Some of us are new on the ground in some of these cities and in my case very busy with business and generally wary of certain places (or lazy) but I hear you as far as overpaying. I have partied all over the world and have generally found zero correlation between price and quality of WG and service. Paid $20 in Bangkok for a 10/10 for a full day and was asked for $700 / hr by a pig in LA.
