I was under the wrong impression that soaking clothes overnight in a bucket of water (at room temperature) with two big capfuls of dettol (those big white caps on dettol bottles) will be enough to destroy HPV, HSV and all other STD pathogens after a mongering trip. I used to wipe mobile phone with hand sanitizer.

But, a Google search proved that I was wrong and that it is very difficult to kill HPV.

Can anyone suggest the best research proven way to disinfect clothes, mobile phones and other accessories after mongering?

Putting clothes in a washing machine and running a very high temperature cycle and thereafter a long hot drying session will surely be effective but, I cannot dare to do so because it will invite unwanted attention from family.

Not a doctor here, but to the best of my knowledge HPV and HSV are virus based pathogens and cannot stay alive outside the host for more than a few seconds. Some bacteria based pathogens can remain alive, but disinfecting and washing in hot water will most definitely get rid of them. You can also read this information online, lot of reputed doctors have mentioned this in forums. Stay safe!

I am in a panic mode now as I am unable to understand if it's simply a rash or a something serious like genital wart etc. Can any doctor preset here help me with a clear guidance?? Not a doctor, but I can tell you too many STDs and non STDS have similar symptoms that even doctors can sometimes not tell without testing. It will not be possible for a doctor to diagnose you through such limited information. Your only choice is to get tested or see a doctor in person if you want to be sure. And don't worry, most clinics and doctors are professional so you don't have to worry about privacy concerns. Just relax and go see a doctor.

I have washed my mouth like 10 times with body wash & goggled with pepsodent after the incident.

After an hour or 2 hrs, now I have burning sensation on my upper lips fearing possible transmission of oral herpes.

I stayed clean all this year's and this is my first time. THIS HAPPENED Not sure what is going to happen for me.

When you put on CONDOM TAKE YOUR TIME, please ensure to cover your penis fully till the bottom from shaft.

Don't do any type of kissing, never go down DATY Cunnilingus Rim on working girl even with condom as this are probable causes for oral herpes / Genital herpes.

Going to stay away from this. To be honest I dint even enjoy the sexual activity with all the risks associated. Not at all worth it.

Just FYI.

Burning of upper lips can be caused by the use of body wash to clean mouth. That also multiple times.

Should use mouth wash in diluted form.

Listerine is strong.

Using body wash or Dettol to clean your mouth can be harmful.

Sometimes half knowledge is dangerous too.

Feeling stupid that I am seeing a diabetologist for this.

Gave a random phone no and email as I didn't want it to go in my records (being over cautious), the doc didn't even ask my age or if I am sexually active etc. He just said we generally give it to females & males before they get sexually active. And said for males also its good because it protects you from genital warts etc, and there are no side effects.

I was thinking he will give me a prescription and I will have to buy it from a pharmacy and then I will have to go to a health center to take it. He simply asked if I want it, I said YES sir, he called his receptionist and It was done in 5 minutes.

I got Gardasil, didn't enquire about the Indian variant (cervevax), the dr said I need 3 doses, (0,2,6 months), no side effects or precautions, I paid 3800 for the vaccine and left the clinic in a total of 15 minutes.

The exp. Was smoother than getting a HJ in a spa :-), I will go back after 2 months and then after 6 months to the same clinic.

Googled a bit, it seems it takes about 2 weeks for the immune system to kick in after the 1st dose.

Strongly recommend it for all.

I was working for an immune health app back in 2021 and had access to an extensive knowledge-base put together by the doctors and advisors in the company. In most first-world countries, HPV vaccine is part of their schedule for women (to prevent cervical cancer, caused by certain strains of HPV). For men, it's available privately. I'm 40 years old and well past the recommended age to take the vaccine but still went for it. Gardasil, 3 k in 2021.

I think it's excessive to hide email / phone for this purpose. Hiding details while getting an STD panel test / HIV is recommended though.

Bro.

Try to use Betadine Oral Liquid for mouthwash before and after the deed.

If you are using multiple liquid like body was and pepsodent mouth wash back to back, it may create burning sensation obviously.

Better you consult a doctor, still you are having some symptoms.

Also request you to please share the name of girl you tried, so all others can avoid (though it not confirmed an std).

Don't rely on condoms for protection against STDs. HPV infection can occur any time even with skin contact.
