There is a service called WINGS by the only sarkari teleco, it's a voip kind of service at approx 1000 INR per year, never had any issue. Since it is VOIP service, SMS will not work.

Yes we all should stick to 6 k for 2 pops and she would come down automatically. Currently she is quoting 5 k per pop and doesn't want to reduce but let's control our horses and stick to a standard price.

Pinged her and she quoted 6 k a pop and my counter offer was 5 k for 2 shots to which she came down to 4 k a pop and finally agreed for 7 k 2 shots. I did not haggle much but am sure she would have agreed for 6 k for 2 pops too but 7 k is still a good deal I feel.

There's an Indian app called 'Doosra'. Gives you a new Indian number for nominal rates and you can use the app to listen to calls, see sms and such. We can't make a call from it tho. I've been using it to to create a new WA account safely. You can also try.

It has been good. Before using this, I've got blackmailed when some scammer found my facebook account by searching with my real phone number. After that, searched for a service like this. And have been using it since.

The only drawback is that you can't make a voice call. Just receive calls, sms and use the number for whatsapp and what not. I guess its more than enough while protecting our privacy.
