I had searched for few hotels in makemytrip & others, but I saw some of them highlighting that they will not accept local ID. Is it true? There are a lot of question like should I go for 5 Star Hotel or even 3 or 4 Star will work?

Secondly, I also wanted to know if I need to take my GF alongwith me during check-in or can I take her to the room after I check in? Which would ideal?
