Has someone travelled to Philippines recently? I am confused about the Visa on arrival there. Does Philippines have a Visa on arrival for Indians (with US Visa). Some sites say it has if you have a US or a UK Visa. However, its confusing.

Its better you get a visa from India then go or I think a Singapore tourist visa also works but unsure. You need to have a tourist visa not other types from US which should be stamped maybe to enter. Embassy is a bit rude but issues visa no problem.

Allow me to inform everyone that Pandemic led to depletion of this hotel quality and services.

I know one of the partners of this property. The entire family was at loggerheads with other partners and were not at all keen on opening it and then upgrading the facilities. They have incurred a loss in 2 years and simply not interested to invest to improve the overall services and rooms. No, the owners are not involved in any of the shit that goes in the property but have shut their eyes.

I too have been there but not for mongering, for a coffee and sometimes to their gym; pre pandemic. It is centrally located and hence suited me.

Yes, I agree with Starlord whatever hes shared as it has really gone down in the pits but that is after it reopened after lockdowns.

Hope it clears a few airs about this property.

I have been there quite a many times and there's no debating that with each passing year the property is degrading. Earlier the appeal was of fucking women left, right and centre but when the vanity wore off I realized its just a shadow of it's former self, nothing but a high end brothel. Foreigners, Indians, trans, CIS, no matter the type, its all there. Its great if you are into bird watching and hunting but the problem is the property is way over priced and is at absolute zero in terms of Value for Money. The hotels over at Aerocity, though significantly costlier, are way better in providing a VFM hotel experience. Every single one of them.

The staff here is anything but courteous. Quite rude Ill say, bordering on arrogant. The bell boys are useless, don't bother tipping them for any info regarding birds, they aren't in the chain.

The rooms are okay. Ish in size if you're travelling single, but they are old. Like the switches and plug points might work or not, the TVs are fat LCDs of yester year with limited channels, the taps and shower fitting might be leaking or not have enough water pressure, might not even heat up. The air conditioner makes noises and it's controls are stupid. No amenities in the room, heck, no towels unless asked for! Clogging bathrooms, dusty linen, and the prices for IRD with the sort of taste their chef manages to cook up and the time they take to bring it to your room, I can't even! The breakfast spread is quality over quantity. The waiters are inexperienced or incoherent. The whole restaurant is quite small with space so less you might feel claustrophobic. The worst part, all the rooms are non damn smoking! I mean come on!

If we can bat an eye at all of that, the hotel is pure bliss in terms of mongering. Many a SP popular on this forum, SP's on MR, some indi's, even some high end Trans women use this hotel to conduct their business. I guess the owner's in on it, who knows? Who cares actually? Anyways, you can always explore and directly hook up in the hotel but the chances are slim due to lack of common areas. I have had some success in this area, thrice to be exact but it requires tons of courage and you got to be at the top of your game and in my experience the hassle is not worth it if we end up paying for her anyways.

One good thing about Royal Plaza is the elevators don't require key cards. Your bird, if decent and proper, can walk straight up to your room without anyone batting a eyelid.
