What I have been offended with is the broad generalization that is applied to all who look like Indians. Like I said, I had nothing to contribute to the reputation that Indians have, good or bad. When I am on a vacation I like to be treated as a person and not as a "broad generalization".
That being said, I know you can have a good time. Of the 7 or more days I spent here, I also had a few days when I great time with some nice Thai girls. What I detested was the effort I had to go through to prove that I am 'datable'. For example, When I went to Secrets, I dropped 800 baht in the first 5 mins in buying drinks to the girls there and the hostess. I went to Secret when the customer crowd was small so I would be noticed. After I did that, I found all the girls there smiling at me and showing interest in wanting to be with me. But the selection was not all that great.
What spoilt my Thailand experience for me is that places like Fahrenheit and Alcatraz did not even let me in. So when you feel discriminated like that it affects you. I am a person after all and not a robot. And when things like this happens it stays at the back of your mind and affects your approach. When I am on a vacation and spending money I prefer not to think about all this.

There is so much of discrimination against Indians in Thailand. I first went to Bangkok and I did not have a good time. So I decided to come to Pattaya on the fly. It is not better here.
Let me tell a little about my self. I am in my early thirties, in great health, work out pretty much every day and I am in great athletic shape. I take care of myself very well. I have been living in the US for the last decade or so. I make good money and have a healthy mongering budget. I have read the forum and realize there are bad perceptions about the Indians, for right or wrong reasons. All I know is that I did not do anything to contribute to that but I am having to pay the price.
I just started mongering. Before my Thailand trip I went to south America and I had a blast there. I will be traveling some more in south east Asia. But I want to get out of Thailand as soon as possible. Any suggestions by the members here as to where I can go in south east Asia and have a good time. I have money to spend but unfortunately the Thai girls don't want it. How is Jakarta? Do Indians have a bad reputation there as well?
I just started mongering. So I don't want bad experiences here in Thailand to spoil it for me. Of course I will write a report on my experiences in Bangkok and Pattaya and contrast the experience with what I had in south America.
PS: I typed this on a cellphone. So please pardon any typing errors.

My older brother turn 74 last September and has been smoking since he was seventeen was diagnosed with stage 4 throat and lung cancer. Should I be surprise here is a guy that his car ceiling was dripping with nicotine. His whole house when you walk in is dripping with stains of smoke since he never open a window and refuse to smoke outside his own house. He prove that a Oreck air purifier didn't stand a chance after one month I had to clean the exchangers with auto car degreaser and that didn't help much. His favorite line to me and everyone who love him was that it was his life and he was going to do what he wanted he didn't want to quit.
When I flew home after I got the news I saw him in the hospital and although he was only 74 years of age the nurses though he was my mother husband my mother is 93 years old! I know guys who fuck like jack rabbits at D. D. And they are my brothers age. What a waste of life. I've had many conversations through the years about his smoking and when I look in his eyes I see death in his face and that I was right. That no matter how much you want others to believe it is your life and you do as you like! It does affect your love ones! Sure you can wake up one morning and walk out the door and get hit by a car and you die but saying one way or another its going to happen is just the easy excuse that it is just bad for you and everyone around.
I'm going home soon most likely to give the doctors the permission to pull the plug on a life that was destroy early by smoking.

Another, I am enjoy a much better sex life and mongering happy time in Bangkok. On top of that, with a sky high cost of cigarette these days, I can save a lot of money for my mongering trip, at least a round trip ticket LA to BKK per year. So, It is a totally win win for quiting smoking.
