Will do just that, exercise of discretion is very important not to offend the girls with or without dates.
Plan to bring a date to enjoy the event and absorb the ambience of the Celebration instead of being Distracted by hunting activities. LOL

it used to be the case that countries wanted to keep tabs on currency movements across borders. with electronic transfers this is no longer the issue. instead, they want to know about money laundering and repatriation of drug money or profits from criminal activities.
but funman is right about the penalties. there are some famous filipinos who hid cash in their luggage when going to the states and now find that they are out on bail in the states awaiting trial (and the authorities are holding onto their passports)

Has any one been to;
Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan (Music and Dancing in the Streets) which started in 1992, is an annual all-night party along MacArthur Highway, Balibago, held on the last Friday & Saturday of October. Restaurants & bars set-up tables & chairs along the streets, and serves over-flowing food and drinks. It features non-stop music from amateur and national bands and is attended by celebrities, out-of-towners and locals alike. This event is used to celebrate the Oktoberfest. Comments and information would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

almost all countries have some form of currency regulations. many like the usa allow you to take as much as you want but if it is more than $10k (in usa) then you have to declare. these countries just want to keep tabs on money going in and out of the country. the penalty is very severe, not just the confirep001ion of the money. there may be a big fine and even prison time. in any event, in the age of computers, you will be blacklisted for ever, so every time you enter or leave the country, you will be searched. a friend of mine has this problem with canada. by the way, travelers checks are currency.
so, bottom line, it's not worth it. use atms. that's what they are for.

Never never! Report currency. (I have never never been asked) I have been visiting the Philippines over the past 25 years and never had a problem with any currency be it pesos or hk dollars, RMB (China) or us dollars.
Others may do it differently but I bring, in most cases, $1000 USD = one hundred dollar notes glued to my chest (joke). I also have american express card and atm card hidden up my butt (kind of a joke). Also good idea to have photo copy of your passport I'd page. Anyway. Put the money passport and atm card in the hotel safety deposit and just carry the cash you need. Even my drivers license is left in the hotel.
Don't wear a watch over $20 bucks. No expensive rings or necklaces.
To save time and money. Find one good hotel in your arriving / departing city. I have done this in malate. So I leave my suitcase in storage and just take a carry on when I head for cebu or where ever = cebu pacific gives airfare discount if only have carry on. Sometimes I plan to go to Thailand / China and not need to carry everything in Philippines.

1) having the option of seeing better looking girls everytime one passes by is NOT a bad thing. Only cost another LD to continue with the new girl. Even if you had BF one at the bar and see a prettier one later, just tell the mama and she will give you the one you really want so nothing wasted.
2) From your above story, won't consider it a "flop" or waste as she told you honestly what to expect from her and you took her anyway so it was an informed decision (your choice). Better than her lying to you about everything and nothing worked out-then thats what I call a flop.
3) Which BJ bar did you visit as most are open 24/7. Maybe closed for a few hrs due to no customers?
4) So true, if there was more to do other than mongering and if the food was better with more use of spices and variety like in LOS then AC will be a true paradise
5) Not really, there are many bars that don't have drink pressures. Also a firm "I just want to enjoy my drink and I'll order when I'm ready will work", if not then theres another 99+ bars you could go to instead.
6) Again not always true. Many easy and good folks at the bars that will be more than happy to talk to you. I talk to strangers at bars all the time (despite what my mother had told me). I'll join you on the next bar run.
Cheers

Most girls call it having to go to the "Clinic", its the mandatory STD testing they have to pass every week, But experienced mongers will tell you most testing are BS.
