Jakarta indeed seems to have all my heart would desire. I do have ONE BIG concern tho and want to ask.

WG you guys find on Bats, Cj`s and etc. Now I got impression these girls come from very poor / uneducated background. For me good level of communication is very important, I don't say I need to have conversation with the girls about European economic crisis.

I've been here since early July, hit Blok M some nights, other places other nights. I have to say third floor of the Classic Hotel has a club Terminal 21 that is awesome. I was there on weekday nights, I saw no fewer than 75 girls all ready to go, Two at a time for 400, 000 which is 40. 00 USD. All were cute young and hot.

Indeed, no bar fines in Blok M. All girls are independant entrepreneurs. The only additional cost (if the girl performed satisfactory) is to give her 50 000 rups ($5-) extra for a taxi home as a courtesy. On the way to your hotel: do not take the taxi's in Jl Palatehan but ask at the bar of D's Place or Top Gun to call for a Blue Bird taxi. Or walk out of the street (against the traffic) and turn right. There are generally some Blue Birds and Silver Birds waiting.

Jl Palatehan is very safe, but to go to your hotel after midnight I strongly advise to take a cab. Price to central Jakarta hotels: between 20 000 and 40 000 rups by Blue Bird and 200 000 to 400 000 if you take a non metered cab waiting outside the bars. Moreover you have to pay the parking guy in Palatehan 2 000 rups so keep some small money ready and remember, if you have a white skin, taxidrivers never can change large bills and you better have some smaller bills in your pocket.

Pretty sure that is true. I was told it will be renovated into a nicer "hotel." As to what that means I have no idea. It could be normal hotel. Or it could continue as a brothel.

Speaking of Hotels, the owner of Top Gun is constructing a hotel on the corner where Oscar's used to be on Paletahan. Or so he tells me. I have noticed a building rising there so time will shortly tell.

And on the Immigration hassle front, a couple of guys have mentioned a particular younger officer on the immigration counter after VOA whom does all he can to thwart admission. Asking for proof of money, air ticket back out etc.

Try Jl Palatahan in Blok M. A string of bars with many girls, that are willing to stay the night (or even longer) with you in your hotel and start with Ds Place or with Top Gun. Just tell them straight away that you are not in for short time. Come to good agreements about price and duration, pay in the morning, because otherwise some familymember might get ill during the night (500 to 700 K for LT until breakfast after some negotiations is fine)

Every year, when Maribaya closes for Ramadan, a few girls take rooms in Melawai and operate from there. I normally went to Maribaya on the last day and connected with those girls who tend to rent rooms and take their HP numbers and give them mine. They would then sms me the room numbers. It was mongering as usual for me in Maribaya even during the holidays. But, this time, unfortunately, I have had to be away from Jakarta for a longer time on account of being deputed to some God forsaken country for the past 4 months. Just landed today. Indeed prices are high on all airlines around that date. Take the metro from Changi airport and then the ferry to Batam and use Lion Air to fly to Jakarta for around 1mil IDR, s on same day.

Or stay overnight at Batam for a lower rate on the next day. About 600k. Use that difference to hire an overnight gal at Batam. Believe me it's very easy and straight forward to get to Batam. You'll need about 2, 5 to 3 hrs from the airport.

Forget DIA girls for such a short time and stick to Hotel Travel and Hotel Classic 3rd floor up the mechanical escalator (not ground floor) for afternoon delights. They used to have a promo for a 3some around 400k at Classic.

Use the other venues described here for the evening / night activities. Do not expect to find the woman of your life in only 2 days. Simply enjoy cheap and easy sex.

I am planning a trip to Jakarta from SIN (where I have a 2. 5 days stopover) enroute my final destination.

With reading pages from Jakarta & Batam threads, I am up with some questions.

1) Tickets from SIN to CGK on Aug 26th (Sunday) are very expensive (300-400 USD) , any suggestions?

2) I read at places (forgot whether it was Batam or Jakarta thread) that one can get 24 hour LT gals. Can someone re-point me to that info / places where I can do so, pref. In Jakarta?

