    7. Is the VIP worth it? My plan is go Saturday since people say that's when the most / hottest girls are there, but the idea of getting the VIP and going Monday / Tuesday at 80% off for the room is very tempting. Is the quality of girls that much worse during Monday / Tuesday? And if I go that route, would I be able to get a VIP card upon arrival, then use it on the room I've already booked? Or is it a I can only use it on my next visit type of deal?

    Girl?

Saturday nights are the absolute worst. Don't listen [Deleted by Admin] about all the hot girls come on weekends, they might come but never to be found. Every Saturday night I'm there I only see the uglies walking around and a thousand guys. Thursday nights are probably best but even Monday or Tuesday nights are popping with tons of hot girls working and not taken.

    9. What do you guys do for food? I'll probably limit myself to Azul and anything else in the immediate area, again not trying to venture too far.

Sushi ONE across the street from HK is your best alternative to Azul once you get sick of the same thing. Its super safe and tons of girls eat there during their breaks or after shifts.

Quick question for you guys: I'm headed to Tijuana for the first time tonight and don't speak Spanish. I'll be getting in at about 11 pm. I'd like to pick up some Viagra before heading to Hong Kong or Adelita's. Would you all recommend just cabbing to a pharmacy and asking the driver to wait for me? Which pharmacy would be good and safe that late at night?

Quick question. I am about to start choosing rooms for my first Tijuana visit, and I was wondering if smoking (mostly just e-cig / vape) was allowed in Hotel Cascada rooms? Also curious about Hotel Ticuan and / or Pueblo Amigo, but those look like high-end hotels so I doubt they allow smoking in the rooms. Thank you guys for your help! Greatly appreciated, my friends. Sincerely, TequilaNPussy.
Do what you want. Using a vape pen is OK. But importing a vape device into Mexico is illegal. Whether or not they'll do anything if you're caught is probably at the officer's discretion. You decide if it's worth it.

I'm in Ticuan right now and there's a card in the room says they'll charge you US $200 for smoking in the room, hallways, etc.

Appreciate the replies everyone! Thank you.

They don't mind in hotel Cascadas room, but in Hk itself, only ecigs are allowed to be smoked in there, no weed pens. Even though all the chicas are smoking weed pens haha.

I have seen people vape in Ticuan. Not sure if it is allowed though. Look into OZIUM air spray. Never travel without it.

I'm not sure about Cascadas or Pueblo Amigo but Hotel Ticuan is a definite NO when it comes to smoking. They had a fire there a few years ago and it's been no smoking ever since. I don't even think candles are allowed there anymore.

I'm standing in Cascadas lobby right now enjoying my vape. If they have any rules here they sure don't tell you about them.

Do the paid lots near the border fill up quickly?

How long might it take to cross into Mexico around that time, by foot?

How long back into US Saturday around noon, by foot?

    Thanks.
The parking lot referred to as Border Parking is your best bet, its just off to the right of the last US exit off the freeway. There is always room to park. It will run you about $30 or so a day on the weekend. My vehicle will be parked there tomorrow night about that time. You need a credit card and that will act as your ticket when you swipe it. It only takes about 15 minutes to cross into Mexico via Pedeast if you have a passport. Go past the vendors and across the street to a taxi stand. Give them about $5 and they will take you to the Hong Kong. On Saturday when you cross back its anyone's guess. Use the Pedwest crossing.

    Instant Passport

Following instructions they gave me over the phone, I went to the passport agency with a letter from my employer stating that I had business travel into Mexico several times a week. It jacked up the fee, but I had my passport the same day.

It also works if you can show them a plane ticket for travel out of the USA coming up real soon.

The best thing to do is go to a passport processing office and apply for a passport. They will give you a receipt that shows proof application. The US & Mexico immigration service will accept this as proof. I have heard where the Mexico immigration service will deny you entry into the country without a passport. This happened to a friend of mine. You can go either to SD county administration building downtown. Or the better option is to stop by the UCSD passport processing office. There is a much shorter line at the UCSD processing center. Be sure and check the hours since they both have fairly limited hours.

I have a friend who decided to come with me to Tijuana but he has no passport. He said it'll be fine he'll bring a birth certificate and ID. Will he be stuck at the border or just have a hard time coming back? I'd love for him to come but it won't be a good time if he can't get in or come back.
