In Medellin now. Arrived yesterday. Parque lleras was pretty quiet last night bc of the rain. The only ones there were centro rats. Had some cover and drank a beer under a tree right across from Gusto. The women going in were not great. In fact, in the 1/2 hour I was there, there was not one I would do. It seems Mexico city is less dangerous in terms of petty thefts and robberies but it is another level if you somehow get caught in narco cartels which may be very unlikely in touristy areas like Roma, condesa.

Hey guys, this question might not have been asked here before. I working remotely so I was planning to get the digital nomad visa for 2 years and plan to set up shop in Colombia. I speak Spanish fairly well. I am not looking to monger per se, but would love to anywhere in Colombia. But the recent news about drugging and murder makes me wary. If you don't plan to monger or only monger a little how safe is Colombia for living long term and for long term relationships. Thanks, muchas gracias!

The thing I can't get around in MDE is that where there is smoke there is fire. I've been doing pretty serious research on Scopalina and the dangers of MDE. I'm not gay, but I don't have anything against gay people whatsoever. The intel I received is that the gay pay for play scene in MDE is thriving and there is a huge scopalina risk for gay, affluent Gringos. Similar risk for affluent out of shape Gringos constantly looking to low ball chicas over $6. The Police in Colombia aren't all that respected by Colombians. Whatever you do don't count on them for anything. Check out the you tube videos of Americans that got scoped, overweight, out of shape, and effeminate seem to be common themes.

My Spanish tutor is from Bogota. She has told me that there is no safe place in Colombia, even for Colombians.

The Colombian chicas are flat out gorgeous. The Colombian men I've met in the US have told me that if a Colombian lady really loves you then they are surprisingly faithful. I juxtapose that with the Colombian men I met in MDE, they sure do seem to call ladies Putas, and they do it often.

I believe a suburb of SJ, CR would be a far safer place to be a digital nomad. Great weather, big CIA ops center, lots of retired CIA live there. The Switzerland of Central America.

Now the housing / hotel rates are through the roof, airfare rates are 100%+ up, the girls are more demanding and flakey. Girls who charged me 300-350 mil cop per date in 2021 now want 500-700 mil cop.

Inflation has a lot to do with the adjusted rates.

I've always avoided Seeking personally because I figured it attracted a certain type (also why pay a membership when I can get similar results for free). My philosophy on apps has always been to think about what the women are looking for when they sign on. On Seeking women are looking for a sugar daddy or p4 p, on Colombian Cupid they are looking for a foreign husband or p4 p, on Tinder foreign husband, p4 p or scam / rob (Colombian guys don't use tinder that much BTW).
