In Marrakesh we visited Zanazibar a local pick up haunt for Mongers. Now this is where I would like to make a point about Mongering in this country! I think people who fly in for a few days really need to appreciate how much they are destroying the local mongering scene in Morocco. In Zanzibar we met Spaniards who were priced out of it and a depressed Belgian who had bought an apartment but couldn't afford the girls any more. Now I don't know the rate of inflation in this country but the prices of girls have doubled and tripled in the past 2 or 3 years. I don't think Morocco has 2 ha00-300%inflation somehow. People are not negotiating and destroying the market for everybody else. NOBODY should pay more that 50euros to any girl in this country. Anyone who thinks the service will improve with more money is just feeding the habit! Don't give in to their games. They are being spoiled!

There is no Zanzibar local pick up for mongers in marrackech, may be is known with a different name.

Apartment: If you have not rented an apartment before leaving, you can find it easily, by asking some guy at the mac donald's or along the avenue mohammed V (in the late afternoon is the best time). Also the girls know where you can rent it. Pay attention to the safety of the apartment and talk to the doorman of the building (give him 100 MAD)

Trasportation: best to rent a car to avoid being held hostage by taxi drivers.

Places to go:

- during the day leave your shyness at home and walk down gueliz near the mac donalds. There you can meet some girls (non pros)

-in the evening:

Montecristo is a bar restaurant (high level of girls every day but specially in the week-end)

African chic is a discobar with live music (medium level of girls but best music, more happy and relaxed and cheaper)

Discoteques:

Le paradise, this is the place where every working girl goes (95% pros) , It is a good place for quantity (20 in the week day and 70 in the week-end) and quality (from 6 to 8 and some 9). You can choose and enjoy the beauty.

Another disco is the Silver (I don't like).

Yasmine is the place that closes latest in the night (6. 00 am). It worth a visit.

Marakesh is a good place to monger. People will always help you, if you are discreet and respectful. Price are around 1000 MAD all night and if you want a LT relation the next day is included in the price.

Try to be strong because the moroccan girls are very hot.

I saw many apartements for 50$ per night on the internet. Do you have something decent for that price (correct bathroom, good location, etc)?

Did you feel safe walking in the streets with a girl which could look like a hooker? I mean, do we have to worry about that with the police?

Tonight I'll go out for the first time and know from my previous experience in Agadir that the time to get to the night club-bars is crucial since many start to fill up with girls quite late and arriving early is a waist of time.

As your time permits, please post your findings. I will be heading there the beginning of December, and really want to know what's going on. The Marrakesh info is kinda dated. One of the things that concerns me about Marrakesh is that in the part of the world where I am currently at, I am long sleep by the time action starts, so trying to adjust is for a week is going to be difficult. In your time there, please say if you find in daytime options.

Hey Guys, I am planning a trip to Marrakech in December. If anyone has any solid info on an apartment rental in Gueliz please pm me. I have RTFF and although the area of where to rent is mentioned, no links has been submitted. I am looking for nice apartment to stay in for about a week, one where I won't have to deal with hassles of doormen, guards, etc or if so, atleast they no what's up.
