Making my first trip to Medellin and was wondering if there is any freelance bars similar to the Help Disco in Rio de Janiero, or LDV in Cartagena, where my friend and I went last year. Cartagena was a nice place, but way to expense for our tastes, and after hearing so much about Medellin, we decided to come and check it out since it seems like a great place, and it will not break our bank. We have rented an apartment from someone who also posts here on the board, so the La Cueva bar is out.

Someone might have posted info on this topic 100 pages ago, but with the way this forum is setup who knows. Please comment if you have something to add regarding this serious topic.

Damn, that thought never occurred to me. Sure could have been, but that part was straightened out before anything.
