I dont know how long you have been here, but these real life losers/internet winners have a thing against those who do well and make good $$$, and since HE is one with many ilks he gives the impression of being many. My opinion is that this was a great thread but now has changed due to the drama associated with a business/hotel or whatever.

Very enjoyable to listen to the travelers discuss Medellin and their memories and experiences of the beautiful city of Medellin and the wonderful people that live there.

It brings back pleasant memories.

Can we please leave the touting of businesses and the drama that has come with it to the threads where they belong?

Why the pompous attitude? Why don't you just answer the dude with simple proprietor answers instead of stupid antic-dotes, like "STUPID VIDEO". You will get much more bees with sugar than you do with salt.. Me? I would never stay there because I feel there are better values, "more bang for you buck if you say" with just a little time and looking effort. Then you can have you own set of keys, come and go when you want, with who you want, do you pictures and make your videos (if thats is your thing) as YOU PLEASE, Without public or private ridicule. p.s YES these place CAN come with, Internet, Jacuzzi, Pool, Gym, House cleaning and YES 100% cotton SHEETS. lol

Well, the fact is Cubanut and a couple of the others are just posting complaints although they have never been here. I know they will never be clients so I really do not care what they think. You also say there are "better values" but have never seen the place. It is funny how all the cheerleaders have an opinion of a place they have never seen.

Winner and Cuba are right, Don't you have your own thread? Why are you cross-posting to half of the Colombian threads with your advertising? Why are you forcing people to have to filter out your propaganda? If people want to be solicited or want some propaganda about your place they can go to your thread to read it..

The reason I post here is because people like you keep responding. If you did not, I would stay in my own thread.

If you go back in this thread you will see I only started talking about my place after one of the NMGs started critisizing it (of course he has never seen it either). It is funny how a bunch of NMGs start to flame my place, and then when I respond to them, I am told not to post in this forum. It is like "hey, lets talk about his place but if he answers our questions we will tell him not to post here".

That is nice but you will have to leave your camera at home. None of the guests here want their photograph on the Internet. Actually, on second thought, it is probably best you stay where you are. I saw the stupid video you put on youtube. That type of shit I would absolutely not tolerate. I respect the privacy of my guests.




Pools take about 2-3 days to heat up. It is not like a toaster oven where we can turn it off and on. So yes it is always heated except when it is raining days at a time.

So far no one has ever stayed in the $80 room. Everyone wants the suites or the cabin. It is actually hard to rent the cheaper rooms.

Another thing, why do you advertise on a MONGER WEBSITE, Knowing the types of behavior and characteristics portrayed by the people here. With the constant turn-style changing of the novias and other debauchery. I mean it seems like you are going for more of a "DisneyWord" style atmosphere . I think you have come to the wrong place and should approach the Colombian Tourist Board Medellin. Granted all mongers are different and their are different levels of "debauchery"

I'm asking serious questions because I am planning to bring a female friend down with me in the near future and am considering your location because of the non-mongering atmosphere you are obviously promoting.

Of course I asked about construction because I have seen the pictures of the work in progress next door. It looks like a major project indeed and that is why I asked about the noise. I have more than a few times mentioned the construction noise heard at the Mansion to be sure as well.

In no way did I have knocked anything about your location in my post.

BTW- About the pool, You say it is open every day from 8:00am to 11:00pm. However does this mean it is heated during these hors as well?

Also you wrote "I am thinking of organizing some parties open to the public but just not sure how many people are out there." So are you saying that despite paying for privacy a guest could be there at anytime time you decide to have an open house?

I travel to Medellin for my business.

I go there almost twice a month for a few days.

Of course, My company pays the Hotel and I have to go to a good one in the Poblado for safety reason (company rules).

If I would go with my own money, I'd probably found something cheaper, but I suppose that I'm not the only member of this board being a business traveler...
That's why I posted some reports of different hotels in The Poblado.

I still have some 4 or 5 hotels to try...

I paid 240K at the Afinity Hotel for an apartment (check my report in the Medellin list's thread).

This is for the moment the most expansive hotel I have seen here.

I think that even the Intercontinental (very badly situated far from every thing ) is cheaper (with corporate rate).
