I think it is the other way around. There is no big news in raiding a small spa and arresting 4-5 therapist and 2 - 3 customers. LE will get peanuts & therapist would come out on bail, change names and work in another spa.

In case of Tin factory spa, there is high probability that some biggies got upset with each other in revenue sharing from Spa and pushed the LE to take action.

They will harass the manager and others who are arrested, will not allow Spa to run till the time someone blinks. Post which there will be cooling period and after that spa will open again and slowly everything will be back to normal.

I was talking to one of the spa girls last week and she had an acquaintance working in nirvana while the raid happened. She said they called families of all these wh*res and allegedly extorted 1. 3 L from each one of them. They also seized a bungalow worth 2 Cr of spa owner LOL. But not sure how accurate it is!

Most of the news gets suppressed when a start property is involved as high people have stakes in these properties (most star properties are a JV).

I mean whosoever thinks if a sp is operating from a Star hotel is safe its not I meant in this case it's Leela hotel and if you would Google a star hotel opp Kanteerva stadium got into news.

I have a friend working in this hotel industry and he said most of the time when LE comes they have solid proof and they take high amount to settle the matter with hotel management so it's not in news.

Prostitution is legal in India. It's just they raid by using loopholes such as a number of related activities including soliciting, owning or managing a brothel, prostitution in a hotel, child prostitution, pimping are illegal. So any prostitution done in home is legal.

These beggars can only do this as this is the only easiest and cheapest way to get into news. They can never arrest thugs like Malya and other high profile peoples neck deep in crimes and money laundering.

All they can do is catch some poor girls who is there to make some money in the first place. I can understand if they are to rescue underage but that's not the case (very rare).

This is all across India with crappy media acting as informant. Also these scums can squeeze some money out of both parties involved. High time Prost* should be made legal in India.

Also the thing in Bangalore is most of these SP's and SPAs are working for one bigger shot in Blre. All agency's report to him and are part of the same group. Only names are different. This was the case like around 6-7 yrs earlier. Now not sure but my guess is that big shot will be still there as big shot.

Everyone mongering from long time and involved knows about this. I came to know about this from the agents in those days. They would get girls for around 20 days and keep rotating among these various agents, also across Hyderabad, Chennai and Kerala as well. This is one reason tourism can never become hit in India whatever they try. Foreign tourists need entertainment in all aspect like accommodation, food, and night life. They are not coming to see the sun and moon from India.
