around 945 PM, and a SW came up to me and started chatting in English, the usual 'You want massage...?' stuff. I was not in the mood for various reasons, but asked her if she wanted to walk around a bit. She gave me her mobile number, and I said I would call her next time I came up. She told me she is from Sichuan (like 60% of the WGs in Shenzhen) and that she'd been in Shenzhen for 2 years. She'd had a job, but had got laid off. Anyway, after saying goodnight, up I go into the Terrace, ordered a beer, and promptly got set upon by the local crazy lady... be warned: she's a secretary, very pale skin, high-pitched voice but good English, that night wearing a sexy red dress, bopping around dancing to the music by herself, and spending two hours sipping at her one (self-purchased) Bacardi and coke (I think she is well-known to the staff there)...All I did was smile at her, but she latched onto me, and after some chat I bought her a few drinks and a pack of smokes. Shortly she became more and more my best friend, and practically had her hand up my shorts when my mobile buzzed... it's the SW downstairs saying, There's no business, come and walk with me some more. By then I was tired, hot, and annoyed. I figured WTF, so I took Miss Sichuan back to my hotel. She was a decent shag, acceptable body, a bit too much fake moaning, etc., at the start, but she got more real and seemed to enjoy herself in the end. 400 RMB for an hour (she asked for 800, but I am no sucker), yes, it was pricey compared to the BBS (200/45 mins), but they are all closed now, and this girl was interesting to talk to as well. 1. What's a good hotel near the Seibu BBS? I expect I'll be spending around 300 400 RMB for a night. And I'm planning on taking any girl I want to my room. If my memory serves me right. Lao Di Fang (literally old place) is near. Is that place any good?

2. What are some of the sauna's you would recommend in the Luohu district? Price is not much of an issue here. Just want a nice environment that provides FS, drinks, smokes.

3. Has anybody heard of www.fun161.com? It's a website where they "kinda" organize all the sauna places in Shenzhen. Does anybody know how accurate it is? How do I know which saunas provide FS?

If 300-400 is your budget, Lao Di Fang is a great hotel. A bit cheaper would be City Hotel, which is right next to the Queen Spa, at about 200, and of course you can do the local hotels for <200.

Saunas in Luohu are pretty hard hit right now, and it's hard to say what is good right now... Honestly, go to CP, or check out more of the HK sources like man169.com forums. Fun161 is useless because they don't tell you which provide FS - I guess you could call them and ask? Hah.

Instead of on the other side of the street from the Shangri-La, just continue walking on the same side as the Shangri-La. You'll get countless mommies asking you if you want Liang Mei. Either street (the front or the back entrance) of the Shangri-La is fine, there's plenty of girls in the area. Note that they are all upstairs, and you have to go either go up to see them, or wait as the mommy calls them down.

YES - this IS a problem in China/Hong Kong and can get very messy especially with Er-lai's (2nd wives).

I don't know if this will work for everybody, but the last time I kept a gal, right off the bat and BEFORE I actually started keeping her as a mistress, I told her, amongst other things, the following conditions:

- I will pay for all accomodation expenses but the rental is under HER name as I certainly do not want any trail AND I certainly do not want to be stuck with a lease etc when the relationship ends. Of course I didn't need to tell her my reasoning - just for her to find the place and then sign the lease.
- I will pay the amount that she desires as her "rewards", BUT I will pay only half in cash to her and the other half has to be deposited into a bank account in her name - but which I want to see every month that such amount has been deposited into and left untouched.
- I insist on it being untouched - and if she touches it, I will stop paying into the bank account.
- I tell her that this bank account money is my PRE-payment for our separation fee. I told her that separation fees "negotiated" at the point of separation is something that is not only ridiculous, but when she, the gal is at a definite disadvantage as I no longer wanted her and thus there is no incentive for me to be still on her "good side."

My separation from her was OK... sort of.... as I had kept her for over 3 years and there WAs some emotional issues that both of us have never actually gotten over with.... even today. Oh well!!

Mainly it started because many pretty , poor women from the villages came to shenzhen looking for work. They were naive and jumped at a chance to be supported by somebody and send home some of the money. Later these women got smart and many had two three sponsors staying with them and even changing their sponsors. It was not a problem because the apartment was in their name and there is a law in the books saying all foreigners including Hong Kong residents can only stay at hotels.
Now Hong Kong citizens can apply for a chinese resident card because Hong Kong is part of China. Chinese residents in some cases can go to Hong Kong for study, business, tourism etc. Not all are allowed auttomatically.
There were many cases of violence against foreigners including Hong Kong citizens who had a live together arrangement with chinese girls. Ofcourse when the arrangement breaks the girl is left holding the bag so to say because she has never worked and has no way to support herself.
Although I had girlfriends I never had such a live in arrangement. Nowadays the practice of Hong Kong people having mistresses have been reduced dramatically because of all these problems.

Some guys are smart enough to know that she is exclusively yours when you are there but don't worry about what they do when you aren't. The best KTV girls that I see in Sa Wan are only around during the week and don't answer their phones during the weekend when their big boss is around.

I have a regular whose guy phones from Hong Kong every time I am with her and she tells him she is doing the washing, LOL. Its funny as she got upset as caught him out with another gal who was sending him txts calling him lao gong and even rang the doorbell of her apartment when she was there. She also introduced a friend of hers who is also a kept woman who wanted to be paid double what I pay her because she is "not a WG".

On the way out of town, we drove by the latter area you refer to and did not see any BBS open for business.

What do you think....??? To me it SEEMS that recent crack downs have concentrated MORE on venues/activities exposed to the foreign/Hong KOng mongers versus those traditionally patronized by the locals.

To me, it seems that China is serious about eradicating any perception that it is a sex DESTINATION, and thus cracking down more on "Foreign patronized" venues vs. previous efforts which had just been a general crack-down.

In fact, during previous crack-downs, I had "felt" that they actually went easier on venues that happened to also cater to foreigners. Now I THINK its the reverse.

Just a thought. What say you guys?

You are correct, I was in Shekou yesterday and there are still venues that are open, as you say the BBS on the main streets are closed, try the smaller bars and get away from the main stream areas. You have to be a little more unitive and look around the back streets, and get off the main roads.

Other than that there are other places to visit where there is still plenty of action available.

I think that crackdown this year is targeted more at street level activities (BBS, SWs) at least in Guangdong. Although they have attacked the saunas in Shenzhen (maybe because of new mayor), the KTVs and saunas in other towns seem to be left alone. It may be these owners have more money to pay and/or are less obvious to the public.

