You are right. My post was to suggest that if the OP has to do it, he can reduce his risk. The risk is reduced when the girl gains 0 (with a large upside if she travels), and your loss is to the extent of cancellation fee for 1 way (compared to hotel & return tickets).

That is the reason I only travel when I've known my partner for some time and we are both enthusiastic about the trip.

I did that years ago. While SA was least bothered about Indian customers then, it might have changed now. For e. G. Indian credit cards work more easily, because they dropped auto-renewal of the sub (which is procedurally difficult when there is no 2 factor authentication).

What they could do, if someone is writing:

- After 1 month free, pay for membership (less amount than for men)
- Disallow pics posted earlier, in any new profile.
- No changing profile names.
- A minimum word length for your profile.
- Deactivate inactive profiles (no log-in for a month).
- If a profile is reported, ban the IP address (which is done for men).

I had a long chat and tried to convince her / him (to do a video call as a first basic step of authenticity. He (Mostly) was trying to saw that he can share all the photos or stock videos as his phone screen had broken down. I asked him about back camera, he didn't answer. Great analysis. I wish SA would keep it payment-gated for female profiles as well. Not the outrageously high prices we already pay but even like 15-20 $ fee per month. It keeps away scammers (most of them atleast). They wouldn't want to pay that amount again only to be blocked by most of them. Next would be females not able to create multiple profiles to gauge what prices they can get. Also I believe the general quality of women would be much better if it was fee-gated for everyone and not just as an additional premium option.
