Summary
There are two reasons why I am reluctant to remove photos.
1. Removing photos is extra work for me, so I don't do it unless there's a compelling reason.
2. Uncontested removal will result in abuse by various interest groups emailing me all the time requesting that photos be removed until there weren't any photos left. These interest groups include the usual suspects (religious fanatics, feminazis, etc.) and surprisingly enough also individual mongers who wish to discourage others from visiting their favorite playground.
Therefor, I've had to establish some qualifications and limitations on what photos will be removed from the forum.
Photos That ARE Eligible for Removal
1. I will remove photos of nude or partially nude women where their face AND their genitals ARE BOTH visible in the photo AND if the request comes from the original poster OR from the subject of the photos.
2. I will remove photos of any persons under the age of 18 years EXCEPT when said photos were taken in obviously public places (i.e. a street scene).
3. I will remove copyrighted photos that were posted without the permission of the copyright holder.
Photos That ARE NOT Eligible for Removal
I WILL NOT remove photos of fully or partially dressed women that were taken with their obvious consent.
I WILL NOT remove photos of nude or partially nude women where their face is not visible in the photo.
I WILL NOT remove photos of persons under the age of 18 if they meet the requirements of the The Relapse 1952 Rule, as follows:
The Forum does not encourage photographs of persons under the age of 18 years. Nevertheless, there are certainly many situations such as beach scenes, street scenes, disco scenes, party scenes, etc. wherein a photograph may include images of persons under the age of 18. Therefor, said photos will not be deleted if they meet the following conditions:
1. The photos are not pornographic by any measure.
2. All of the subjects in the photos are appropriately dressed.
3. The photos were taken in a public place.
4. The photos were taken with the obvious consent of the subjects.
There's just no reason for me to expend my limited time deleting these obviously benign photos.
If the photos you want removed meet one of these descriptions, then please DO NOT waste my time and yours by attempting to convince me to remove them.
Photo Removal Procedure - If you ARE the Original Poster
If you are the original poster of the photo(s), then please use the "Report this Post to a moderator" link at the bottom of the report.
When you select this link, the program will display a dialog box wherein you may enter your comments about the report. After that, please select the "Send Report Now" button at the bottom of the screen, and the Forum software will send me an email with your request and a link directly back to the report.
Photo Removal Procedure - If you ARE NOT the Original Poster
I need to verify that the subject of the photo is the one requesting that I remove it.
Please tell the subject of the photo to send me an email requesting that I remove their photo, along with a scanned copy of their photo ID. The ID must show the subject's face, although all the personal information may be redacted.
Upon receipt of this email FROM THE SUBJECT (not from you) with a copy of the subject's photo ID, I will immediately remove the photo(s).
However, if you are just some jealous boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, lover, ex-lover, customer, ex-customer, family relative, etc. who is trying to con me into removing this/these photo(s) for your own reasons, then forget it.
Photo Removal Procedure - Copyrighted Photos
I need to verify that you are the legitimate owner of the allegedly copyrighted photo(s).
Please use the "Report this Post to a moderator" link at the bottom of the report as described above. In the comments area, please provide your attorney's contact information.
Upon receipt of this report from you with your attorney's contact information, my attorney will contact your attorney to discuss the legitimacy of your copyright, upon which I will remove the photo(s).
Photo Removal Procedure - Underage Subject
I need to verify that the subject of the photo is in fact under the age of 18.
Photos of persons who are clearly and obviously under the age of 18 will be deleted immediately. However, this is a subjective decision and you should be aware that women from many cultures (specifically Asian cultures) generally appear to be somewhat younger in photos than their actual age.
Photos of persons who ARE NOT clearly and obviously under the age of 18 as described above will be deleted upon receipt of a scanned copy of their photo ID or a valid birth certificate. The ID must show the subject's face, although all the personal information may be redacted.
Upon receipt of this photo ID or a valid birth certificate, I will immediately remove the photo.
However, if you do not have any personal knowledge of the subject, and you simply believe from your own personal observation of the photo(s) that the subject is under the age of 18, then no action will be taken.
The Incidental Subject Rule
The Forum does not encourage photographs of persons under the age of 18 years. Nevertheless, there are certainly many situations such as beach scenes, street scenes, disco scenes, party scenes, etc. wherein a photograph may include images of persons under the age of 18. Therefor, photos meeting the following conditions will not be subject to deletion:
1. The photos are not pornographic by any measure.
2. All of the subjects in the photos are fully dressed.
3. The photos were taken in a public place.
4. The photos were taken with the obvious consent of the subjects.