MY suppossition is that since China wants to "upgrade" its image to the rest of the International world, then they have started to crack down on sex services and activities that are also offered to foreigners. NOw we all know that these sex services/activities caters mostly to the locals, and that such services to foreigners is just frosting on the cake. And it is these venues that caters to both locals as well as foreign clients that are getting cracked down more severely. i.e Shekou - which basically caters just about exclusively to Foreigners, CP which caters 90% to Hong Kong and other foreigners, Shanghai and Beijing - which does have a large influx of foreign mongers.

Note that since foreigners do NOT usually go to KTV's, for the most part, these venues have not been affected by the crackdowns of late. After all, the locals also has "needs" PLUS the sex $$ still drives a large swath of the Chinese economy.

Foreign clients - relatively too little money for them to worry about, AND way too much BAD imagery for China.

Like I said, I "sort of" feel that there is a difference between the present crack-down versus those in the past. For one, it seems to me that the Government has taken pains to announce to the world that they are cracking down on vice in China this time around. May I also add that 'Health Risk' has been given importance among Chinese officials. Not just the 'incurables' such as AIDS, Hep C etc. but also the 'curables' which have become increasingly resistant to medication. Even 'Mass Quarantine' has been voiced.

Thank you for your concern but I am not "keeping" the girl. I am only giving her the standard daily P4P rate when I am with her. For that, she spends 24 hours a day with me. Don't pay too much attention to Jamie's reply to you. I suspect he's just having a bit of fun and yanking your chain.

Yes, Shenzhen and most part of Southern China CAN be wild and woolly, but generally still quite safe comparatively. I know that I feel a lot safer in Shenzhen than if I was in say, Union Square SFO - never mind the Tenderloin district! A bit of common sense and being aware of your surroundings is all that would be required here.

As to your specific querie - if you are non-Chinese speaking, I would suggest that you FIRST stick around the Shekou area as this area of Shenzhen is the most foreign friendly. Stay away from the "Suck-em in" bars there though as they are quite desperate these days and will sucker you into totally rip off expenses.

The Bar at the Crowne Plaza in Futian, next to the Windows of the World is a good place to chill and for you guys to TRY to pick women - hopefully freebies, but most likely paybees - as the clientelle is a mixture of both pros as well as guys and gals just out on a night on the town.

For a more "sure thing" - yes, a KTV would be an ideal venue. You could either follow some of the recommendations of guys here - or else even ask the Concierge at the Shangrila who I know is very knowledgeable and fully understanding of the "needs" of their Gentlemen guests. He should be able to not only make you the reservations, but also answer all your questions about the place he recommends. I generally wouldn't trust the recommendation of a staff of a Chinese or few stars hotels - but I've stayed at the Shangrila and was impressed by the professionalism of their concierge.

I'm not an expert on the City KTV scene as I live in the North were fun is cheap and not a big KTV fan so best to read the forum. There is a bit of a clampdown on so not sure what is happening at the moment.

I always have said Shenzhen is safer than the west so no problems but take care however One of my staff did get taken for a drag behind a motorbike and hurt bad a week ago when they tried to steal her handbag, but that was outside the SEZ bikes are banned inside for this reason. Recommend you have a password code just in case something happens but your pretty safe here.

Local girls love us but most are virgins and waiting or the one so I would not waste your time or the drama that comes with it. Stick to the P4P its easy and cheaper unless you make a large time investment or meet a sweet bar girl looking for a retirement plan. Remember to print any addresses in Chinese for the taxis and check the new Google Maps its great.

Its much better than Hong Kong anyway so enjoy your visit.

The few words in Chinese I used today gave me a totally different reaction from the people I met, they were about 100 x times friendlier than my last visit. Will keep alert. Shame there is so much drama. So many of the girls are beautiful. Still, makes great eye candy when walking about. Although my neck hurts a lot. Google maps is great. Just got on my blackberry + I have a wad of Chinese addresses wherever I go. And some of the taxi drivers still don't know where to go, so have to catch the next one.

I went to Shenzhen for a day trip last week. My meetings ended a bit earlier than expected, so I was left with nothing to do by late afternoon. As I don’t go to Shenzhen that often, I decided that it was time to experience what Shenzhen had to offer, despite some reports on the Internet that police had been cracking down.

I first went to the Wuzhou Hotel on Shennan Avenue, supposedly the hotel favoured by government officials. A couple of years ago I read in a Chinese website for mongers that there was excellent full service at its sauna, but I’ve never had a chance to verify such report. Unfortunately, after I got there, I was told by the manageress that they only offered straight massage, no hanky panky whatever.

Fortunately, I had done some research on the Internet and decided to try to Royalty Hotel at 199 Fumin Road, in the Huanggang Village region. It looked like a three-star local hotel, not very prominent, and I wasn’t really sure if it was safe enough. Anyway, I got up to the third floor (or was it the fourth, I don’t remember now), and was greeted at the entrance by the manager. When I asked him what other services they offered, he simply said that my masseuse would explain everything to me. The basic charge was 198 yuan, he added.

The sauna was clean and not luxurious. There was nothing really attractive about the decoration or facilities – they were just adequate. The whole place was very quite. When I got into the locker home, one guy was dressing up and getting ready to leave. There was no other customer in the shower area, and I could see only one guy at the lounge area. After a quick shower, I was led to my room.

My masseuse soon came, a tall and decent looking girl who seemed to be just about 20 years old. She was dressed in some sort of sports wear, with a T-shirt and short pants. I found her acceptable, and didn’t bother with another round. She told me she came from Guangxi, with the last name of Wei. Just like my mom.

Anyway, she started with a regular massage, and shortly afterwards I asked what services she could offer. She said she could do whatever I wanted, all for 530 yuan inclusive of the basic charge. I said that’s fine, and she suggested that do the deed first, as massage was really not her strong point.

So she phoned the front desk to ask for two cups of water, one hot and one cold, and then went out to get her condom. Soon, a very beautiful waitress came with the required supplies. When my masseuse came back, I asked if I could get the waitress to come in for some fun, and was given a negative answer in no uncertain terms. According to my masseuse, the waitress was still a virgin. I wonder who the lucky guy might be?

