Sorry I was away for a while and I owe an update to all of you. I had called and spoken to this Rekha independent. She said she provides the service only at this hotel (called Gangasagar : http://maps.google.co.in/maps/place?...L5b4vAPz3OTvBA).

Asked for 3k for service + 1k for room. Offered me to book the room otherwise. She said she stays far away from the place and has to travel a long distance to meet clients here for service. I set up an appt with her at 2PM and almost went to meet her but something important came up and I then called her well in advance before she started from her place to cancel it and apologized. She was fine with it and asked when can I see her. After the warnings from all mongers in this forum, I was hesitant, but set up for another day (2 days after the cancellation). On the planned day, she started calling me in the morning (I was at home!) and asked if I am meeting her. I got scared and told I couldn't meet her that day either.

She again called the next week in the morning and asked if I am ready to which I again declined.

But from all these conversations I had with her, I somehow get the feeling that she is genuine. Stay away from Craigslist ads. Most ads direct you to Koramangala, BTM, or Marathahalli. Me and a friend called up a few numbers the day before (Friday). The dude asked us to come to Koramangala passport office. We waited at around 12. 30 am and LE showed up and hassled us for money. We ended up paying Rs. 200 for no reason. The guys on Craigslist for the most part are cheats and in cahoots with the LE. Maybe others have had better luck, but I would stay away from craigslist.
