If I recall correctly, the heating units in the showers at Tigresas are similar to those in the Cabines at 4x4. If so, there is a slide switch near the top of the unit. Slide to the left for hot.

Minor note: You should not adjust the switch on the electric shower head / hot water heater while the water is running.

Tigresas is excellent as it's a privê that works 100% correctly. The clock starts ticking after the girl returns to the room ready for action. Let me start with yesterday evening, which was spent partly in 4x4. This is a great report about Tigresa! I am definitely going out to Saens Pena on the next trip, and patrolling back through Masagem Tijucas, and the other periferia prives. I had a impression of Tijuca formed by the area around Motel Malaga, which was not so positive. I think Tijuca bears better patrolling.

Went to T65 at around 7PM, the receptionist thought it was my first time in a Termas and explained the whole thing to me. They have a nice printed schedule of prices, showing totals for various options. Cabine for 40 mins is 340 Reais and 400 for 1 hr.

Two ladies in the locker room, one explained things in English and asked me to come back down there if I wanted more info, was a bit hard to put the camera in the robe as I was the only one at that time in the room.

The whole place is more upscale than 4x4 and I guess that commands the premium in the pricing. I specially like that fact that there are doors to the showers and I don't have to watch 'beary' asses being washed. Unfortunately when I came out of the shower, I saw them being dried. However I felt that the clientele was more higher-end businessmen rather than the chest-baring types seen in 4x4 (sorry for too many comparisons to 4x4, it is after all my favorite termas) The girls were also helpful, with one translating and then later helping the timekeeping lady to confirm how long and which cabin I wanted while I was in the waiting room. Also strangely, the girl took my key and then it was returned to me later when leaving the cabine.

I wish I lived here (but not with the frustrations I have here in day-to-day life, another post) so that I can do something similar to your plan but it is not possible.
