I finally decided to go ahead with the Russian and Thai spa in Calangute which is also the branch of Flora spa in alto Porvorim. The modus operandi of these guys is simple. Give an ad on skokka.com and other similar places suggesting extra services are available. If someone calls they immediately respond with suggestive pictures of pretty girls sent on your WhatsApp along with a list of "services "available.

But the shock comes when you hand over the amount of Rs 2500 at the counter. You are taken to an unhygienic dingy dark room where small sections are separated by curtains and all you get is substandard massage for about twenty minutes. They do not have even a decent place to shower after the massage. The masseuse refuses point blank to do any thing other than the perfunctory massage.

When the massage was going on I heard another customer in the adjoining section complaining about the scam too. For 2500 you get a massage which would not be worth more than 500.

So every one beware of this giant hoax.

Has anyone tried Flora spa behind HDFC bank in Porvorim.

They offer extra services when you call them on phone but payment is in advance at the counter before you see the therapist.

Am thinking of trying. But not sure of quality.

I was inside a club like this before covid with hefty entrance fee (like 2 k). Girls are hot, crowd increases by 12 midnight. Its a hassle to hunt at 2 am and no way economical / guarantee that you will be laid for the night. Its too much work with little to no return. I heard every rate card of above 25 k.

That is why, I always say, bring your own company to Goa. Searching in Goa is not an easy task as a tourist.

You are in Goa, you hit the beaches during the day and wonder what to do at night. Your days are almost pretty much set, lazing around the beaches and gulping ice cold beer. Some adventurous ones may even try the watersports to capture some Goa Moments. If you are like me, you would be lying on the sofa and checking out those newly married girls with forearm full of red bangles and wearing evening gown (some maybe for the first time) under blazing afternoon noon sun. You would need some activities for the night, so you decide to hit some night clubs. You walk around your resort with your buddies in-tow hoping to find one that hosts few members of the opposite sex in the dance floor. Some in-house clubs reject you outright because you are not well dressed enough or because you are male, some may charge you a pretty high admittance fee. One after the other you trudge along until you see a club with a Russian girl handling ticketing duty. You pay a high entrance fee, thinking more russian girls will be there in the club. You may not know, but this could be a good decision. You and your buds enter the dance floor. The DJ is playing trance music. You find some head bangers and foot tappers on the dance floor. If you are early say 9 pm, you may find some food counters, after 10 pm, they only serve overpriced drinks. By 11 pm you may find some russian girls enter the dance floor. Some indian girls may also enter the club's, some alone, some with their male companion. By 12 DJ no 2 would be blasting more of those techno shitt and you will find the dance floors with more hand wavers and head bangers. If you are like me, wondering what the hell am I doing, you will be standing in some corner checking out those russian dancers while nursing the beer I got in exchange for my cover ticket. Occasionally the hookha guy comes to you asking if you want hooka. The beer would have given you confidence and you will continue to checkout the girls while trying to mimic the dance floor head nodders and feet shufflers. By 1 am you will have second thoughts about stating or leaving to salvage the night and get well deserved sleep. Going now will be a big mistake. You would think, nothing good ever happens after 2 a. M like in HIMYM series and would call it a night. Big mistake my friends because you would miss out on what happens after 2 am. Around 2 am, or maybe a bit earlier, the scene chances to the other side and I will not have any time and. The patient ones gets rewarded. The lights are dimmed and the guy who hawked for hookah may try to sell you some hookers. All your glances at the fairer sex has not gone unnoticed my friends and you are offered a different menu and price tag. Negotiation are sometimes welcome. If you are a regular, your negotiations start early in night, so you can get the first dibs. Legend has it that the successful ones have been seen next day in the beach with their conquests enjoying massage on the beach.

The above information are based on observation and I have not negotiated. Heard that the price is upwards 50 k and much more as per the demand. This is beyond my budget and I come to Goa for its beach and not it's bitchess. So use this information and report if it matches your experience. Too drunk to notice the names of clubs. See russian girls in crowd without men, hear techno music this most likely would be a hookup bar. Be patient and return with the price if budget is not a concern. Happy clubbing.

Yes, after collecting the baggage just before stepping out of the airport there is a guy sitting 24 x 7 who checks everyone. (I was at the seating area from 3 am to 8 am but he did not move once).

Either the individual should have 2 doses or RTPCR report.

Either the individual should have 2 doses or RTPCR report.

They check just before you exit the airport. You can show soft copy. You will show your vaccine completion certificate and your girl will show the rt PCR test. They will check if it is within 72 hrs. So take note of that as well.
