By now, LE would have been done with checking of registers of all hotels. And they would now have a list of all hotels who regularly rent rooms on ST basis. It might also be that LE were/are aware of all such hotels at all times. May be star hotels are relatively safe, but there have been sufficient reports of busts in star hotels also.

IMHO, the hotels written by you would be safer, because they have probably established proper LE connections for conducting their business.
