How much time have you got before you get to Jakarta? You coud always use Tinder as an initail means of finding girls and doing some culling before you hit Jakarta. Pay for a months memebership, set yourself up as in Jakarta and away you go. Find a couple of possible candidates, have a couple of "interview" sessions and take the one you like. Sounds rather crude and direct, but the girls on Tinder tend to be only after one thing as well. If your time is short be direct in your intro on Tinder, saying what you are after. You will still get hits. On the other hand you could set yourself up as being in Bali and use t to find girls there.

I have always used Tinder or other similar dating apps only when I am in the city. From what I have heard, most of the girls who area clearly into it for the money, do not like waste time chit chatting with potential customers who may or may never show up. They don't like to be auditioned.

OTOH I believe websites like Indonesian Cupid might hold more promise for this MO.

I have read on the forum that CJ'S and Bats is a good place to find Freelancers. I am going to Bali for a few days after I leave Jakarta. I am thinking of maybe taking a freelancer with me rather than hunting about in Bali. What's the daily rate for a freelancer if I pay all expenses like flights, hotels, food, drink and all entertainment costs.

Aren't you only in Jakarta 3 days? You won't likely have time to find a girl to go to Bali with you in that short time frame. It's a big gamble taking a girl to Bali that you just met.

If you do find one you like enough to take to Bali, it depends how much the girl likes you. Most girls will go to Bali for free (other than you paying all expenses) if they really like you. You may need to pay up to 1 million for "oleh oleh" (gifts) for their family and friends, but won't have to pay them a salary. If they don't really like you, then 2 million rupiah per day for a BATS or CJs girl. I have never given any girl that much, but that is worst case scenario.

If I recall, you mentioned you paid a BATS girl 2.5 million. If you are paying them that much, they will follow you pretty much anywhere.

When I have free lancers come to a place that far away and only pay them 1 million or less for their services, I normally give them an extra 100k for taxi. If they are getting 1.5 million or more, they already have their taxi money.

Sort of depends what you promise her when she gets to Kelapa Gading, If You tell her you caught a lizard it may not work. If it's shopping at Mall Kelapa Gading then you might get your girl.

Can you recommend any places worth visiting in the Kelapa Gading area? I m now thinking about spending a further 2 nights in Jakarta on the return leg of my trip so could possibly check out this area then.

As Smoothy said, Kings Cross Sumo and MTR2. Then you are 10 minutes by Ojek from the Tanjung Priok bars, Rawa Malang if your budget is low and plenty of massage with ++ available at the block named Ruko Gading Bukit Indah which is 400 meters from Santika hotel My Place and some others and then a golf driving range around 200 meters further down from the Kings Cross, Sumo area.

Kelapa Gading is not a bad destination for our craft. It is also the food epicentre of Jakarta with hundreds of restaurants. Sarang Oci is very good for fish and Manado cuisine.

Thanks for the info. I know you can search online for hotels but you can't beat a recommendation, a good breakfast is a must after a big night out.

Traffic is not a huge issue if you are staying in that part of Jakarta and wanting to visit the major brothels. Travel Hotel to Classic is a 5 minute ojek ride even with traffic. Travel to Kota Indah is at most 10 minutes on an ojek. Later in the evening (even early evening) traffic is non issue in that part of the city.

King's Cross, MTR2, and D'Heaven. Sumo is also good. They are all right next to each other. You can walk from one to the other in a minute.
