On the att network in Medellin my ihpone worked great. I make calls and receive calls and it all shows up like normal (like in the states) even texts. But the charges are thru the roof. So I just stuck to texting.

Is there a way that I can set up the phone so that people calling me don't know that I am outside of the U. S? I live alone but relatives call me all the time and I don't want them to hear the international ring tone beep. I wouldn't really pick up though. I also want to see if there is a way that if I call them from overseas it shows my number. Not sure if I am making any sense here.

Last month at MIA airport I met a guy that was also going to the DR. He was going to Santo Domingo to purchase heavy duty equipment to ship to Haiti. As I said "She still does everything, she just does it under the radar now." She's much less visible, gone from RL, gone from CC and her friend list on FB went from over 150+ to just 38. In addition to the one gringo who has her on lockdown, there are a total of 2 other mongers. That total used to be much higher.

Her profile photo is of her with said gringo so he's quite clearly marked his territory. Yes she still works, works often. But unless you have contact info, you have to be subtle about contacting her, she has it pretty good right now.

Same can also be said of Carolina, the cutie with the split lip. She is also on WU retainer by an American currently living in Tokyo.