My masseuse then undressed, revealing her slim body with modest tits. She first gave me an ice-fire cat bath, followed by covered blowjob. There was nothing really fantastic about it, nor about the subsequent sex act, though she was quite sweet and hard working. If you are in Futian, you can try the Las Vegas KTV in the Grand Holiday Hotel. There is no 2/5/8 in SZ. You are looking at 3/10/15. They used to have very high quality talent but I've not been there in awhile. In Luohu, you have many, many options. Check Moody's posts for more information.

Tried to do some on line hotel bookings for SZ with the cheapy hotels around the SZ (LuoHu station)only. Trouble is when I was doing the search for LuoHu area hotels, some hotels were popping up saying they were in the LuoHu District near the Shenzhen station but upon further review, found it was near the Lok Ma Chau station in SZ and not LuoHu? the confusion is hotels claim they are in the LuoHu District and when they say near SZ train station, they mean Lok Ma C.
Q: Are both train stations in SZ actually in the Luo Hu District?
as I don't want to book the hotels in the wrong train station area.(One near action, the other away from it)

1. Probably closer to 20-25 minutes. You learn to walk slower after a while in southern China. Unless you want to be drenched in sweat by the time you arrive.

2. Last metro train is around 11 PM. Ridiculously early, since Shenzhen is not a city that goes to sleep early.

3. As Jamie pointed out, it is 国贸 (GuoMao) station. Or if you take a cab, tells cabbie it's 向西村 = XiangXiCun = XiangXi Village

You can take the subway from Louhu station to dongmen shopping center. After louhu station next is gua mao. after that next stop is the Dongmen shopping station. You can walk back to seibu area and will be about 10 minutes. From there to shangi la is about 10 minutes walk.

So the Dongmen Ped. street should be at the Lao Jie metro station , reason I had originally ask this question of how far as I was unable to locate Dongmen Ped. street on the google SZ maps. Does this street have a different name (and cross streets)?
this area is consider the SZ business district/near the Intl Trade Center, so should be an important st but unable to locate it.

Hmm, curious, just went to the google map of SZ to look things up and for reference as a starting point for my walks, I tried to look for the famous 5 star Shangri la hotel on Jianshe Rd in Lowu but the hotel was not even on the map? maybe some things are blocked but a hotel of this size and status should be on the map (did find alot of smaller unknown hotels though), strange but true. now if they could only put saunas on the Google maps all would be forgiven.

Forget maps.google.com for China. A big part of the border area is just missing.
Use ditu.google.com instead. Even there, the satellite picture doesn't always match the map (At least in the outskirts of Zhuhai I have experienced that).

And of course you can start a map and put the suanas.

I think he mean the KCR train station at Lok ma chau ,it is new only less than 2 yr but long walk from station to the Huanggang border ,I alway take the bus from Tsim sha tsui only cost 35 HKD it run 24 hr every 30 min take you to HK custom after pass custom on HK side another bus will take you to Huanggang border .

That border crossing is not useful for much unless you happen to live near the exit in Siu Wai or want to connect to the SZ underground. And I don't think there will be a Sky Limo there anytime soon as there is no Car / Bus border crossing there where people interconnect to places like CP. Anyway why would you want to drag all you luggage onto the MTR and probably stand on the train when you could cross the border in the comfort of a limo or bus.

The bus from Mong Kok takes you to the Hong kong border at lok ma . Drops you off to clear Hong Kong immmigration and picks you up on the other side to take you to Huanggong border. No need to take your luggsge from the bus at the hong kong border. At the huaggong border you need to take all your belongings to cross into China. After the immigration and customes there is a foot bridge which you have to cross before you can catch regular taxi. This border crossing is very inconvenient but open 24 hours. As much as possible use lowu crossing which is convenient. Even if you are going to other destinations there are plenty of buses at Lowu border. Only thing is it operates between 6.30 and midnight. I still do not know why they do not run skeletal trains and keep skeletal staff at night hours to keep this entry open. Considering the cross border traffic at Lowu it would definitely make sense even if they charge a small fee.

That is a different bus company mostly PRC with alot of luggage use this bus, The bus I use is a HK bus company forgot the name use mostly by Hk people, they have 12 rt from all over Hk most rider travel light, if you have a lot of baggage is better to use the train to Lo wu.

Dongmen Pedestrian Street is a shopping district consisting of department stores, supermarkets, shops and stalls. It is centred on two parallel pedestrian streets with several smaller streets and alleys.

To get to the DongMen Shopping area (Pedestrian street) :
1. Go to intersection of:
- 深南大道 = ShenNan DaDao = ShenNan boulevard (this is a long, major road in Shenzhen)
- 东门路 = DongMen Lu = DongMen road (This section of the road is sometimes marked as 东门中路 = DongMen zhong lu = DongMen central road)
2. From the north-west corner of the intersection, walk north about 100-200 meters. IIRC, there is a KFC on north-east corner, and a PizzaHut on south-east corner. The DongMen shopping area will be on your left-hand side (West side of the street)
3. You can as always take a cab, and tell cabbie to go to 东门商业步行街 = DongMen ShangYe BuXing Jie = DongMen Commercial Shopping street

Tips for shopping:
- most shops open from 10 am - 10 pm, 7 days a week
- for items that are really common in that area, if a low price is marked/quoted, usually no bargaining. Otherwise, don't be a dumb-ass, the first quoted price is rarely the final price in China.
- DongMen is mostly for clothes shopping (including shoes, bags, hats, etc). Don't buy electronics from DongMen, it's cheap there but they are all factory rejects and crap.

Lok Ma Chau is a MTR railway station on the Hong Kong side you walk over a bridge to the other side and it links to line 4 metro on the Shenzhen side.Its all new in the last year. The station was called Huanggang but it caused confusion as the other Customs station with Sky limo or bus services(i think 24 Hours) down the road 200m,That OAH refers too, had the same name. It has been renamed something like Futian kiouan most maps and websites still have the old name only the trains led displays have the new one. it has customs clearance(not 24hrs) and in handy for the exhibition center. It was almost impossible to get a taxi from the metro station to the sky limo one last time I tried wonder when they will work out to have a sky limo at the Lok Ma Chau would be a good idea.

Unless you really had too, why would you want to travel after midnight? There are 18 hours of the day that you can cross. Not sure if having the train running to Lo Wu for an extra 6 hours in the wee hours would make any difference. Just remember the train stops running to Sheung Shui around the same time and the cost of a round trip to Shenzhen from Hong Kong would eat up a lot of any savings you think you could save on rent or property purchase. There was a huge uproar a few years back when the HK government proposed a levy for crossing the border of about HK$100 per time.

