I was recognized on such a site.

Since this thread started I saw a girl on SA that I had already met through PL.

I also went to my home city Tinder site and was looking through the offerings in preparation for a trip home later this summer. Saw a former Sugar baby there. (much smaller place than Manila but still saw her and recognized her even with new pictures.).

Whether they are actually seen or not; why they say "long term" or "just looking" is so that they have deniability in case friends or family see it which is their fear.

I think they talk about it among eachother and then search for eachother's profiles to see what they look like. Or they even show their profiles to other girls.
Women share a lot more about what's going on in their lifes than men usually. And certainly in a family oriented society like the Phils.

Not everything in the Philippines makes sense. The fact that they have the fear of being seen there is sufficient for them to say looking for love, until they know that they are dealing with a foreigner.

Not regular girls from dating sites. For most pinay, the idea of walking directly into a stranger's hotel by herself is VERBOTEN. Pro's are fine with it, but many dating site girls aren't pro's. First meet will be on neutral ground.

Consider an Escort agency.

Regular girls usually want to meet in public the first time, unless you have a chat history both text and video.

You can meet in the lobby, go to the bar or coffee shop and after the first cup or drink ask if she wants to go upstairs. If you have even the smallest bit of game and are presentable the answer is virtually always yes and then the fun can start.

I prefer that way too. If I don't want her to go upstairs for some reason, I can just excuse myself and leave. No drama at the door trying to kick her out after she gets inside.

Your probably right, but my first trip, I had two regular girls that came to the hotel the first night. However, I had skyped with the first one for a couple of weeks before, then we went to eat, listen to music, etc. The first night before coming to the hotel. I chatted with the other a couple of days, she met me right away upon arrival.

I have a small sample size, only three trips at this point. The first was as described above, a mixture of regular girls and pros. The next trip, I met girl number one again for a trip to Boracay, but had a few pros before meeting up. The last time was a short trip, so I didn't have the inclination to contact the dating site girls. I guess my theory, based on a limited sample size, is that it may be more likely for them to meet at the hotel after chatting, skyping, etc. That is what I would do anyway to make sure the girl looks like her pictures, and see if she seems like someone I want to spend some time with.
