My general impression is that the international brands are more open minded and I will never stay at any indian brand hotels. I had the same issue with Taj Club House in Chennai and Oberoi in Delhi. This time I booked Westin and will report the experience.

That wasn't the case with Avasa at least till last year, it was one of the loosest places who would let in and let rooms to anyone. They were anal on ID barring which everything amenity was accessible.

Taj is very tight, its always walk of shame.

Me and my friends are Avasa regulars. Despite having paid for this weekend (Sat & Sun) for booking room at Hotel Avasa, we had to move out to a friend's place because the hotel staff created issues with guests, not just female but also male guests.
