Many posters criticize others for how much they spend on their trips. I'm not sure if it's due to lack of funds, a sense of wanting to come across as subject experts, being cheap, or simply because they think that their low standards for girls and accommodations are the same for everyone here.

Personally I applaud you if you can stay in a hostel or a cheap place and be happy, more power to you if you like living the simple life. There are plenty of hotels and Airbnb that cost north of $200 a night In Medellin, if you check everywhere in the world right now the hotel industry is going through huge demand, paying $250 a night seems fair to me for a big multi room place. Me, I'm planning to hit the ground soon and have booked a combination of a couple of days in a lower price $50-60 a night location but also staying in a place that charges north of $150 a night. Is it worth it? That is up to me, and to whoever other monger that does the same. I plan on enjoying banging my catch from my bed overlooking the big city and knowing I paid $150 a night because I can while others are happy banging in cheaper places.

Mostly the gringo hotels / Airbnb's charges those amount. I won't lie some of those places look dope. Charlee, Energy Living. And I will spend some money on a nice place to lay but I will not spend that money on a girl.

There are plenty of options in the $200-$250 per night range, even over $1000 per night places are available.

He's 1 guy, staying probably for a short period and pulling a couple of girls off of SA. Chances are the street girls in El Centro won't suddenly demand $100,5 star accommodations and champagne and lobster for a 30 minute date, just because one guy is living it up in Poblado.

It's less than 20 dollars. You put in your information and you get the ticket at a scheduled time before the flight to your email. Maybe 48 hours before. The ticket expires after 48 hours I think. If they ask you, you just show them this ticket and say you'll leave when the ticket says. After 48 hours the ticket is doesn't work anymore. But you made it through customs so that's all that matters.

This is excellent what you have provided, kind of like an insurance policy. As far as Colombian customs, I have never ever heard of them checking as they rely on the airlines flying into Colombia to supposedly do this. However for other Countries like in SEA, customs will require proof of onward travel upon arriving.

Strange day, strange week, with a happy ending. The theme of this trip continues to be IDK WTF is going on. Still have not seen or spoken to Scarlet since the "incident" a few days ago. She was my anchor for the last few times I have been to Medellin, ranked at Number Two in my List, but functionally she was number one because I have only seen my Numero Uno novia Catgirl one day this trip and two days last trip. My opinion is it is very difficult to predict how the peso and US dollar will interact post election. The fact is the peso has not strengthened very much since it was at 4100+ during the days before the first round vote (3910 today). The conventional wisdom is the peso will strengthen with a Rodolfo Hernandez win and weaken with a Gustavo Petro win. But again, it is very difficult to predict. We will soon know.

I have penciled in a 3600-4300 range based on the outcomes you said. Either way it's going to move significantly Monday is my prediction.
