In any case you are already doing the rounds of the country, so enjoy Mumbai when you get there next week. With twenty million or so, the odds are even better I should think.

Not sure of the point you are making... The number of posts is not an indication of being clever or smart or knowledgeable, it just reflects the fact that you or I have bothered to sit down at a terminal and spend a few minutes typing in some hopefully useful information to share with others.

I'm not saying BKK is not easy to get laid, but the issue there is quality ie you can pick up a girl very easily but you may not have a great time. I recently visited Pattaya and remember standing thinking 'Am I the only person who can't get laid in Pattaya?', and that was due to my needing to know just a little bit more about how it all worked... For someone coming from Des Moines, Iowa - Midwest redneck country - I would say that Delhi has potential, but as Gos says, Bangkok is not a fair yardstick to compare India's capital city for mongering. Your linguist makes his point and then helps out privately. The bottom line is that Mouse1 would understand that there are friends here in Delhi, even if he ends up getting laid properly only in eternal Mumbai, and there is always BKK to go back to!

No offense taken Mouse, as you say, you do know your situation better than others and in your case you're possibly right in not getting much from (my) posts on this board.

It is different from Bangkok here, no doubt. If you're staying at a 5-star then you'll certainly get stag admission into the hotel's own club - this may not be of value to you though as the better 5-stars have figured out ways to dissuade professional girls from frequenting their clubs.

The only reason I highlighted the number is that it takes time and the willingness to share which makes people write here, so a hundred plus is a lot by India standards (Santa, Patros and JSF being exceptions). That for me makes a monger very deserving of help, considering also the time constraint on a short trip. I did help him via PM. been there and done that. midweek it was probably less of a cruising place, though the food was good and the beer expensive. for someone so obviously foreign like me there was no luck whatsoever, so i just enjoyed the food and drink and left. the food in the tapas at janpath's jaypee hotel is better value.

That place has lots to offer and entry is free, no cover charges. This information is based on my last visit two months back and i dont think things would have changed.

It is no longer Tapas lounge. Now it is Sushi bar with a totally new concept. No more hiphop music. Very very less NE girls there nowadays, monday night is Jazz night and some other nights for the rest of the week but fri and sat are no longer hiphop dance nights. Hope this little info helps.

There may not be names and phone numbers - you need to invest time and money, but the information is all here.

Without wishing to be in any way disrespectful, I suggest that you re-read your own posts (as I just have) and consider afresh how much practical advice is actually there. In all honesty there was about 1 line posted in 2004 that was useful to me personally (referring to the cost of FS in a MP).

I can read the ads in the HT and just for fun have negotiated a night with a college student for 10,000R's, but I know enough to know that the reality, if I took it up, would be less than satisfactory, ie it would cost more, she wouldn't be a college student and she certainly wouldn't stay the night. Equally I could go to a MP if someone could recommend just one address or contact number, but frankly don't have the time or cash to investigate all the possibilities.
