Has anyone been in Sao Paulo during Carnaval? Do some clinicas close during the Carnaval? My friends and I are planning our next trip to SP and we will avoid coming during Carnaval if some clinicas will be closed for the holidays.

I'm a clinica man and was in Sao Paulo during 2018 carnaval. I was in the country for 3 months. Had a blast during carnaval. Some clinicas were closed on some days while others had weaker than normal lineups and some had quite strong lineups. Bottom line is that there was still good action to be had. I liked the actual carnaval and parades, not as crowded as Rio and had fun seeing Brazilians enjoy themselves.

I may have to try seeking especially if there are more girls who speak decent English. I haven't meet many girls who can carry a good conversation in English. None of my current regulars at least. So, 500 r for a few hours with English speaking girls would be my sweet spot also.
