Last time quite long ago though, my flight got cancelled in calcutta and I was stranded for a night, I enquired the airport helpdesk for some decent hotel and they gave me a hotel named "airport hotel", it was quite a small place but decent (I was studying at that time and budget was tight). Hi, I am visiting Kolkata on the first week of August. Researched the whole Kolkata pages and found that there are no comfortable mongering places other than Sonagachi (correct me if I am wrong).

Sonagachi is a public red light area with some good houses as mentioned in the previous posts. As for me, it is ok as I shall have the freedome to choose from a broad range of girls. Went to kolkata and went to gachi 4 times. Apart from wonderful exerience in prem bandhan (which my fellow mongers have already described) I found the darjeeling girls in the kothi mentioned in one of the earlier threads.