If I really wanted to be reunited with my nieces in Shenzhen, I would make sure that I got there a lot earlier, LOL.

Many Hong Kong people are still adverse to going to or living in China (I have encountered Hong Kong people that think going to Mong Kok is dangerous) and there are many Hong Kong people that live in government subsidized housing, especially in the New Territories which is actually cheaper than buying or renting in Shenzhen.

Now they go to a bus? station/depot and you have to get out and carry bags through the bus station, through some kind of immigration/customs to a van on the other side. it was actually quicker..

I know the Shenzhen Bay crossing has buses to HKG. The last time I used it I was able to board the van on the mainland side and then they just took our passports and drove thru customs of both mainland and HK.
I do think it opens at 6:30, but have never tried before that time. The crossing is actually in Shekou or close to there. I am going over Saturday morning, so I guess I will find out if the policy has changed!

Anyway, had plan to be in SZ and CP but just found out my timing suck as it will fall smack on Canton fair time-timing can't be helped as only time I can take off from work. And with all the recent reports of crackdowns and closing of BBS all over SZ, I may skip China this year and just extend my time in Phillipines instead. (maybe I'll try again for China next year.)

You can cross at Man Kam To as there are buses from Sheung Shui and places like Tsuen Wan but it closes early around 9 - 9:30pm and only useful as if you are headed to near that part of town. But there are free connecting shuttle buses to other parts of SZ. Used to be useful in the past when the Lo Wu border crossing was undermanned and swamped on public holidays as not too many people knew that it existed.

Some tour buses go thru there so there may be a connection to CP, LOL.

Just in case the BBS places in Shekou reopens when I arrive( I'm thinking positive now). It seem to be center around the Fuzon hotel area from what I've read.

Not sure if you could reach these places by Metro but if it's possible, which would be the closest metro subway station to these places and about how far and in which direction (east-west) is the walk from the station?

PTThere is no Metro service to get to Shekou. I think the closest station that is currently open is the station near Window of the World (sorry, never can remember the station name) and even that is another 20 minutes by taxi to Shekou.
Don't know where you are staying, but probably the best/easiest thing to do is grab a taxi to Sea World in Shekou and walk back up the street to the BBS's.

If you are not staying in Shekou to begin with though, I wouldn't make a 30 or 40 minute trip there just to hit up some BBS's. You can definitely find that action close to pretty much any other major part of the city.

As far as I know, this all depends on the service you choose.

If you chose the VAN service, then you board a van in SZ and you stay in the van as it crosses both borders. If you opt for a bus service, then yes, you will need to cross both frontiers on foot and be picked up on the other side - either in a van (if there are not enough people for them to lay out a Bus) or a bus.

For those of you wanting a relaxing change to your border crossing travails, I'd like to suggest going thru Sha Tau Kok/Shatoujiao border - especially if you're headed for the beach resorts at Dameisha, the major container port of GD at Yantian, the golf and other facilities on the mountain of Overseas Chinese Town EAST, Daya bay (where the first Chinese nuclear power plant is), Nam O (the sea urchin capital of Guangdong) etc.

It takes an hour by bus from Kowloon Tong MTRC station, 30 minutes from Luen Wo Hui at Fanling and is a very relaxed, unhurried - almost rural - type of border crossing on both sides.

From STK - if you need to go to Luohu it's only 20 minutes or so by taxi (RMB 40 - plus tunnel fee of RMB 10, but you can tell the taxi driver to drive you thru the scenic mountain route by-passing the tunnel for mebbe only RMB 1 more in fare) or else take a bus for RMB 3 which you catch just across the street from the frontier crossing.

I passed through this crossing on a bus from GZ to HK once. Besides the bus I was on, there were absolutely no other people crossing the border. Went through in a flash.

The Wanchai to CP bus is actually only HK$70 - the cheapest way to go from Hong Kong side to CP and only takes 2 or 2-1/2 hours approx. Compared to the 1 1/4 hours from Hung Hom on the direct train it SEEMS a long time but not if you are on Hong Kong side as you need the time to cross over and get to HH anyway - plus of course it costs more than double at HK$145.

This route is also comparable to taking the local MTRC to Lowu, crossing over the border, and then hoping you get on a train to CP right away - as this method takes a mimimum of 2 hours if you're lucky and costs HK$38 + RMB 40 - plus all the hassles of going over the lousy Lowu border. (Note - if you're on Hong kong side, you'd waste at least an additional 30-45 minutes to get across to Hunghom anyway - and pay at least HK$10 (bus fare) additional.)

Just in transit and dropped by the Pink Apts across from Shangrila Hotel expecting to watch a parade of SW. No show and no one dared approach guys walking pass.

Some 300 were detained during a 3 hour raid which started 00:00 till 03:00 on Friday AM. Anyone dressed like a SW and possible Johns were rounded up. It was a special police force armed with weapons, not the ordinary blue/white. Also bicycle patrol remain very active along the lanes.

Mamasans would not even answer calls because they have nothing to deliver. Same with the Seibu area pink apts.

There is a bus service that goes to CP from lowu which leaves every 20 mins. I think it's less than 40 rmb for the train fare. It's in the big bus station after you leave the immigration building on the right hand side. There are alot of busus der and it goes to alot of areas including zhuhai.

Also for those that access the apple itune store there is a free download which has all schedules of all trains from Sz to CP, Zhang mou tou etc. And the cross border direct train fm hh to CP. It's call China hkg train.

Several weeks ago I rode the bus from Shenzhen Wan to Prince Edward with a middle-aged see lai, who, it turned out, works as an engineer for the Shenzhen Metro. She was going to a meeting in Hong Kong. (I was also surprised to learn from her business card that this is actually a wholly-owned subsidiary of the HK MTR Corporation!) She said the target date for the opening of the Shekou extention is sometime in 2011, I'll believe it when I can ride it all the way to the Nanhai Hotel...

