I do not know the individuals involved, but I do feel that it's not fair to generalise, and typecast all WGs as heartless. There are umpteen cases of WGs finally settling down, after falling in love. They are not physiologically and psychologically built differently by nature than other women. So I personally believe that we should not be so insensitive.

My advice is he shouldn't do it. We see movies and hear stories of people being selfless and going the extra mile to help other people and everything turns out alright in the end. But in real life, things are a bit different. Following are the reasons why I feel he shouldn't marry a SW (I don't know either persons and am just being speculative so that the concerned person may take the right call.).

1. She's using you as a stepping stone to a better lifestyle. No one wants to be a SW forever, the money will eventually stop coming in and she'll get old. So the need to settle down and a stable life may be driving her to marry an ex client.

2. Let's say her intentions are clean and you guys get married, there's always the risk of one person finding out the truth about her past life and that coming to bite you in the ass. That one friend of your dad's maternal cousin's neighborhood might be an ex client and may spill the beans.

3. The relationship will always be unequal as you'll know her past and she'll know that you know her past. Such things are likely to come out when the two people disagree on important matters. And don't forget that she has the option to out herself to your family if you don't toe her line.

4. Constant mental pressure. If I were in your place, after marriage I would be constantly wondering what my wife is doing back home. Is she still in contact with her clients? Do they have her number? She may think the same of you as you met her as a SW, whether you are in contact with any of the other SW you frequented and whether you still meet them.

These are just a few points from the top of my head. I just want you to be careful and not make a huge mistake. She might be the best wife and life companion, I'm just speculating what all might happen. One last advice is use protection regardless whether her tests are positive or negative. Some infections take time to detect. Just be careful.
