Zebra when you went to Mezzanine the reason why all of the doors magically opened when you went up the stairs was because each of those rooms the girls are in have a bank of cameras pointing at the stairs you have to walk up and the walkway to each of the doors. So they see you coming.

Also I had to literally either bend the girl over the massage table or have her open her legs and sit on the edge. Thats how small the rooms are.

Still for a quick nut its not bad an an interesting experience.

    Showdown.

My first time in Bogota I was still in halfway decent shape. The altitude didn't bother me until the day I tried walking up a slight hill. Damn near wiped me out.

My other 2 visits were after spending months in Medellin, losing quite a bit of weight and walking 5-10 miles every day. One day I walked nearly 30 miles and other than sore legs I felt great. That includes walking all the way from Parque Virrey to Unicentro mall and then back through Chapinero.

This time, with dealing with the Covid, there have been days when walking to the bathroom was an ordeal. I'm hoping tomorrow I'll get to at least do a bit of walking to test my recovery.

I tried to order Rappi in Medellin and after setting everything up and confirming the test charge on my card, 10 minutes later they told me they had cancelled the order because they couldn't confirm the charge to my card. Ended up ordering pizza.

Mostly my appetite hasn't been worth the effort. A cup of yogurt for breakfast and a few spoonful's of Ajiaco for dinner was all I could handle. Back to eating full meals today. Tomorrow morning I've got a doctor coming over to hopefully give me a certificate of recovery, so I can get off quarantine.

Cocoa tea is a stimulant and opens up your airways. That is the effect you are seeing.

When I am in Bogota for more than 3 days, my nose starts running. I bought a nasal antihistamine and it went away. In your case, you should do that if your nose is stopped up like mine.

And for a better stimulant, use an asthma inhaler like Advair. It is a steroid in combination with a bronchodilator. You take two puffs of that twice daily. I think you can get that over the counter in Bogota.

It sounds like you just have routine asthma / allergies. The problem with natural stimulants is that most only last at most 4 or 5 hours. And stimulants (like cocaine) make sex better. I am more sensitive and have bigger loads when I use stimulants.

Speaking of Santa Fe, do yourself a favor and don't get drunk there and watch your pockets. My buddy lost 2 phones in less than a week. One was stolen by a working girl, second one was pickpocketed.
I don't like SF either and online is not for me, escorts and brothels have pimps / madames "calling the shots".

So I do my best work, off the beaten path, this is where I really excel jajajajaaa.

I wish I was there to show you some tips!!

I do off road mountain biking, I think of it the same way.

No guts no glory (many surgeries and trips to the ER but in the end YOLO).

Good advice and I appreciate it. I didn't consider whether or not I'm now likely to have false positives. Time to contact the hotel manager and see if he can get me a doctor's recovery statement.

What if I recently recovered from COVID-19?
CDC does not recommend getting tested again in the three months after a positive viral test, as long as you do not have symptoms of COVID-19. If you have had a positive viral test in the past 3 months, and you have met the criteria to end isolation, you may travel instead with documentation of your positive viral test results and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official that states you have been cleared for travel. The positive test result and letter together are referred to as “documentation of recovery.”

    From Brazil to Bogota

    Hello friends,

I am new to this forum thread but have been posting in the Rio thread for a while as I have spent the last seven weeks there and just arrived in Bogota a few days ago. Anyone making the trip directly to Colombia to Brazil should be aware that you need proof of a current yellow fever vaccination. Since I did not have this, I had to get vaccinated in Rio, and then go to Anvisa in the GIG airport to receive the official document required by airlines.

I had visited Bogota immediately before the pandemic started, albeit briefly, so was curious to see how things have changed. The first night after I get some sleep, I started in Chapinero, where I checked out Las Divas, Pussy House, and Club Fortynine. Pussy House and Las Divas have really gone down hill- at this point its just basically a bunch of local dudes watching soccer games with a few tired working girls lounging around. The girls were average and below average- and at Pussy House especially, the vibe was really strange with obnoxious music, aggressive crew, and was just overall uncomfortable. Beers were 10 mil I believe. I had remembered a club that was more enticing and seductive. Over at Club Fortynine things seemed to be in partial disrepair and the club was generally shabby compared to the photos on the internet. However, the ratio was much better with perhaps 10-12 SW lounging around. I grabbed an overpriced beer (20 mil) and approached the most attractive girl, a little 20 year old spinner w braces and big tits-there who quoted me 150 mil, but said that BBBJ was not allowed- not even if I met her outside of the club.

This unwillingness to perform BBBJ in just about all the girls I've met the last few days is a real bummer. Such service, including CIM or COF is more common than not in Rio de Janeiro, as is the DFK and groping that precedes taking a girl at a Terma. None of those things exist here. I asked one girl why and she said "she doesn't want to die". I mean, seriously? I'm not going to be enjoying Bogota or Colombia that much if this trend doesn't break. Why would anyone even want to visit a country in which the main enjoyable part of sex is not on the menu? Why would we just not go to another country instead?