Last night was out at one of the local watering holes in Sheloku. Was surprised to see what I believed to be a couple of cute Filippinas on what I thought was a visa run. I said hello in my best Tagalog, and was promptly told they were not from the Philippines, but Indonesia, my bad. It did however break the ice, they were in town until Monday, so I knew it was visa run. Asked if they liked to go to Amazonia, but she replied they prefer Neptune's, so I knew they are program ladies. About that time, a gentleman walked over dand introduce himself to me and promptly moved into position to block me from further conversation. I assume he had made some kind of "beverage investment" and didn't want me to reap the benefits of his "work". The girl smiled as me with one of those. "sorry, but I guess I better stay with him looks" and moved off. No worries, I wasn't really in the market, but would have taken that opportunity.
As I was walking around, ran into a girl (semi-pro)I had met about 6 mths earlier. The MTR from Hung Hom to Lowu is $38 and its easier/more comfortable/much faster to go on the train to CP - RMB 40 and 25 minutes instead of the close to hour on the bus.

BTW - I was on the bus direct from Wanchai (Hong Kong side) yesterday. left at 1:15, got to Huangang by 2, reboarded another bus at 2:15 and was at Hui Mei in CP at 3:05. HK$ 70 and less than two hours. From Prince Edward (Kowloon side) it would have been HK$60, and a return journey from Humei would be the same fare except in RMB.

Buses leave Wanchai at 15 minutes past the hour starting from 7 am to 6 pm - but you should get to the bus station on the hour to make sure you get on.

Where in wanchai do you pick up this bus? Is it in front of China travel agency next to southorn playground? Does this bus only goes to huanggang also?

There is a bus service that goes to CP from lowu which leaves every 20 mins. I think it's less than 40 rmb for the train fare. It's in the big bus station after you leave the immigration building on the right hand side. There are alot of busus der and it goes to alot of areas including zhuhai.

Also for those that access the apple itune store there is a free download which has all schedules of all trains from Sz to CP, Zhang mou tou etc. And the cross border direct train fm hh to CP. It's call China hkg train.
The bus station is across the street from The Wanchai Ferry pier next to Great Eagle center. Go to the desk underneath the staircase and not directly to the enclosed counter selling tickets to Huanggang and tell the gals there where you want to go to.

Actually you first get on the same bus that goes to Haunggang - but the gals will put a ticker on your shirt that has CP (in chinese) written on it. When you get out of the immigration China side, a gal should be there to direct you to the second or third store on your right (The EE bus company) and you board the next bus to CP there.

Ask your travel agent for a ticket from HKG or Shenzhen to either Bangkok or Manila. A round trip ticket will cost you less than $200.

Why waste your time here in China - its really not good time here and especially for the 60th Anniversary Ceremonies of the PRC. Girls, prices, food, culture and entertainment options are ALL better in Thailand or Philippines.

It's quite risky here in China these days. BBSs are closed but they open up a few weeks later, some change locations. It is not possible to eliminate P4P but it can be dangerous here in China. If you get caught you will be deported and possibly 'reprogrammed' before your deportation.

Just finished up in Shenzhen and am heading for a couple of weeks in Chengdu. Stayed at the Jing Peng Hotel and highly recommend it. I want to extend my "thanks" to all fellow mongers that inform others about what to be aware of while in China. I read the forum so I was well prepared for the "I want to practice my English, will you help me?", scam. Goes hand in hand with the tea house. I met a poor couple from Poland that got taken in with this scam in Shanghai. The KTV scam in my opinion is the most dangerous of all. You are taken to a brothel but it turns out to be a KTV. If this happens to you just walk out. Do not hesitate. Plenty of these KTVs are plush but it is all a set up. If you must visit a KTV go with friends that regularly visit their favorite places. Do not go alone.

I met a fellow from Switzerland and he told me about the rickshaw scam he experienced. He worked out a deal with a bicycle rickshaw driver for fifty RMB for a tour of a hutong. Half way through the tour the driver gets off and a different guy continues with the bike. After the tour the second driver will say that the deal is for 500 RMB! Look, if you ever have any problems with any of these people just say "O.K. let us get the police." This is what the Swiss guy did and it worked out fine. He mentioned that these scamers are afraid of the police. Besides, I have yet to come across a hutong that I consider a tourist attraction. Don't understand the attraction for tourists.

Because of the fine warnings on this site I saved myself a ton of problems. I did come across a situation where I was given a Russian 50 ruble note at a shop in Xidan. They are exactly the same size and color as the 50 yuan but have a Russian monument on it. So watch out for those bills.

I did have a strange encounter in Xi'an. I grabbed a taxi at the Blue Goose Pagoda but the guy did not want to take me at first. I had tried to find one for quite awhile. I continued to plea with him in English. He motions to get in. We drive until we reach the outer wall of the old city wall. He says something in Chinese and leaves me with the car running. I could not believe it. The keys are in the ignition and the cars is just parked on the side of the road. Then I noticed he made a rush to the restroom to take a leak. As I am waiting I notice he left about twenty 100 yuan bills in the map holder of the driver's door. Here I started to wonder what the hell was going on. I decide to play it cool. He comes back and takes me to my hotel. I pay him and thank him. He leaves. I just could not believe it. I thought for a moment that I might be getting set up. The guy did not even bother to count his cash when he came back to the taxi. Really strange.

Assuming you are a Caucasian foreigner the mama's and pimps know you are no danger to them if they try to sell to you. ie. you're not LE. So you will get the discreet offers near the hotel. I hate waiting for the girls and very difficult to send back if ok but not great as will have to wait another 5 min. Still I am sure you will find it ok. If you are after GFE it is a bit more difficult. Some have reported internet action with freebies or otherwise so that might be an option if you can find some to contact ahead of time.

So I got to the street that has queens spa and turn left and then I am on backside of the alleys. I tried to look back up in them to see if any mamasans sitting there. But I was not brave enough to walk back down any of the alleys. Just too much shit going on.

As I then walked to Mix C (yes far walk) I began to notice tons of LE. Like two on every corner. And lots of LE paddy wagons driving around with their lights on flashing. And lots of LE motorcylces riding up the sidewalks with their lights on. There is fucking LE all over the city right now. It is crazy.

Not good for mongerers in SZ. I have my trusty papasans mobile number. I am going to call him and see if he can deliver something to me.

I haven't been down to BaiShiZhou for at least 6 months now, so not sure what's going on there now. But it definitely has not been closed down for 4 years. The area I am talking about is about 500 meters from Crown Plaza hotel as the crow flies, but you gotta go around and around to enter the village so actual travelling distance is a bit further.

I used to live adjacent to the Crowne Plaza and was a frequent lurker in BaiShiZhou. I have not mongered there for about 2 months. On the recent trip this Saturday, all places were shut, rollers down. Perhaps it was too early in the day, perhaps it is temporary but it did not look good.

