Hi Senior members in this Forum,

I have a question.

So I was a part of this Forum in 2007-2008 period and was invited to a members meet in a prominent hotel bar in Koymbdu, Back then there used to be such invite based meetings where we all used to meet and discuss our experiences and share our stories. The senior members would guide the newbies and indulge in networking. It was so long ago that I remember the meeting but don't remember the names or if this is even the right forum to ask this question. To the senior members I was wondering if you know any such meet ups or heard about such an event taking place.

I am asking this question just to refresh my memory and see if any of you know of such events.

I would say this is a wise and welcoming verdict from Madras HC. The police are the only guys who think they rule Chennai, by harassing anyone who does prostitution. Prostitution is actually legal in India when done in a private place by the lady. But these policemen act as if they are gods, walk in any spa and arrest the girls as well as harass the clients without any proper proof or warrant. Only after arrest, they will create an evidence.

Also, another good verdict by Mardas HC is that when a couple ended a live-in relationship, the girl can't book [CodeWord123] charges. (previously, the girl can book [CodeWord123] charges against the man). If this goes on this way, Soon I think our judicial system will be wise to understand that sex is a basic need of a man so give provision for legalized brothels like Amsterdam brothels. Prices will also come low and we can take an indie home for just 3 k full night. [CodeWord124] will reduce & [CodeWord912] can be stopped.

The present prostitution laws are very funny to read. Immoral tracking act 1956 & Prevention of immoral trafficking act 1986 say prostitution is legal but brothels are illegal. The only legal way is the girl operating herself in her own private place. Other than this, practicing in a brothel, pimping, openly advertising in public is illegal.

I have few doubts about this:

1) Without the girl advertising herself online or pimping, how will she get clients?

2) 99% of girls are into this for money. How can she afford her own place to do business. If some guy lends her a place, then its illegal, Is this ridiculous?

3) If we guys refer, then it's illegal. See'Mon. How can she get more clients if we don't refer?

Still I believe, the entire authority if with the police and not with the lady or the client. If more power is given to us, then it would be worry-free from LE bribes.