Back to our story: frustrated I decide to head to Santa Fe, which I visited briefly in a previous trip but never made it inside a club. I started in Atunes (I think the spelling might be different) - and as it was a Friday night around 9 pm, the place was packed with local dudes and perhaps 20 WG. I liked the vibe a lot- but it was just too loud and crowded to really operate so I had another overpriced beer and headed next door to Troya where the scene was a bit better- here I could actually talk to the ladies and some of them were quite attractive! However- as previously mentioned, all propositions of BBBJ, even with extra compensation were refused, almost as if I said something rude and offensive. I'm still trying to figure this one out- my friend says its because these girls are so high volume. Anyways- I stumbled over to Paisas, already 5 beers deep and not wanting to drink anymore, and one of the many aggressive male crew members approaches me to tell me I have to drink to stick around. Ok fine, I'm out of here.

Wandering semi-drunk around the streets of SF at around 11 pm is perhaps not the smartest thing, but here I was. It is quite an amazing scene, with a surprisingly number of attractive women. A real feat for the eyes. Now and then you look over and there's just a completely legitimate stunner staring back at you as she loiters seductively in her dimly lit "nook". At this point I am still not really comprehending the system here and how these girls and the clubs are linked- I have not yet seen a room and the interconnecting hallways.

Instead of catching an uber, I stumble up the stairs of California, where the vibe is a little more to my liking. As I am taking a piss in the trough, a very aggressive local comes in to tell me in a very loud and animated fashion how great my facial hair is, or something similar. I am holding my penis, trying to pee, and manage to tell him thanks, but also can you see I am trying to pee? Back in the club, there are at least a few good looking ladies and a vibe that's easier to work than the previous clubs. Eventually a spinner comes and sits down next to me and I buy her a Corona. We get to talking and what do you know- she agrees to BBBJ and CIM! I'm astounded and so accept her offer of 100 mil and we are off- through some sort of labyrinth of hallways through another club, finally into a shabby room in a warren of shabby rooms. I think these are the same rooms the girls in front on the street take you to- so I can see the backend a little better. I pay the girl upfront (which I don't like to do so please mongers tell me if that's the legit thing here) The noise of all the clubs was deafening as I remove my clothes and we begin. Unfortunately I received perhaps the most robotic and mechanical attempt at a blowjob that I can recall, and the attitude of the girl was similarly detached, with no kissing, no eye contact- almost just like a human sex doll – and she wouldn't even let me put my hand on her head to guide it down to my cock. This combined with my lingering fatigue resulted in a poor performance on my part, although I manage to squirt out a half hearted little cumshot through a barely erect penis which she quickly spits in the sink. She offers BBFS to me at a greater price, and later on through whatsapp she agrees to CIP on another encounter for 300 mil. Not sure if I'm going to bite given the robotic nature of her performance and the fact that she is so high volume. Still- it was nice to finally get some uncovered service. I get the number of another girl on my way out and head home.

The next day a fellow ISG monger and myself take a visit to "Mezzanine" which is a collection of 6 or so massage rooms a little north of the Parque 93 area. As we come go up the stairs onto said mezzanine all the doors open as if by magic and all the girls peep out to show their cute little selves. I see a cute spinner in the first room and just go with it- my friend does a little shopping before ultimately selecting a girl from the same room unbeknownst to me. Keep in mind I don't do massages and this was just for a laugh- so things that would be familiar to some were new to me. The price was 100 mil. The room was tiny with a rickety little table that I try to relax on upon undressing. The girl is pretty hot, but will not allow kisses so I just suck on her cute titties and finger her pussy which is well lubricated. She puts a condom on my stick and tries to suck on it through the condom- which as I said before I just don't do. There is no sensation- it doesn't do anything for me- so cock remains sadly flaccid throughout the whole comic affair. So sad. If this girl actually did a real BBBJ with CIM, or COF I think I would've gotten pretty hard and for sure pumped her vaginally covered, but once again- that type of service not found easily in Bogota. Still it wasn't unenjoyable for something like $27 usd. My friend had better luck in the room next door and managed to bust a nut. I will not be coming back to this location or any other parlor- for someone like me there is very little point.

The next day I'm really not feeling horny (a theme is emerging here) - perhaps I'm low in my testosterone cycle, perhaps I'm down about all this ridiculous covered sex business, perhaps mongering for 7 weeks straight has taken away the fire, who knows? Nevertheless I decide to recon the more upscale clubs in the Zona T area and so I head out. Upon approaching what used to be an imposing black building with Club Casanova and another club, I see the building has been painted all white and all the doors are shut. Some loitering locals tell me these clubs are permanently closed, but want to show me some other clubs. I agree, knowing full well I will need to throw a tip of 2-4 mil for his services, but that's not really a lot. First club he takes me to "Copacabana"-ironic because I was just coming from the real Copacabana and let me tell you there is nothing in common. I hurriedly sip down the 50 mil Heineken and the lineup of average girls eyes me leerily until they figure out I'm not interested and go sit down. Poor things. This club is awful, don't go.