There is a fair amount of 'modernization' going on in BaiShiZhou these days, including some new piping/sewer works. It will never be an upmarket area so there should be some action around. Even upmarket areas have their share of P4P.

I had the feeling on my once through on Saturday that there were girls in the streets in the P4P game. You may get lucky this way, especially if you can speak Chinese as it is less obvious than in a pink light BBS. If you visit the former BBSs at night time you should have more luck with girls outside the gates. I found this before when a large BBS/brothel nearby the JiangNanBaiHuo was closed. It was very clear that the mommy and some of her employees were still operating out of the rooms upstairs but the 'retail' shop at ground level was closed and locked.

I suspect that most of these places will open up again when the heat is off. There did not seem to be renovation or construction works at most of them.

Mongering in BaiShiZhou was never for the faint hearted. The alleys are very narrow, the path is dirty, the air can be foul, sometimes disgusting, lots of dead ends. Every once in a while you come across a 'washing pit'. It is hard to imagine that clothes can become cleaner using the water here.

More frequently however, you used to be able to come across some pink lights or a BBS pole with a nice stable inside. The numbers of BBS I would say would be around 25 in total spread out in this town. You have to be brave and up for an adventure to make it through BSZ. Don't go with new shoes or your finest clothing if you want to walk here. Do your best to look like the natives.

I've never been offered at 35RMB HJ. In most shops I was able to negotiate between 100 and 130 for full service. On occasion I was able to do overnight at my apartment but it was rare. In some BBS, they girls were not interested in even talking to foreigners. Most girls tried to please, especially if they seen you before. Foreigners in this area are rare but not uncommon, I've met the odd foreigner who lives in the nicer parts of BSZ. I've even met some foreigners mongering here.

To me BSZ felt like a different country, maybe more like I imagined China would be like. Too bad it seems to be closed down for the moment.

There are 2 bbs area one you been to is the old village near crown plaza, this is a old bbs area I didn't see any actions 2 month ago is matter of time the old village will be torn down and rebulid for condo and hotel, there are another bbs area BSZ west down shennan rd newer area, about 5 yr ago we use to get service for 100 rmb is set up like the pink apartment area young freelance service mostly local very late night action and local rent out room for short time and split the money with the girl, but too much compalin by local resident they closed it down.

I used to live adjacent to the Crowne Plaza and was a frequent lurker in BaiShiZhou. I have not mongered there for about 2 months. On the recent trip this Saturday, all places were shut, rollers down. Perhaps it was too early in the day, perhaps it is temporary but it did not look good.

I suspect that most of these places will open up again when the heat is off. There did not seem to be renovation or construction works at most of them.

No, I had a friend who was a cop before retiring. Dogs are for intimidation of people. Seems some people will be more afraid of the dogs than the cops themselves, also with the dogs the size of the people won't matter as dogs can bring down anyone and if you tried to run--forget about it.

Everyone, any taxi or bus driver will know where BaiShiZhou is. From Shekou is it the bus stop before the Crowne Plaza.

Bai Shi Zhou is on BOTH sides of Shennan Road. The south side does not have any BBS. The north side does (same side as crowne plaza).

You can enter nearby the Holiday Plaza, just past the newly built lego looking buildings. I'd recommend that you go to the BSZ KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and walk down that road (I think it is called Sha He Jie), it is a busy road with buses taxis etc and walk maybe 400m to the JiangNanBaiHuo department store. If you come after dark, there are alot of street food vendors here, buy some street bar b q. Walk this short street with street vendors until the first right (after the fruit store). There should be a BBS in the small street to the right on the LEFT HAND SIDE. If the metal gate is shuttered it is closed. There may be girls or a mommy in this lane. This should be your starting point. There were very few if any BBS north of the Jiangnanbaihuo.

If there is nothing here you can continue your sightseeing by walking straight ahead and checking the small lanes to the left of the right.

Have fun, try to find the BBSs. I hope you get lucky. I hope you can find the used furniture street, several market streets, 4 or 5 washing pits. In better times you would easily find at least 20BBS spread out around the area.

Remember don't wear your finest clothes or shoes. Have fun and enjoy the area but always remember where you came from so you can escape if you need to. I always felt safe in this area but you are in a busy dodgy village. It is nowhere close to Slumdog Millionaire bad but it is among the closest to that that you can find in Shenzhen. The area is changing and as reported by others will be bulldozed and redeveloped in the coming years.

If I get the chance, I will try to make a map of the (former) BBSs in BSZ.

Bai Shi Zhou is not amazing, it was just convenient for me in the past, but as a sort of bell weather, it just shows how dry Shenzhen is becoming. There should be mongering in BSZ, it is a very densely populated area. Time to leave China for greener pastures.

BSZ will never be a mongering paradise but it should be a fun evening of adventure. You will not find much english spoken here but that makes it part of the fun. Lots of decent local restaurants and very cheap hotels and guest houses in this area.

You could also try DaChong, which is the area closer to Shekou one bus stop to the west. It has perhaps 10 BBS spread in its alleys. In my opinion BSZ was better.

GangXia area was shut down last night 9/9 by 300 police in a raid with 50 people under investigation. The police raided massage rooms, BBS, Fake invoice sellers, and internet cafes more details in the Chinese SZ news. Bit of a worry as GangXia area was well off the radar and don't think many people would know it that well and unless you are a true looks like there could be action there explorer type, you would never find the shops, apart from the subway exit one. They were mostly deep in the side streets and only for the brave, I did find and try a few but nothing worth noting in the forum. Of course I have noticed another quiet spot get busy the last few weeks as the main ones close down so maybe the action had picked up lately.

The japanese fusions resturant in the Coastal mall is new on L 5 open about 6 month ago ,it is the largest in Shenzhen and very expensive ,in the same level is tasty buffet one of the largest and most expensive in town also .the mall is located in Nanshan near beihai rd and Huihai rd.

This reminds me of a sign I saw 20 years ago in the old Guangzhou Central Railway Station. It was written in Chinglish, and gave a long list of supposed traveller's rights. If you had a complaint, you were to call the "Telephone of Accusation" ;-)

I tried a different route for Sat night. I joined one of those dating sites to see if I could get one or more ladies interested in meeting me. No overt attempt at a sexual encounter, more like starting an investment in a potential repeat freebe for the future.

