Walking into Mirrors or Plan be intent on getting a hottie and not caring if you hand over 10-12 K is easy for many gents. Weekend warriors can spend 10-40 k in a bar in just 2 hours and not take a girl when he leaves. It would be very easy for him to drop another 8-10 k to grab a girl and go. Imagine if we could all agree on a 'going rate'. For example, 2 k for ST and 3500 for LT. If every gent held a line at the given price, then prices wouldn't rise. However, rising prices (as we've watched) indicate that there are groups of gents who don't stick to standardized rates. Recently we have seen a few reports of new guys spending $'000's on flights and accommodation only to have a not so enjoyable trip. Sure a bit more paid upfront but they would have gotten much better value from their holiday as a whole.

I beg to differ. One thing I've learned over many years in Asia is that foreigners are usually given the leftovers that local / Asian guys won't go for. Older / scarred / stretched / tattooed / mom of three, and at 10 times the price. This is how it goes.

I've often said that western mongers think that they are grazing in the best paddock but in reality, they choose from the lower middle levels. Too scared for a stroll down Tondo for the cheap meat and too hopeless to source from the true top end of town. (I include myself in that statement as well) 😁.

A young soapy star doesn't want to be seen with a 70 yo white guy for fear of the obvious connections being made, ending her career and social standing. Being seen with a local rich-boy or on his yacht is actually an ego boost.
