Rappi started to have problems with one of my cards again. And then this morning it had problems with the other card that it did not have problems with before!

This is what I did to fix it:

1) Verify that there is nothing going on with your card with your bank (took me damn near 35 minutes to get someone on the phone yesterday just for them to tell me the card is not blocked).

2) Delete the app. No need to delete the card again (as I mentioned to do in a previous post unless you did not verify the card. See my other Rappi post a page or so back).

3) Re-install the app and use the SMS option to login. Don't worry about not having a Colombian number: you can select the US country code (+1) and it will send your phone the SMS verification code to log into Rappi.

I have noticed that the app's interface looks a bit different than yesterday, so maybe they did an app update and it screwed everyone up!

This last week I experienced something I hadn't experienced in quite a while. I am typically not out in "public" with my Chicas being either in El Centro, or at my place. However I met one of my Chicas last week at a beachfront tourist hotel in Cartagena. In Medellin? I guess it's going to vary widely depending on you.

I like to stay in an apartment. Every 3 or 4 days, I'll pick up some eggs, cheese and avocado. About 10 k for breakfast for 3 days. Call it $1 daily for breakfast. $1.30 if I buy a jug of orange juice.

For lunch I prefer hitting a typical Colombian place for the menu of the day, $3-$4. For dinner I'll alternate between more expensive meals and cheap meals. Average about $8 daily.

I am new here but not new to the mongering thing but have never been to Colombia. I had some Credit with Jetblue so I decided to book a ticket to Bogota next month. It seems like everyone universally prefers Medellin and Cartagena for the women is there a particular reason that I am missing? I wanted to stay in Bogota because I like the cooler climate but Have now decided to spend only a day or 2 there and then go to Medellin for a week due to all the positive reviews.

It depends on your style. If you're out barhopping at night, Bogota is cold. If you're doing your mongering in the daytime, except for rainy season, the weather is great. Although the altitude bothers some guys.

Medellin is comfortable at night, unless it's raining. It can get a little warm in the daytime, but humidity is low.

Mongering in Bogota focused mainly around the street action and clubs in Santa Fe, although there are plenty of over options.

I knew my report would piss off some of the long time regulars which is why I prefaced it by saying I'm a younger guy that clearly has different preferences from you guys. Different strokes for different folks. My advice is meant for younger guys like me (20's to 30's) that want to experience and be sold the "dream" as you describe it. Hey, we all roll differently. Some are into fb, others Lleras, others Fas Dos, others Centro. Me, I'm a strictly casa man; apparently not many of us around now. We had this confusion before. The antibody test is only used to find out if you've had Covid. It's not useable for the travel requirements. The antigen test, or the PCR test is what you need for travel.

I was there exactly at 9 PM and it started to rain around 10 minutes later. While walking down Calle 10 the rain started to get harder and harder. What I witnessed was accurate in terms of what I saw. Did you notice that one side of Lleras was closed. I had dinner with a friend who lives a few blocks away and the rain didn't start until right after 9 PM. I didn't go inside any of the clubs and can only imagine that the ones outside, approximately 20 had no umbrellas with them must of entered the clubs. Maybe not enough potential clients inside of them, hence they were outside. I have no experience with the Clubs around Lleras, but was surprised to see so many outside on the street at 9 PM immediately before the rain started. There were also girls on the side streets leading up to Lleras, did you notice them? Seemed odd to me so many out at 9 PM, but that's what I saw. As far as pricing, I have no clue except by what I read by others here.

I'm a bit late to this party, but here's my experience.

4 years ago, you wouldn't find any working girls in the park before 10 pm, and peak time wasn't until around 1 am. At the time I was literally walking through the park every night between 10 pm and 2 am. Also at that time, 20 out working the park and side streets was a big number. 10-15 was more likely. However, all of the clubs which are now closed were open and you could find girls in all of them.