This young lady replied and was interested in meeting me for dinner. Dinner was nice, good conversation and such. I learned more that I really wanted about her. She had that sometimes forceful Chinese lady personality that asks a lot of hard, direct questions. After dinner, she seemed interested in a drink. So we went to an open air joint where she knew some of the staff. Nice enough.

Conversation drifted between learning more about her, her work history, and what was happening at the restaurant/bar we were at. She was a wine drinker, so the tab quickly grew. She sure could sock it away.

Decided to move the show down the road to a less expensive location. There, we split 3 bottles of wine (we, actually, she did most of the drinking) Into the 2nd bottle, she was really starting to become wiped. Saying the same things over and over again. I could not help but be interested to see where this was going to go.

The 3rd bottle was a to-go bottle as we headed to my room. It was now about 3am. I was tired as hell and had another apt in the morning (another date site respondent). Miss Sabrina kept switching from a shy Chinese lady, to a drunk aggressive wanting to drink more and get her hands on my meat. It was sort of strange. After 5 or 6 failed attempts, I decided the best course of action was to simply get some sleep and see what if anything could happen in the morning when her better senses returned.

She was incredible. Snored most of the night, kept waking me up for this and that. Morning time, I woke up, got cleaned up. She didn't budge. I finally nudged her at around 10 saying I had to go. She was not a happy camper. She did parade around the room for a while looking for her clothes asking me repeatedly, what happened the night before.

I hadn't had the drunk whale experience in quite a while. I'm not much of a whaler it turns out. She wrote me several times the next couple of days apologizing again and again. Who knows. Perhaps next trip to SZ, I'll find her again and get that freebe I was after all along.

Her English was quite good. We went for a walk in that area. Had a nice hot pot lunch that I'd never have tried without someone local. Afternoon. We hit Starbucks (it was damn hot) to cool off a bit and talk. Interesting lady. Not the greatest looks but quite nice personality. After, the previous nights exercises were getting too me. She offered to take me to a massage/spa type joint. Wow, what a difference when you've got a Chinese translator. I think the whole thing was under 300RMB. That included entry for both of us, a nice 2 hour oil massage (that was pretty decent), including a under cover tug job in exchange for a 100RMB tip. I figure, what the hell. My last trip, I never paid less than 300 for the massage alone. 300 included some snacks, a few drinks, 3 hours in the spa with a happy ending.

On the way out, she complained why did I tip the massage lady so much. I said that if she rubbed your balls for 20 minutes, you'd have tipped her too. She laughed. A bit more walk then onto dinner. A funky sushi joint. Not the greatest but the price was right. All you can eat for 70rmb.

She walked me back to the train station and off I went, back to my hotel. Overall. A good experience. I didn't expect all that much other than company for the day. Perhaps a bit of email between now and my next visit and I'll have worked my way into some premium service. Forgot to mention. She mentioned that the last time she had a boyfriend was 7 years ago. I asked how she managed that long without sex. She said this was China and you learn to live without. I figure next visit. I'll work my magic to get her to explode and let some of that built up energy release.

So yesterday I wanted to do a walk through of louwu to see how bad it has gotten. I got off the metro at louhu stop. Came out by train station, walked to shangri-la and then down the street towards cafe de coral. I did not get offered one massage. NOT EVEN ONE. I am tall white guy. This never happens. So when I get to cafe de coral (BTW it is closed for renovation) I then turn left and keep walking down the sidewalk back up towards king glory plaza. This area of the cafe de coral corner is usually mms central. And it looked like there were a bunch of them there, but there was some guard with a yellow shirt on and arm badge walking on that corner. As I continued down the sidewalk I noticed another guy with a yellow shirt and arm badge. So no more offers of massage. So I go straight into the dirtiest street in SZ in front of the pink apartments. Nothing there either. No offers. I then walk over to Seibu bbs alleys. There was a big LE standing at the corner to where you walk down to the alleys. And he was eyeballing me all the way down the street since here comes the big white guy. Haha.

So I got to the street that has queens spa and turn left and then I am on backside of the alleys. I tried to look back up in them to see if any mamasans sitting there. But I was not brave enough to walk back down any of the alleys. Just too much shit going on.

As I then walked to Mix C (yes far walk) I began to notice tons of LE. Like two on every corner. And lots of LE paddy wagons driving around with their lights on flashing. And lots of LE motorcylces riding up the sidewalks with their lights on. There is fucking LE all over the city right now. It is crazy.

Not good for mongerers in SZ. I have my trusty papasans mobile number. I am going to call him and see if he can deliver something to me.

Louhu is bad? I was in SZ about a month ago, when everybody was screaming crackdown, but was able to find plenty of places. I cannot recall the exact location, but search for the post made by Tequila Kid in the same forum. It contains an attachment to what you want. Map out the area with google map and just walk around there. You don't need to be in a dark alley to see the shops. Pick up your cell and CALL the places on these advertisements and ask if they speak English. I'm an American that looks like a local, so exploration was easy for me. One of the best parts about these saunas is the MASSAGE that's offered. When you buy full service, some will give you 1-2 (! ) hours of free foot and body massage. If I remember correctly, I only paid 390. BANG FOR THE BUCK. Don't go to these places during the day, due to limited selection.

Here is a hotel that I always stay at. It is in a good location, 5 minutes from Dong man which is a big shopping area where you can purchase just about everything pretty cheap. Close to a MCD and KFC, there is a seafood street just in the back where you can eat seafood pretty cheap. 10 minute walk to a Wal-mart. There is even a back door where you can take the girl back without going through the lobby. Make sure you stay on floor 11-16 where the rooms are nicer. Should cost you 260-300rmb per night with free wi-fi. If you are going to be there Oct 1-7th, you need to book now since all the hotels fill up very fast.

Had a very weird experience after a buddy recommended that I check out an online site in SZ for girls (szparty). It was a lot more straightforward than I though. Ten minute walk to Dogmen shoping area on one side and another ten to the Starbucks on the other side. Very centrally located.

That famous legit upscale Queens spa is just around the corner. I would suggest you try it.

Reception don't speak english but a lady in the travel agency two meters away does. Might call her for you. Better to book them through a travel site in order to be certain of your booking.

I am in Shekou for the third time and i am starting to understand how the beer bars work here now.

The bars are situated along the road that runs to the NanHai hotel and also in small back lane very close by.

