I've heard many a thai girl say they want notheing to do with indians. There has got to be more than the odor thing. Can someone start a list of what th e indians did to be so hated by sweet thai girls.

List of things I've heard. I don't know if they are true or not. These behaviours are associated with a minority. However, they get associated with all the good people and everyone suffers.

1. BO.

2. Cheap Charlies. No tips etc.

3. Treat the girls like shit.

4. Low class background.

5. Owns many prime properties Like Patpong etc.

6. Thai Air (Extra cheap airfares so even the poor people in India can take a trip to LOS)

7. 4 for 1. I gets the girl to the room and 3 other come out of the closet to have a gang bang. No extra money for the girls.

8. Abusive in some cases. I know of one who was proud of it and a Professor in US University to boot. Fucking asshole.

That's all I know. Maybe others can chime in. And yes being an Indian myself I am ashamed of these people.

When TGs ask me I say I am an American or Canadian (depending on the political climate). LOL.

There is so much of discrimination against Indians in Thailand. I first went to Bangkok and I did not have a good time. So I decided to come to Pattaya on the fly. It is not better here.

Let me tell a little about my self. I am in my early thirties, in great health, work out pretty much every day and I am in great athletic shape. I take care of myself very well. I have been living in the US for the last decade or so. I make good money and have a healthy mongering budget. I have read the forum and realize there are bad perceptions about the Indians, for right or wrong reasons. All I know is that I did not do anything to contribute to that but I am having to pay the price.

You are right. Your predecessors have made the bad reputation. I have been to LOS many times. At first there were some discrimination but only at the entrance to some clubs. Who cares.

If you were expecting to land up and go to a brothel, you got it wrong. This is not a brothel. But rather a meat market, buying and selling services. First, one has to sit back and study the field. Make some friends with these girls. Once you get a friend then have them get their friends to be your friends. See where I am going here? (However, be careful and make sure they know you are a butterfly or you will incur the wrath of the first one.) Sex and GF experience will follow. Have a good attitude.

Showing a lot of money will always attract a lot of smiling girls. Aaah, here's an ATM.

Learn about the people and their culture. Try to speak their language or at least some words and phrases. If you are always a horndog, you will not have a good experience. Treat them with respect and your mileage will go a long way.

I have friends for the last 10-15 years. Even though I have not been able to go for the last 2 years, I know that once I land there and call them, they will come over. And I don't pay them thousands of Bahts. They spend time with me and I love their company.

So get over the fact that they discriminate. Look at yourself and see what you can do from your side. I too live in US and I see the discrimination here too (but not very openly). You want a brothel go to FKK Clubs in Germany, Geylang in Singapore or Beatles Club in Costa Rica. But Thailand, my friend is a total experience. You can get the best and the worst. As they say, up to you.

Reading the forum I can gather why Indians have a bad reputation. There are legitimate reasons for some of the discrimination that happens. No girl wants to sleep with someone who has bad body odor no matter how much money is offered. And acting like a cheap charlie is one other reason that has been offered.

What I have been offended with is the broad generalization that is applied to all who look like Indians. Like I said, I had nothing to contribute to the reputation that Indians have, good or bad. When I am on a vacation I like to be treated as a person and not as a "broad generalization".

That being said, I know you can have a good time. Of the 7 or more days I spent here, I also had a few days when I great time with some nice Thai girls. What I detested was the effort I had to go through to prove that I am 'datable'. For example, When I went to Secrets, I dropped 800 baht in the first 5 mins in buying drinks to the girls there and the hostess. I went to Secret when the customer crowd was small so I would be noticed. After I did that, I found all the girls there smiling at me and showing interest in wanting to be with me. But the selection was not all that great.

What spoilt my Thailand experience for me is that places like Fahrenheit and Alcatraz did not even let me in. So when you feel discriminated like that it affects you. I am a person after all and not a robot. And when things like this happens it stays at the back of your mind and affects your approach. When I am on a vacation and spending money I prefer not to think about all this.

That's perfectly understandable and reasonable. I've had girls turn me down & even had one run away from me when I approached one at Thermae, as soon as I began speaking to her. Maybe she thought I was EI. It can put a damper on the partying, that's for sure.

Regarding other destinations in SE Asia, I am not familiar with the prejudices that other countries have. Perhaps it would be best to inquire on the ISG forums related to those areas and see what the mongers with experience there have to contribute. Though I would suggest it is possible you may find the disadvantages to Thailand are outweighed by its advantages over other nearby destinations. Perhaps you just had a run of bad luck for a bit, as we all do from time to time?

I am pretty much just like you, from India but live abroad, have been to Bangkok twice and experienced absolutely NO discrimination.

I can certainly understand why some Thais may not like Indians' behaviour but thats what happens in Auckland, Sydney and Vancouver too. Perhaps you did not do a read up and land landed in wrong places. I will be visiting shortly and post my reports but if you read my previous reports, there was no problem at all.

But I want to get out of Thailand as soon as possible. Any suggestions by the members here as to where I can go in south east Asia and have a good time. I have money to spend but unfortunately the Thai girls don't want it. How is Jakarta? Do Indians have a bad reputation there as well?

Smelling like curry sauce from 10 feet away could be another issue. Even then, though, I'm sure there are many TGs who would still take your money, if you are friendly, reasonable & generous.

What you say is absolutely true. The prejudice against Indians is absolutely senseless for obvious reasons (how can they hate Indians and have Ganesh and Shiva statues all over the place) , but it is there. Have you looked into the Philippines? The girls there don't seem to have any hangups about black Americans, so maybe they are OK with Indians. Jakarta has a pretty limited, though fun scene, but I have no idea about the prejudice factor there.

Thats because you guys are all smokin the wrong stuff.

Very well stated. I quit 12 years ago at the age of 34 and am delighted to be free of cigarettes! You know what got me to quit? My father told me his urologist stated that 75% of the men he treated for impotence in their 50s and 60s were smokers. For me the choice was easy. I would rather screw than smoke. And no, Viagra won't help as the nicotine destroys capillaries.
