Your advice is proper. I will do little modification. Yes he should not be panic. After 4 week go for PCR test which tests direct presence of DNA of virus. It is available only at SRL Ranbaxy. Dr Lal also does, but only for HIV 1 I guess. Not HIV 2. You know two types HIV virus. After three weeks our body produces antibodies. If HIV enters your body antibodies will be there after three months. So go for another test after 3 months. That is test is presence of antibodies. That is the common test for HIV, any place you can do. Better at blood banks of medical college. But again repeat it in 6 months. As some people's boy have late response to HIV. Means they are late to produce antibodies.

Another fact I will clarify each and every people in this world are prone to HIV, because their immune system doesn't and cannot have antibodies for HIV. It takes three months for production of Antibodies. That is the reason most tastes fine after three months.
