All said and done you cannot ignore india. Culture shock etc reported by foreigners is limited to very few bird brained back packers who a) want to come to india to experience its unmitigated, unparalleled, wholesome freedom for very little money. B) Later act like millionaires.
Sure its shitty as well, but why do people end up here at all. It gets depressing to see people talk shit about India when they are not concerned with it in any way. So much so that your little $'s spent over here for cheap booze, good food, do anything you want freedom mean nothing to us Indians. Likewise your bad mouthing of a country which welcomes everybody is something very childish.

Yes, India has problems of corruption, female foeticide, poverty and what not. But hey, is every other country perfect?
Each one of people living in so-called civilized world will have some or the other problem and the point is not to fight over it; but to take it in it's stride! Some pointers in our civilization you might not accept and we find something in your lifestyle not good for living.
I have lived for a couple of years in Munich, Toronto and London each and I find many things in those places repulsive, but it's not in my culture to find and point out mistakes and shortcomings in anybody's life. I accept the way you live.

No, what bothered me most was that I seemed to be cut adrift in Queer city, surrounded by gay boys strolling around holding hands. I spent the first week walking around with my back to the wall! Only later did I discover that male hand holding is a cultural thing. Strange folk, these Indians.
This girl told me her daddy was an Indian (her mommy a Pinay). She did look rather exotic. Nice tits, too.

(btw is it the only board on this system with additional instructions for users?)
In Goa i saw busloads of young male Indian tourists who spilled off buses after long journeys just to leer and stare at the female western tourists. imagine many hours from Delhi in an organised tour just for that. how repressed and dysfunctional is that society?
From some news reports: typical example.
according to the 2011 census, the number of females per 1000 males in haryana stands at 879, far below the national average of 943 and the lowest among all twenty-eight states in india. the number falls to 836 in certain districts, and the state-wide figure is even more alarming in the 0-6 age group, where there are just 834 girls for every 1000 boys.
as a result of this disparity, men like rajesh are unable to marry, and face an increasingly dire situation. his mother laments, 'there are so few girls in haryana. no-one wants a daughter. if you don't have any daughter how will you have a bride? '
she adds, 'it is common for pregnant women to have a prenatal test and if the fetus is a girl, they often abort them. '
There I got that off my chest. feel strangely unburdened.

Posts: 64[quote=gajith; 1506573]sorry, i disagree with your statement. the below paragraph is fyi only:
two laws that prohibit the sex selection of a fetus in india are the medical termination of pregnancy act. 1971 (mtp) , as amended in 2002, and the pre-natal diagnostic techniques (regulation and prevention of misuse) act. 1994 (pndt) , as amended in 2002. the former act prohibits abortion except only in certain qualified situations, while the latter prohibits the sex selection of a fetus with a view towards. and blabblabla.
your denial of the problems does not create another reality. one needs just to be moderately educated to know that female foeticide is a huge social problem in india, in some regions there are male to female ratios up to 120:100. of cause this is officially prohibited but because of low salaries there are enough corrupt doctors. don't think that the forum members are so stupid to ignore the reality of the [CodeWord123] issue in your country. why do indians.probably more then any other group encounter problems in go go bars or single working girls. they come in packs, share drinks, want later share a hooker but pay only for one etc. some gogos in pattaya don't allow girls to go with indians or demand payment in the bar already. this is not because of racial discrimination but because of real bad experiences, but how can anything change when the people concerned are in a state of denial?

even you go to any hospitals in india, you can see there are notices everywhere stating the above act's summary.
india is a big country. 1.2+ billion people living there, and you are referring to one or two incident (even you use commas). whatever happens in india will be reported by medias (politics is a different story imo). i would say when you consider the ratio with other countries (use little mathematics) , nothing much bad happening in india comparatively.

indian logic: 1.2 billion indians against. how many of you and me? well, indian logic says, they are always right, including the murders, [CodeWord124], killing female children *heck, when i mentioned my live-in-gf is pregnant with a male child, an indian guy in our office was aghast. seems you are not allowed to scan for sex of baby, in india, lest you kill the child if it is female. * and then they worry why there are more men than women.
so, my 2 cents:
indians are always right. as they have too many of them around, and will always demand you show allegience to them.
obligatory pic. a pinay dh i met in singapore, too shy to show her face (loved her granny panties though.)
ps: a quote from a friend. an aussie, while on the phone with an indian, the aussie had asked the indian "mate, you got an accent, where are you from?" the indian had gone "we have 1. 2 billion speaking the same english, we don't have accent, you have accent". go figure that out first. lol.
to any indians: while you guys are numerous, you guys have to cool down, chill, and take things easy. and you are not always right. and while india has signs of the world's oldest civilisation, so does india now, with open drains, kids pooping and pigs eating the [CodeWord116] straight off the kids butt. yes, i have seen 'them all, so don't glorify all and everything. as much as you guys have rich and richest, you also have unpolished guys, like the rich indian who bid for the virginity of a brazilian, shows how civilised he was.
for some fun, btw.

tenthousands indian girls are killed every year before they are even born, [CodeWord123] is endemic, victims are thrown out of busses, police chiefs encourage to enjoy the act. if they are not raped they might get burned alive or thrown acid in their face. the posting of this lowlife is just another expression of this ignoble attitude, a shame it happens on this forum.

Many countries now have immunisation for HPV for girls and hopefully can also be introduced for boys.
