Hey guys, I have read quite of this forum and I'm coming to Colombia for first time in 1 week from now, will be staying 40+ days, Medellin to start. Have many trips behind me, but south america for the first time.

I've read plenty about zombie drug and other things that I need to be careful off. I have 2 questions related mostly with security.

Would you recommend when bringking up a girl in my place, should I lock the door and put the key in the safe or is that bit too much? Do you have a different approach? Ofcourse will keep an eye on my drink, don't want to get drugged.

First few days I plan to go around center of Poblado, parque Poblado and so on, would you recommend leaving the phone at the apartment and just take cash with me?

I think if you are worry about drugging, you need to separate your important stuff from you so they can't get to it, like a different place. Or find a place that they can't leave without you being conscious. Phone can be considered a safety device too, so buy a cheap phone. You can get a new Samsung phone for about 80 USD in Medellin.

If I were the woman, this would scare the snot out of me. It depends where you are staying. Some places will keep their ID and not let them leave until they call you and make sure all is well. That is my personal favorite approach.

By the way, beauty contests usually use a very narrow definition of beauty. They don't represent a majority opinion. If you're rating based on beauty pageants you are basically asking Frito Lay what kind of snack is best.

WHile there are some VS models I find attractive, I have never viewed them as being the cream of the crop (and that goes for models in general). Give me a flaca with a pretty face and smile, no surgeries or other work, and not horrible tats. And that's my idea of hot.

We can agree to disagree, but there is not a strong correlation, in my opinion, between cost and looks (including body type). I have my limits on what I pay and I can generally get what I want. And that is not a fat girl, or a girl with horrible tatoos, a tussi user or alcoholic, and / or a used up working girl. I avoid the so-called 10's. They are not hot. To me, hot is natural. And they can be found if you put the work in. And it can cost you less than you think. Sometimes even free (other than taxi).