The lady drinks are 40RMB and the normal drinks such as beer are 25RMB. As long as you pay for all the drinks as you go then you should be fine and have no problems, there dont seem to be any hidden drinks. Be very firm that you only want to sit with one girl and dont let them hassle you into buying drinks for all the girls. It only takes one very firm NO and they get the picture. Actually once you start asking to pay for each drink one by one then they know that you are aware of what is going on and will keep things straight.

The system seems to go like this:

- Sit at the bar and buy a drink for yourself and the girl will sit with you
- Buy a drink for the girl and you can touch her up and she will rub your knob a bit
- Buy another drink for her and she will take off her Bra and let you fondle her everywhere with not much limit and will rub your knob heartily.
- Buy her another drink and she will ask if you want to go into the back room where she will take off all her clothes and start giving you a hand job

I checked my credit card charges. Paid 192 MRBs total for entrance and a footsie massage plus tip.

I spent about 4 hrs there using their jet pools, saunas, steam baths, watched a film, had a lot of free fruits and juices as well as ice cream, as you say, and lots of other amenities. Not to mention that I met and chated with a couple of girls and learned a lot from them about SZ. They were chinese english teachers.

Not sure on your Chinese level but if you speak English you will have no idea were the extra facility's are in the Queens spa it's confusing which is male and female only areas, maybe I got the wrong day but no one spoke English. I was quoted 2000 at the start for a legit full body massage which dropped to 800 as at 2000 I was not interested nor at 800. 192 Rmb total cost for a foot massage with fruit and low end ice cream is not good value in Shenzhen, not many places charge an entry fee, and I would say the place was dark and average to below for China not on the luxury scale. The place I recomened gives you a two hour full body massage with nice Chinese girls almost GFE one gave me 3 hours for no extra as they do not see as many non Chinese for 200 and is as clean if not cleaner. Has a great spa sauna and not so busy. I do not use it unless I wish to give clients a legit Shenzhen experience which they think is great without the risk of a CEO getting locked up,as there is much better and cheaper service we like in Shenzhen. My point is Queens spa has been my worse legit experience in Shenzhen spas I feel overrated and Ive been here 3 years, you can find better just trying to help.

Sorry, but in 3 separate visits in one week with 3 different girls, I did not fail. The fixed assets in that case were small things like jewelery. Gold jewelery.

The massage girls who won't get on the game can still afford to live in SZ because they are housed in unairconditioned dormitories, and fed slop, by the management of the massage places. So, if they are willing to sweat and be undernourished, their monthly expenses can be quite small, and they can send most of their pay back to their families, or their lazy-ass husbands, as I know a few cases of wives who've been sent to SZ to work in footies as an effective way of parting the ol' ball and chain.

What this means is that the offer of a decent meal, and a night in an airconditioned hotel room with clean sheets and only 2 people using the bathroom is a kind of paradise for these girls. It's like Bertrand Russell's old conundrum, "At what point of starvation will you trade your right to vote for a bowl of rice?"

I went for a half-day meeting in Shenzhen last week, just a few days before the National Day. Taking advantage of this opportunity, I got to Luowu at about lunchtime, and headed straight to the Carrianna Place on Renmin Nanlu, just a few blocks beyond the border with Hong Kong. Before getting there, I had done some research on a Chinese sauna website, and concluded that this place should offer more than just sauna and massage. I was, of course, aware that entertainment establishments all over China had to lie low ahead of the big day, but somehow I felt it would be okay at Golden Beach.

Golden Beach was located on the third floor of the shopping arcade, quite easy to find. As soon as I got there, I was shown into the locker room, where I changed and locked up my stuff. The whole place was nicely decorated, but not really luxurious. The important thing was that it was quite well maintained and clean.

The locker boy told me that they had VIP rooms with shower facilities, and that’s what I wanted. I therefore didn’t bother with a shower in the public area, and followed the manager into my VIP suite. Both the locker boy and the manager tried to sell me a VIP card, but I didn’t fall for it.

This is written in regards to the Zhu Hai report about a missing laptop from the Guo Tai Hotel. Theft is rampant in China. On my last trip to Maya City Resort Spa and Sauna, in Luohu district. My friends and I had stayed there to relax after mongering in Shenzhen. We spent about 4-5 hours, getting a deep tissue massage and had some fruit and watched some TV.

However, when you first come into most Sauna places or Spa places in Shenzhen, you have to change and you get a key for your locker, which cannot be opened unless you have both your key and the attendant's keys to open the locker simultaneously. However, on this particular trip, my friend ran out of money and before we got into the spa, I let him borrow 500 RMB, he put it into his empty wallet. When we showered and came back after 4-5 hours of relaxing, we got dressed and we went outside and were paying our bill. However, my friend opened up his wallet, and he only had 400 RMB inside. I specifically saw him put my 500 RMB into his wallet, I counted the money twice before I lent him the money as well. So, I'm guessing some of those attendants have ways to break into your locker and steal personal belongings. I would try to bring as little as possible into the any spas or saunas in China. You just never know what's going to happen. Everyone in China has different tricks up their sleeves, and I don't want anyone to regret it when it's too late. Sure, it's 100 RMB, but what if you brought in your laptop, or important documents?

Better safe than sorry.

I’m not exactly sure what part of the city my hotel is in, Central or close to Central I think. I’m staying at the Lao Di Fang, 1033 Dongmen Road South. I'll be here 5 days.

I arrived yesterday afternoon on the train from Guangzhou, checked in and then walked around while it was still light so I could get my bearings and get something to eat.

It's more likely you will be deported with a stamp on your passport. There were a few examples during the Olympics and for the 60th Anniversary.

Didn’t really need to do a search though because there were offers from handlers all over the place. They were out in front of my hotel as early as noon with more and more of them around as the day progressed. Late night it seemed that every other person was offering me girls.
The trouble for me was that I don’t understand Chinese. I couldn’t figure out who I would get, how much, how long, level of service, etc. I’d already had a little fun here so I wasn’t pressed to do more.

That place is Shui Fu New Village if I am not mistaken and got the area wrong and is really hit and miss. Do you mean East Lake Park? Over the past 6 months the shops have mostly been closed and you have to go up to the apratments. Last year there were quite a few hotties there but recently few and far between. Not really worth the effort if you can get to Seibu. A bit out of the way for most mongers and if you are Lao Wei you might as well be wearing a Shrek costume you stick out so much.

Hi y'all, this is my first time post in China forum so bare with me. Due to my biz, I find myself passing Shenzhen quite often, just last week I was in Canton fair, and spend entire time in Hua du, Dongguang, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
