What type of action is available in Juan Dolio and what is the beach like? I have never really figured that out and always end up in Boca Chica.

The problem is that I do not really like Boca. The beach is not clean and the girls are often too young or ugly. Of course, there are always girls (and lots of them!) from San Pedro de Marcoris, especially on the weekends, but the distance into the city from Juan Dolio and back is deceptive. There is traffic and the roads are not direct to the Malecon. It simply seems to take forever.

Finally, where did you stay in Juan Dolio? The last time I was there I stayed at an all inclusive, which made bringing in chicas complicated.

It's only a one hour taxi ride for 1500 pesos. There is not much action in JD, MG. It's more of a BYO place but as my buddy once told me when I was was looking for something "if it was a whoor you'd find it"! There are always bargirls and just regular chicas milling around or near the beach. I stayed at a place called Meridian this time but I don't recommend it. I usually stay at Caribe Paraiso. There are also all-inclusive options if you want to spring for them but they are usually populated by European whales. Good luck amigo.

In theory, I agree with rule #1. However, I once had a "no show" who showed up 10 minutes after my back up (girl #2) arrived. Girl #1 was over 2 hours late. The front desk let her through as she was one of my regulars. But she walked right in on us in a very compromising position.

Of course, I did not feel guilty about having abandoned girl #1 but I felt badly about girl #2, whose privacy had been grievously violated. Girl #2 was also pissed at me, because she thought there was more romance than actually existed. And I was incredibly annoyed by all of the drama.

At the moment I am planning a trip to santo domingo when the curfew get removed or adjusted to really late.

Here is my dilemma, right now I am not able to go on a monger trip for more than 2 to 3 days, which makes it expensive to go to sosua for just two days. Airfare to go to sosua is about $700 and to santo domingo it's about $350. If I spend 2 full days in DR I save already $350 by going to sando domingo, close to 20,000 peso. From what I read here 1 hour take out at a place like oasis is 5000 peso and 10,000 peso for all night. The flight saving from going to santo domingo allows me to have 4 sessions for 1 HR at 5,000 peso. Other options during the day could be GBP or maybe try my luck online but since I don't speak spanish it won't be easy to do the online thing.

What I want to know is how good are strippers as far quality and service. Are most girls in the strip clubs solid 9 or 10 when compared to sosua standards, and does the club expects them to perform well? For 5,000 I wouldn't want to hear leche papi after 10 min or being rushed.

And what are other semi pro friendly clubs or lounges I can go to with a solid chance to get a 9 or 10 for a reasonable price.

The curfew is definitely going to limit your activities. A vibrant is suppressed and options can be limited. Better get connected to some clandestine locations.

I was surprised to see it cost less here than there. But it was the same thing when I went to France looking to buy Cognac and noticed it actually cost more there than it does in the States. A couple of other comparisons: Paradis - My Liq $1000, Duty Free $2300. Louis 13 - My Liq $3500, Duty Free $2800. Just an idea for people that usually shop duty frees and stores in other countries thinking they are getting a deal.

My brother spent two years traveling all over the world convinced there was better out there. He finally came back to the USA. He tried doing the internet thing and working abroad and getting USA wages but there were things that were just too expensive in other countries.

I am not sure things are cheaper in the USA as much as the cheap stuff is better organized. I have gotten great deals from street vendors in Mexico for example, but you just never know when they will be where.

As for booze, the best prices I have seen have been in Mexican border towns and in the USA Virgin islands and not the duty free shops. I have laughed at how expensive shit is there.

If I were a drinker, I would get an empty bottle of Patron and fill it with the tequila they sell in a border town for $5 a gallon and see if anyone could tell the difference. I bet no one would.

But the main reason for the variance in cost is taxes, and the USA was trying to do as much free trade as it could in the past. So the appliances we bought that are made in China are 50% cheaper than a lot of places that have high tariffs like Brazil.

The reason people in Argentina and Brazil flock to Paraguay is that they just have a flat 10% import tax. To me then, Paraguay is an interesting place: really hot and cheap women, an aquifer with double the water of the great lucks, a hydroelectric energy surplus, low cost goods, and low cost of living. Besides being hard to get to, the other real problem with Paraguay is that it is boring as fuck.
