Thanks for the info. Not speaking Portuguese I honestly wasn't sure what was required and thought I had read on the posts that it was 100 for the house and 50 for the garota. Oh well threw 50 away there but lost more in Vegas last week in one blackjack hand and certainly as not much enjoyment. But good advice for others. As for strip clubs, try the places on Princessa Isabel like Frank's Place. Barbarellas (haven't been inside for more 5 years now) have mostly GDPs in sexy street clothes dancing but I don't think they encourage them to take their clothes off. It is also very dark inside. Termas like 4x4, Monte Carlo & L'oumo occasionally have girls put on shows. I saw some fine dancing at 502 and Club Aquarius (probably has a different name now) in Centro.

Friday night.

Thought I would hit it again a little later this time to see what that was like. I was not as happy though due to the fact that you end up sword fighting with other guys over girls. To start, I have to say this about my first time to 4 X 4. Nobody warns you about the 5 flights of stairs you have to walk! Haha. Thursday I was there at 3:30 based on Don's recommendation. Great advice. So I got there (a bit tricky but Bubba's guide helps immensely) and of course had no idea where I was going once inside so I just started following stairs and finally was stopped when I tried to walk to the Sauna floor as I had to check in to get my key and change. I was put in the dressing room through the cave walkway. If you go there, note how shiny the rocks on that wall are. Clearly a reflection of how many people have walked past and touched them, much like a bronze statue has shiny spots on it where folks have continuously touched.

After changing, putting my camera and condoms in my robe pockets, I headed to the sauna. (Note for the other heavier guys out there, they have large robes for us! Thinking ahead!) Being the obvious gringo I am, I was escorted with a rather ugly girl to the VIP lounge. Seeing that there were only 2 girls in there it clicked that I was being played. So I indicated with my hands that I wanted to big room, she brought me back to the main area where you check in and I asked again for the main area and made my way in. Good space, did some chatting and had a beer. After chatting with a few I found my girl and was led through the maze again to the "First time Gringo" room. Aka the VIP suite. I told her I did not want that room and wanted the regular cabine. I would not have known what to look for unless I had seen other post photos of the cabine rooms, so thank you for that.

4 X 4 was full of men when I arrived at 8 30PM with probably 10 girls in the boate. Got a drink and had a brief chat with the menina I banged last week. No. 4x4 & BelPrazer are only open weekdays. Termas L'uomo seems to be the best option for Sundays though it is by no means cheap.

This is my favorite place so far. As soon as I walked in, I noticed karen. She had the kind of booty that does not make sense on a girl. Here is a bit of advice. Open an online savings account with HSBC. Get an ATM card. It's all free. They have HBSC branches in Brazil. Then you can transfer money from your bank account back home via the web. It takes 3 business days for the transfer to go through. You could have had money sitting in the account for such emergencies and not have to take a big hit on fees from Western Union and you will more than likely get a better exchange rate at HSBC ATMs then at the Cambios. At least I have in the past.

Actually I've been to Bel Prazer quite a few times. I must have bad luck as I never got your deal of R$80/90 minutes...
In March the prices were R$ 80/40 min, R$ 100/60 min. Maybe they lowered the prices.

I banged a model type 21 why old. 175cm tall, great legs, and smoking body for R$100 at Bel yesterday. I usually keep a little mini bar bottles refill with a $50 Malt Wiskey when heading to these places. I drank two skols in the basement cafetaria of Bel Prazer building. Bought two more skols and took the elevators. Second best session of this trip. Took a cab back home. Total damage 100 (1hr) + 50 (completa) + 12 (skol) + 15 (cab) = 178 Reals. Better deal and adventure than Karla's. During the last 3 years, I have been to Centaurus about 5 times and this session can easily beat all 5 of them. Its not the amount of money, its the level of satisfaction that counts for me.

I was laughing again when I was prepared a financial statement of my expenses because it was almost equivalent to last year. I booked my trip this year with (30k dep + 20ret) 50, 000 AAmiles + aprox $50 charges for the ticket. Last year, I purchased a ticket for about $1275. If I factor in the saving of $1275 for a ticket, the stolen money didn't caused me much harm. I use my corporate credit card to make bulk purchase for the company and receive alot of miles. I still got about 120, 000 left. I always plan my trip six months and advance when buying with miles. I bought this ticket during one week after 2011 new years and easily got the non stop flight with the lowest miles. It's very difficult to pull that off even during three to four months in advance.

After I had this great session, I decided to get back to Copa. Another good decision I made this trip. My apartment is 1 block from Copacabana palace. When I used to live near posto six, it used to cost me 5-8 reals more on centro cab rides and I always had to get a cab from the taxi mafia after I head home with a balcony puta. Balcony is 4 blocks away and Copacabana palace area is loaded with police cars front and back so your having a safe walk with plenty of lights around. The area is very much alive till 4AM. Also, it costs me R$15 for a cab ride to or from Centro places.

Last evening, I decided to take a nap and scan the balcony talent at late night. I got up at 12AM, and reached balcony at 1AM. Now I know why at 10PM yesterday it was dead. All the main tourist crowd hit balcony after midnight so the putas that consider themselves elite class arrive after 12AM. If you really want to have a nice session with a balcony chik, make your selection during balcony's happy hours between 1AM to 2AM. Putas are mostly sober and you can predict the wickedness from their atitude at that time. From 1:30 till 3:30AM, I was dancing in La Dolce Vita. Top to bottom of balcony, there were atleast five to seven hot ones and ten nice looking chiks at 1AM. However, the number start dropping by the minutes. At 3:30AM, there were only 5 doable's which were reserved.

I always go to 4 x 4 on Friday because its on its full swing that day. Tonight is my 4 x 4 night. I promised a nice 175cm tall hot Amazonian type chick name viviane for a session today. This girl doesn't last 5 mins in the boate and get picked up the moment she shoes up. She can easily be on the Brasil Playboy magazine. My friend Gustavo says ", you have to visit Villa Mimosa. This is where all the locals go. You have never seen more GDP's in one place. And imagine, they will give themselves to you for less than 50 R$ (35 USD$). Come on, you just have to see it" I am thinking why not? Gus hails a cab and the two of us are on our way to Rio's red light district. It borders a favila (Slum) in north Rio and is one of the seediest places I have ever been.

Villa Mimosa is not a place to take a prom date. If you are in Rio and are on a shoe string budget visit this place. If you have more $$$ go to the Termas.
