I am sorry to insist, but, in spite of my efforts reading back, as a beginner in Seoul I still feel lost: are those places reported in these days visible from street, or hidden inside the building?

Any explanation to move my first steps would be extremely appreciated. I will be working most days, therefore I may be free mostly at night, and I need to do my homework in advance to orient myself there.

Bonjovi3 and TacoYaki, to name two who are reporting well in these weeks, cannot PM. Thus, I have to try these "open calls".

In particular, how to find Hyugetels? Are they the barber shops with rotating poles? Or? Any hint?

I will be in Seoul for some 10 days in late May. I was there 17 years ago! I remember every night I was trying some of the few barber shops near Gangnam, but I do not remember how I came to know that the twin rotating poles did mean something. However, once I had discovered that "two white-red-blue rotating poles" in Seoul had a different meaning than in other countries, I found what to do after dinner. Every night.

Today, I started to read back the Seoul thread (RTFF before asking questions!) and I still have to find if "Hyugetels" can be still recognized by the poles, or there is a different way.
I hope to learn from best posters in this thread. Thank you in advance for any "beginners guide" you and others will be so kind to provide. I will do my homework reading back pages and pages, however.

I did a quick search and found a King what Po Thai Massage outside exit 1 of Hongdae Ipgu Station. The address is 마 포 구 서 교 동 동 교 로 22 길 1 (Mapo-gu Seogyo-dong Donggyo-ro 22 gil 1). However, the English language address doesn't work on kakao maps, naver maps, or Google maps so you will need to write it out in Hangul.

Directions: from exit 1 of Hongdae Ipgu Station Take the second right. Then take the second left. Go down three streets and it should be at the intersection on your left. Big orange sign on the second floor.

Looking at it on Kakao maps street view, I don't see the sign promising girls in their 20's. And I can't vouch for it even being the same place that Peanuts7 mentioned, because I've never visited, but it looks like a good match.

Give it a shot and report back. It's not in my immediate neighborhood, so I probably won't visit, but I'm still interested to know if it's a viable option.

I used to live in Korea 3 years ago and I finally came back earlier this year. Man this covid changed everything. It used to be easy to get pretty much anything, now it is so hard as a foreigner (I'm Caucasian). BTW, I used to love MVP-VIP. It was never the best, but it was a good enough place to kill an hour during a "lunch break" . However, I was greatly disappointed on my last two visits. Have seen this place for a long time, but finally tried it out. King Thai what Pho Massage, near Hongdae station. They have a sign out front advertising that all the girls are in their 20's, thought this seemed too good to be true or sort of like a trap, but I had to find out for myself. Prices are a bit expensive, but they have deals on a lot of the massage sites if you search around and make an appointment. Ended up paying 50 k for a 90 minute aroma, which was like 20-30 k cheaper than the price shown in shop. Took a quick shower, waited in my room for about 10 minutes until the girl showed up. She was straight up hot, probably early-mid 20's, taller, thin with big tits in a tight t-shirt and jean booty shorts. Easily the best looking girl I've ever seen in a Thai place here, maybe even better than some of the finishers at places like Jinju etc. Massage was nothing special, 7/10, a lot of teasing throughout. After the flip eventually asked if I wanted service, 40 k for standard he, 50 k with touching, 100 k for FS. Went with the 50 k option, she took her shirt off and lost about a cup size without the padded bra, but still decent size. Technique was good, she was into it and didn't rush.
