Around 2 pm I took a cab to Palmeras Real*Carrera 15 # 66-17, I saw a black door which I think was the entrance but nobody was there and I didn't knock. Instead I let one of the guys on the street take me to another place across the street to a green house facing another red casa on cra. 16 Calle 66-22. Maybe 6 girls, none of them interested me. That is strange JjBee62 as I thought of escorts differently. I read that in Colombia some police (I am sure a small minority) are corrupt and they charge you with something stupid (like a simple traffic violation for example especially if they see a tourist) so that they extract large sums of money from the tourists or the guy at reception may try to blackmail and do same but I am sure these are very rare.

Yes this is all surprise to me as where I live visitors just walk to elevator and nobody questions them but I have been only to large hotels where there are so many people which it is impossible to tell who is guest and who is visiting. But I have to accept Colombia is another country and they have their own strange rules. BTW just to clarify I have no intention to see prostitutes just high class escorts and I am seeking companionship only (so looks rather than services is my goal). For that I only have to stay in classy hotels otherwise they likely won't come to some cheap love motel in unsafe downtown area, I guess but I am not myself going anywhere near those areas or those motels for my own safety after what I have read about Bogota. Even for Airbnb they have to check in with the security and have to be announced and if I receive two visitors a day I am sure the security may wonder after a few days. Also I am noting that seeing escorts (sex or not) is only legal in tolerance zones (the area that I won't go near) not in Chapinero though I don't know how serious it is to be outside that area is police is called. The high class escorts are prostitutes, same as all the other escorts. Whether or not you personally have sex with them doesn't matter. In Colombia they are called Prepagos, which means pre-paid. Whether you pay 180,000 pesos and fuck every hole, or pay 1,500,000 and just hug the woman while she reads you a fairy tale, her job classification is Prostitute.

Sex with prostitutes is effectively legal anywhere in Colombia. Because no police officer so going to waste time trying to catch some tourist getting a BJ.

They only reason you might get in trouble is if you do something really stupid:

Have sex with an obvious [CodeWord902] person.

Beat up a prostitute (excuse me, high class escort).

Refuse to pay your high class escort.

Try to fuck a high class escort in public.

Maybe they won't notice one prepago, but if you're planning on a steady stream of women, they will definitely notice. It doesn't matter if you pay for 6 rooms, claiming 2 people in each room, the hotel is still going to check Identification of anyone who comes to visit. I think (but am not going to look it up right now) it's the law.

What the other guy means is that you need to ask the hotel about their guest policy. You should do that before you pay for the reservation. You can call or send an email. Just ask "what is your hotel's policy regarding guests?

I am renting an apartment for 3 guests in that hotel but I am only one person in there so if they try to charge me extra (even a small amount) I wouldn't take it very kindly. And what do you mean clear my plans with reception? You mean tell him that I am bringing girls from escort agency to my room! To be honest even though it is for my own safety I don't like my guests having to register at reception. Also this hotel has 400 rooms likely about a thousand guests at any time so how on earth would they know that someone walking in the hotel and going towards the elevator is a registered guest or a visitor? You will get one of these answers:

1. We do not allow additional guests. Only people registered for the room are allowed.

2. We only allow X number of guests per day. Guests must sign in with the front desk.

3. There is a charge for each guest (first one might be free). The charge is #X pesos. Guests must sign in with the front desk.

4. We have no guest restrictions, but guests must sign in with the front desk.

I doubt if you will get answer #4 from any Dann Carlton hotel. My guess is that you will be limited to 1 guest / day and there will be an additional charge.

The hotel has a responsibility to all their guests (and to the stockholders). Those guests include families with children and many others who are morally opposed to staying in a hotel full of prostitutes. While your prepagos might be professionally dressed, if the hotel doesn't require them to check in, soon they will get women showing up who dress like prostitutes. Which causes the hotel problems.

You have options. You can get a room down in Chapinero and then use the love Motels to entertain your escorts. You can get a room for 3 or 4 hours for less than $10 US.

You can find an Airbnb host that doesn't worry about guests (they still may need to show ID to security).

You can find a cheap hotel in Santa Fe, where they expect (and can probably recommend) escorts to visit frequently.

I had no problem bringing in chicas when I was staying at the hotel. I stayed there for a total of 4 weeks on 3 separate trips. I now have an apartment. The clerk at the front desk speaks great english tall bald headed guy. Just clear your plans with him. They will charge you 4000 pesos for additional security per guest per night. They only want to see her cedula. No problems for me. Just get pre authorized before leaving for the night. You can also get a pass to go to the other dann carleton on 93? Street to use their spa, gym, sauna, massage. And swimming pool. , there is also a small restaurant at the pool, the chicas really loved this.

I took a cab to Chicas Milenio Calle 71 #14 A-24 around 4 pm, with a price of 40 mil peso for 30 minutes I did not expect the quality to be too high, but I was positively surprised this time, thanks to Routard. Around 8 girls came to greet me and I chose a girl called Angela. She had big, natural boobs and a very nice smile. The quality of the session wasn't memorable but good considering the price and for being a brothel where its not so easy to chat the girls up before the deed. Let's start out with the positive, since the negative is killing it, Bogota isn't as cold as its painted out to be. I could walk around in jeans and a shirt. The second, it didn't feel dangerous in my barrio, Calle 95 esquina Carrera 14. I took a walk to the pharmacy and walked around in the bar area close to Lalos.

First club to visit, Lalos: It felt / was dead and I managed to pay 105 000 for a vodka and Redbull.

Then to the Mansion, I think they called it. One or two blocks away from Lalos. More girls, better ambiance, but 50 000 for a straight vodka.

I notice that I'm getting fucked, in Spain the drinks would cost 30-45 for a vodka redbull in a high end club. In Spain the girls comes to the clients to start a convo, didn't happen in either of these places.

I also went to a third club in the same area more or less but existed quickly.

I have to ask, are there any places, big clubs like in Spain where you can speak to and get a feeling of the girls before choosing her?

For a strip club that I don't think has been reviewed, try Aroma why Tanga (silly ISG spell check strikes again. Replace "why" with the letter that is pronounced like why in English). They have a website and 2 locations.

I was reading your great report earlier on everything in Bogota including strip bars and Lolas come on the top in terms of best looks though likely with no strip shows which is something I like so I may look for other bars with strip shows but great to know about taxis waiting though travel advisories are advising not to catch a taxi on street and always call because of what has happened in the past to tourists (and again thank you so much for your fantastic contributions to this forum).
