Posting a scary experience of one of my friend, who picked up a gal based on someones contact and suppose to take her to a friends flat.

On the way she felt hungry and he stopped the car to pick up some food. While coming back from the food joint, he was stopped by 3 men asking him to come aside.

He was asked too many questions as to where he picked up the girl from, who is she. Etc etc. They claimed to be from a local TV channel, and they have captured everything in camera. And it will be showed in the news. He was shitting bricks and some how managed to escape from there by paying a hefty amount. He was in a car and he is very well off. They had demanded for 1 lac to escape. They also claimed that they part of one of the local political party. They scared the shit out of him as they also said they have captured where he got down to pick up from an ATM. And the car has.

Also been filmed. He negotiated and paid some 50 K and escaped.

I am not very favor of picking up gals. But for the people out in this forum, guess need to be very careful. And yes the gal had ran away by then. So it is very possible that it was a trap. With the gal and those men involved. So be careful. And remember anytime if you taking some one and she asks you to stop. Just don't. In fact speed up the car / bike drop her somewhere and escape.

When the blackmailers told him they are from a TV channel he should have demanded to see their IDs or their visiting cards. When confronted by such situations, keeping your head I vital. When they said they are from political party he should have challenged them and asked if they work for a TV channel or a political party.