Next my new "friend" takes me to The Blue Room, which is actually a nice space with potential inside, but perhaps I came to early because there were literally two girls. Other mongers can chime in if this is a worthwhile club, but for now I have too little info. The last club he takes me too "Olimpio" or "Olympia" or some derivation of the word is actually not bad with a healthy selection of girls and a nice big space. I buy another 50 mil corona and grab a chica to go sit with. She's a hot little spinner with a beautiful smile and big eyes and claims to be 20. I buy her an overpriced drink and we hang out a bit. I tell her I'm not taking anyone tonight, but give her 40 mil in cash and she rubs her ass against me and grinds which is very pleasant. Actually had a nice relaxing time talking to this chica for a while, not sure if it was worth 240 mil (the ultimate damage from drinks, etc), but I wasn't going to session that night so it was better than nothing. I get her whatsapp and she quotes me some ridiculous amount for sex but eventually comes down to 400 mil for two hours, and then later 300 mil for one hour. Finally I ask her about BBBJ and CIM and she flatly refuses saying she "doesn't want to die". Again, seriously? Who has been telling these girls not to do BBBJ? Why is this entire country so uptight. Brazilians will do that AND anal like its brushing your teeth.

So that's my first few days in Bogota, I have to say I'm not impressed for the reasons mentioned here. If it's such a huge effort to get what I need (BBBJ), I'm sure I will not be coming back. I've got a few SA coals in the fire, but am reluctant to pull the trigger on those only to be in the same situation. Regardless, my Airbnb is still for about 10 more days before I got to Medellin so I will have to figure out how to make due until then. If anyone has any suggestions, please, please, please let me know. So far Bogota is not impressive in the mongering category and its freaking cold and the altitude is bummer. Sorry to be such a bummer myself, but the Zebra calls it like he sees it.

    Zebra Out.

When you go up to higher altitude levels, the amount of 2,3 BPG goes up very quickly. Higher 2,3 BPG cause a red blood cell to have a decreased affinity for oxygen which sounds like you have less oxygen but that is not correct. With more 2,3 BPG, you have more available oxygen to use as it is not stuck to the red blood cell.

The amount of 2,3 BPG can vary a lot from person to person as there are conditions that can cause less or more of it. Higher thyroid for example means more 2,3 BPG and lower thyroid means lower levels.

Given that you can go hiking so quickly at Monserrate, it suggests to me you form high levels of 2,3 BPG very quickly and your cells have more oxygen available to them than the average person. Then you can to a lower altitude, you have lower levels of 2,3 BPG and have much less free oxygen running around which could cause fatigue.

Overweight people have higher levels of 2,3 BPG so it will be interesting to see if your weight loss has an effect. It might be worth having your doctor check your thyroid too.

I think I have a more normal response with my 2,3 BPG levels because when I have gone from Bogota to a city with a lower altitude I immediately feel better. It is interesting though that one of the reason Colombianas may be thinner than women in other countries is that you burn more calories at a higher altitude and there is going to be a different effect when you eat carbohydrates high up as well. There is a really good chance that people have less carb craving at higher altitudes because the carbs do not make you feel as good as at lower altitudes.
Thanks for that info. After lots of googling after previous trips, your explanation is the only one that might explain what I've been experiencing. I'll need to research what you mentioned a bit more, but I'll be happy if I can continue visiting Bogota as I feel it's the best city for our hobby on this side of the world.

    Recovering in Bogota

After 8 days of quarantine in Bogota, I'm almost recovered from Covid. The hotel has been very helpful, checking up on me daily and they even cut my room rate by 20%. Although, if I'd suspected I had Covid, and would need a quarantine, I'd have found myself a cheaper hotel, I have no complaints with the airport Courtyard by Marriott.

If all goes well, I hope to have a negative test on Monday, ending my quarantine a day or two before I fly home. Now I'm trying to decide how best to use that small window. Other than getting out and eating something that didn't come from room service, I'm undecided.

I still tire easily, so I'm not planning on anything too energetic, but I might find a massage or a club to relieve some boredom. I've had several offers from girls in Medellin to come and take care of me, as well as one in Pereira. One or two of them would be tempting, but not real thrilled with that route.

I'm familiar with the mezzanine, along with another nearby spa, but it's probably disappeared by now. The northern clubs don't much appeal to me, although I'll consider if there's one that I just can't miss. I'm not interested in pulling off the street in Santa Fe. I'd rather go to a club with decent onsite rooms. At this stage of my recovery, I'd probably be satisfied with a good, professional massage with a good happy ending.

I'll probably post a "What's there to do in Bogota" on Facebook, just to see if any of the Medellin girls have a local they want to recommend. If anyone has a suggestion on how to spend a few hours, with minimal physical exertion, let me know.

    Santa Fe

Yes, Santa Fe is half-dead during day and night. There are fewer girls, and they are not attractive. I will fly to Medellin soon.