3) Been talking to a couple gals from Jakarta who work in their daytime but would love to F* around in off hours, do you think it would be safe to indulge with any such ones found on DIA? In particular, getting them to my hotel room, etc?

4) Do you guys have your favorite places in Jakarta where you have had the highest GFE-hit ratio?

Yes. You are obviously right. Please do not venture out into Jakarta. Its not a place to be in. Getting girls is very difficult. And hunting for mongering places is an ardous task. You may not get any girl. Suggest Pattaya is better off. Jakarta is not a friendly place and the people are not friendly. Neither are the girls. Nor are their any bars or pubs.

.friday evening: started off at top gun in block m. decent band and quite some *lookers around. but many of them had hilarious price expectations: was quoted idr 1. 5mn for s / t. after some beers over the street to d's p. which is a very interesting venue. front part is a sportsbar with various activities, in the back part a separate room caters to more intimate activities starting at idr 100k; an experience not to be missed, highly recommended *.................to some earlier mails on indonesia hassels: i have been to indonesia countless times, never had any really noteworthy negative experience; but hey this is southeast asia and at the end of the day you never know. if you can't take it, simply stay home and leave the beauties to those who like this place.

Immigration hassled every westerner on my plane, other westerners next to me even pointed out to me how much trouble it was, one guy was held up for over 20 minutes and had to make a cellphone call to get through, for me the pen I used wasnt blue enough and I had to write out the card again and of course I was grilled with stupid questions. I suggest you travel a bit more around asia and see how hassle free other countrys are.

Recently spent a weekend in Jakarta. Must say that despite Ramadan this place does allow for a fantastic mongering weekend:

Friday evening: started off at Top Gun in Block M. Decent band and quite some *lookers around. But many of them had hilarious price expectations: was quoted IDR 1. 5mn for s / t. After some beers over the street to D's P. Which is a very interesting venue. Front part is a Sportsbar with various activities, in the back part a separate room caters to more intimate activities starting at IDR 100k; an experience not to be missed, highly recommended *. (PM me is further details are needed). A few attractive girls next to some more average looking ones. After experiencing some good services time to bid farewell and move down the road to MyBar, which get's active post 12 am (during Ramadan closes at 1:30am). The quality of girls was similar to Top Gun, but (possibly also later hour) the price level in a different league and all seemed to be more friendly, more in a party mode. Also good band, had a great time and s / t take out ended up being only IDR 500k all in. Very enjoyable time with a stunner, who knew how to perform.

Saturday: Evening activities started at Hotel Classic, again a *very interesting *venue. Forget what is on Floor 1 (said to be a total rip-off) , Floor 3 (if I remember correctly) is what you are looking. A huge hall with an un-imaginable selection of beauties (and some less so, but all in the 20. 30yr range I wld guess). Very pushy Mama-sans, but they do get the message if you want to go slower on the selection process. Quality is great. Maybe my friend and I simply got*very lucky. And prices very reasonable at below IDR 300 (incl. Room and protective gear). Had a great looking 20 yr old, excellent GFE experience (cannot forget her cfm look at me while she was blowing me.) with the works in a modern decent room with shower. Very well spent IDR's, this was real value for money. Rest of the evening again in Top Gun, which was a bit disappointing as the ratio of below average ladies was far too high compared to other venues and those who did have the looks behaved like bitches. Which they probably are. Finished off again at MyBar with a s / t take out with a friend of the previous night's babe, who again did know the art of performance.

Jakarta during Ramadan might be slightly slower and bars might be closing a bit earlier than normal, but this activity beats many other places anytime of the year. Always provided you are into the Indonesian / Malay looking type gals.

To some earlier mails on Indonesia hassels. I have been to Indonesia countless times, never had any really noteworthy negative experience; but hey this is Southeast Asia and at the end of the day you never know. If you can't take it, simply stay home and leave the beauties to those who like this place.

Jakartas extremely dangerous, hotels are not value for money, immigration staff at airport hassle western travellers, I've been to jakarta once and couldn't stomach the place and left after 3 days, but can easily handle Thailand no pompem!

Are you serious? Take a look at Crime News Pattaya. As a westerner I feel that Jakarta is a very safe and friendly place if comparing to P.
