I've mongered in Tijuana & Mexicali over the last 8 years or so. I've been played the few times that I put myself in that situation. Some advice: If anyone tries to do what I did, remember one thing: These women fuck all of the time because it is their job! They are also scarred from it. There's allot of damage that has to be waded through in getting serious with them. I had to be VERY careful the first 6-months in my relationship, and watch every move she made until I could trust her, and then I always wondered "is this a confidence game for her." It was really two years in to our relationship I knew she was in it for the long haul. I got laid off and was broke. I mean broke. Spent all my pension, everything due to massiove cuts in education. That woman stepped right up, and carried us financially for over a year. It was then I knew she was for real. And of course the wedding. She wept when I proposed to her. Thanks for the information. I'm not averse to getting away from the border. My original plan was to hit Bar San Diego and Establo (but didn't have the right wardrobe apparently) and try other places on the map but on my last trip I got a late start and by the time I had checked out the zona places like Playboy and some other place (and the Gato Negro. I am the Super Gato and must always hit cat-named bars). Bar San Diego and Establo sound a lot like the concepts of some of the places I cut my teeth mongering in Nuevo Laredo when I lived in Texas. I was definitely having flashbacks in Mexicali that were triggered by the summer heat. The whole sex in the privado area at Miau Miau reminds me sort of the clubs in Monterrey except the prices are higher.

I've been so acclimated to the scene in Tijuas that I always have a great time. I'm pretty good at figuring out a girl in the club and so the ones I invite to the room tend to not disappoint. I was in Mexicali a few weekends ago and went back to Miau Miua because the other clubs in the zona area weren't doing anything for me and I've not been disappointed with the talent there (my only complaint is the clubs on that corner don't have the quantity of good talent so if the ones I like are with other pinches chingones I'm SOL. I came to this forum just now to ask what the take out policy was there because when I go there I end up banging a chick in the more private of the privado area and I'm getting too old for the acrobatics of a small booth and prefer a bed.

Well guys it looks like I am now retiring from mongering. I will turn 65 in July and have been mongering in Mexico since 2003. I have done my fair share of 18 to 25 year olds and have a long list of GFE providers that I have developed over the years. I don't know you personally of course, but have read many of your posts. I will tell you my story: Summed up, I did the same as you are doing. I met a stripper in T. J. I have been around Mexico allot, from Ensenada to Tijauna, Penasco, Cancun, etc. With the girl I was dating. We used to travel and follow the tourist events. Had many strippers in my bed. Paying to expedite a passport for just visiting the border towns seems like overkill. Both San Ysidro and Calexico will let you in with just a license and birth certificate or even just a license will suffice. Both crossings have a separate line for people w / o passports / greencards / laser visa (but only open during the day, at night everyone is in the same line). The agent at the desk might give you a card with the acceptable I'd requirements and tell you to get a passport, but if you're a citizen they'll let you in. Just don't be a dick to them. Your mileage may vary if you don't "look like an American" though.

I recommend getting a passport card and applying the regular non-expedited way. When I did it a few years ago, it took 2 weeks. Like a regular passport it lasts 10 years. I keep mine I my wallet so I always can run into Mexico without stopping at home first.
