And I wonder why Panamanians still tolerate Norte Americanos as much as they do.

As has been covered here on this forum many times before, Panama City is probably on no one's 'Greatest Mongering Cities on Earth' list, but compared to much of the rest of the world. 1st or 3rd, more than a few of us think it's still pretty damn good. A quick read back through some of your posts over the last year shows a lot of condescending spelling lessons in Spanish for we lesser bilinguals, a fascinating revelation that you are a 'helmet not an ant-eater', and a LOT of trashing of other countries in general such as Mexico. Frankly, my boy, if you treat the ladies the same way you treat your mates here on this website, you just make it all the more difficult for the rest of us fun-loving Punters to have a good time overseas.

When you state 'Panama City is not on my repeat list', I strongly suspect it's a promise more than a few Panamanias and Colombianas you met fervently hope you keep.

I don't know what Dickhead's previous posts were like, but I don't see too much wrong with this one. IMHO, he is doing a lot more to help mongering than hurt it. As for "beating" the cabbie out of a few dollars- he was combating rampant gringo taxing. The taxi ride should have likely been $1. 50 or so, if the thieving taxista gets $6 a few times then his rip-off rate for US guys goes to $8, better to put these thieves in their place early and often in terms of blatant overcharging. Same thing goes for a lot of the girls- over the last 8 years prices have gone way up and attitude and service have gone way down. Treating them like princess primadonnas and paying whatever they ask and many times tipping on top of it is a lot of what has caused both those dynamics.

The climate here is unbearable to me and I am glad I am only spending two days here. I will be back for one night on the way out and will probably go to Veneto. On the plus side this is the cheapest beer I have seen in like 20 years. $2. 94 a six pack plus 10% tax and I like the Balboa, with which I am familiar from some prior trips through the airport. This is my first time in Panamá and I hope the central highlands are better. Panamá City is not on my repeat list.

What was the quality of the talent at Goldfingers? Colombianas or local providers? What did they charge you? What was the ratio of stunners to just average?

Moulin Rouge and Doll House were closed a year ago as a result of a police action. I've seen some cleaning up going on in the respective buildings, so maybe someone else is going to open something up there soon. Based on the history, it's unlikely to be adult entertainment though.
