This was my first trip to Colombia. I spent nearly four weeks in Bogota, Cartagena, and Medellin. I started and finished my adventure in Bogota.

Yesterday was my last full day in Bogota. Since I feel more frisky in the day, I went searching for a place that could satisfy my daytime needs. On earlier days, I had gone to Santa Fe (trip report pending) , but I wanted something different.

As I looked through World Travel 69's Bogota list, one location for daytime mongering stood out: Carrera 15 and Calle 104, a /k/a, the Mezzanine. There were five separate listings for this address on the Bogota list so it appeared to be a "target rich" location.

For those who are unfamiliar with the "Mezzanine" location, it's at the intersection of Carrera 15 and Calle 104. The Hotel Dann Carlton and a commercial building are on one corner and diagonally across the intersection is a 3-story red brick facade building with a mezzanine level. This is the "Mezzanine" and my destination. On the street level, there are several retail stores. The corner store is Henry's Tobacco Store and the stairs for the mezzanine is located next to this store.

My plan was to check out location # 8 in the mezzanine and work my way through the list checking out the chicas in every mezzanine location. Before I could get to # 8, I walked passed # 6 which had its door slightly open and a beautiful chica spotted me. She smiled and beckoned me inside. Since I found her very attractive, my plan to check out the chicas at the other places on the mezzanine wasn't going to happen.

Seven chicas work at # 6, but only five were present. It was noontime. The one who beckoned me was the prettiest of the five so I had no hesitation to agree to a session. The full-meal deal would cost me COP$80,000 (US$45).

I initially Came to Bogota and met my novia A from another town and we went to the Santa Marta area for a week. She is retired and just waits for me. Nice Hotel nice beaches very safe. Thanks to another Monger for recommendation of a great hotel at 50k a night. 1/2 a block from the beach. This town is definitely a party beach and town. The hotel is ½ a block from the beach and has many stores for provisions etc. Within a 3 minute walk.

Week 2 I sent novia A back to her town from Bogota and awaited 30 minutes for B. Many of you know her from St Martin El Capitan last month and Campo. A Superstar. Unfortunately there was an accident and she missed her plane.

As you walk down the mezzanine the head chica looks out a crack in the door and through a one way mirror. You sit on a massage table and the chicas parade by and you pick one. There are 5 massage parlors open that week. With 6-7 chicas each. The price is fixed at all parlors at 70. 000 for one hour. I skipped the massage and got straight to business. IMO this place is SO OVER PRICED it is offensive! I could stay in the states and get the same level service for the price they charge. Plus the legendarily poor ROBO-Chica service you get from those stuck up girls.

Great Value here: Mezzane on Carrea 15, Calle 104, It's up on the second floor over some normal shops and businesses. Plus from what I've learned here is that there are TWO different places a few door a part so you can shop around!
