I went to Apo (Apu?) market, just for something to do. Its about 10 minutes from the McDonalds at end of Fields in a trike. All sorts of interesting market things to see and buy, DVDs are ok, I got some DC shoes too. As someone else mentioned there are girls there who look interested, but I think its just because I am not Filipino, didn't get any offers! I did think about a day trip to Subic bay too but didn t quite get round to it. Maybe next time! Enjoy!

The little street Kokomos is on, down towards the Pacific Breeze. Sorry I don't have the street name. When walking always too busy surveying the pussy to look at street signs. Can't miss it the restaurant is a big one.

Corner of A. Santos St and Vian St; right in front of Pacific Breeze. Open air resto / bar that also welcomes "unescorted ladies". I too concur about the food there being pretty good, but didn't try any seafood; only some grilled / BBQ pork and chicken.

I also liked the restaurant, Cuba Cuba for its grilled meats and seafood. Sit at the bar facing the street and watch the street kids play w / each other and beg when a sucker comes along. I enjoyed watching the bigger girls (2) play fighting the smaller boys and winning (for now) , their rough housing was almost real. After my dinner at Cuba Cuba I gave the 2 girls (maybe 8 and 12 yrs. Old) 50p each. They didn't ask, I just went up to them and gave it to them. I liked that restaurant and the action on the street. Part of the reason price is going up in Thailand is that the main mongering spots (Bangkok and Pattaya) are becoming more and more modern. Places where you can do things like pay for a meal with a credit card (welcome to the 1980's!).

The Philippines is similar to say one of the Central American banana republics. Thailand is similar to say South Korea in the late 1970's.

Just a gut feeling because you see scary guns in AC that scare you? Or have you actually researched this with solid reasons to back up your statement? If you are so worried about robbery in AC, maybe duct tape your ATM card to a nipple inside your shirt & keep your cash in your undies next to Mr Johnson. That's what I'm going to do.

White westerners can and do walk around all parts of Pattaya at all times of the day and night without a problem. It's also a family tourist destination with temples, beaches, several markets and shopping malls, street vendors that serve foreigners and locals alike, etc.

Angeles City is a smokey dirty shithole with raw sewage flowing in the streets, aggressive child and elderly beggars by the dozen, and drugged up teenagers who apparently like to rob unsuspecting middle age white guys who don't know how to carry their shit (according to posts in this thread). Two sub-par malls (where patrons get patted down and searched on the way in. Never saw that in Thailand, wonder why?) , no culture, terrible food, no real recreation outside of fucking.

Couldn't care less about the guns. I'm from America guy. Plenty of Thai people (with money) carry guns too anyway.

I've never had a problem in either place, and I actually like Filipina girls more, but the two aren't even comparable in terms of safety.

Not to mention that Thailand is much richer than the Philippines.

Sure it has 1/4 the homicide rate of Washington DC, but let's not kid ourselves about the condition of AC. It is what it is.

Just got back from 2 weeks in PI. Spent 7 days in AC and my favorite bars this trip were Roadies, Genesis, Dollhouse. I thought the talent level overall in AC was similar to past trips, mostly 6's w / a few 7's that would only go w / Ks. The 8's and 9's are not in AC imo. The best AC has to offer the monger is not close to the best Cebu has. The only problem is the Cebu hotties won't go w / too many westerners.

Back to AC, I enjoyed the ladies at Roadies the most. Every trip I find a new bar has the best talent, this time it was Roadies. Some real nice stuff in there. Dollhouse of course has some pretty ladies but most of the elite girls will only drink w / you. I also hooked up w / a few on their days off at a reduced price for pool and bed fun, very satisfying.

Stayed at Sunset Gardens the first 4 days and then at the Pacific Breeze the last 4 days. I enjoyed PB 10 times more because of the staff and convenience of being in the middle of the Fields St. Action. I enjoyed a couple of BJ bars for the first time and had nice fresh action there in the late morning, you pick, pay, and whip it out. Now you're ready for a new day that is more likely to be excellent. I also liked the restaurant, Cuba Cuba for its grilled meats and seafood. I've just returned from a 9 day trip to the Philippines. I stayed 4 nights in Angeles City and the rest in Manila (Ermita). This was my second visit to AC.

In AC, I spent most of my time doing the following:

A) Hanging out in my fancy schmancy hotel room at ABC Hotel with a girl. They have 5, Count 'them 5, Porn channels. I guess the rooms are sound proof to some degree because I was cranking Metallica and 50 Cent and no one complained. Please see my hotel review in the Angeles City Hotels thread.

B) Hanging out at Phillies at the corner of Raymond and Fields. I like to hang out and shoot the shit with other westerners. Love to watch people walking up and down Fields at all hours of the night. My last night there, they had this really, really good band that played till about 3 AM. Took 2 Freelancers from Phillies. 700 pesos each.

C) Hanging out in a Gogo Bar. I took the most girls from AngelWitch and Ponytails. I stayed out of the larger showbars.

D) I did take a little cutie pie from one of the Short time bars on Raymond St. My recollection is that BF was 700 pesos, and SML was 65 I think. A bargain. The girls there not stunners, but "cuties".

E) Went to High Society one night. High Society is a disco that is noted as a FL locale. There was a 100 peso cover charge. It was a much younger crowd there.

1. Are there barber shop in Angels like in BKK where you can get manicure / pedicure / facial / foot massage etc?

2. I seem to have noticed some mongers getting a massage organised in their hotel rooms. Is there any particular service which is recommended and what are the costs like?

3. Which are the current recommendations in Santos blow row and are most of the girls in these bars cherry girls or do they provide full service?

I plan to visit in April first week and hope to meet some of the Mongers there at that time. A comparison of BKK? Pattaya / Angeles will be reported on after my visit.

1. There are many barber shops. Hair cut, coloring, manicure, pedicure, foot spa etc are performed. Cheaper than Thailand.

2. There are many massage plces. It is legit massage in their place. If you need in room massage it can be arranged. In room massage can include sex by negotiation.

300 pesos for massage in their shop any in room is around 700 pesos. If you want sex negotiate with the girl.

3. There are many bars in santos st. Sometimes there are cherry girls but will do BBBJ. Best thing is to go and check out and see which girl you fancy.

Usually there is no need for a wingman in AC.

I like to pop one at one of the blow row bars or go up Perimeter Road. For a nice ST romp, then get a massage to get ready for the evenings festivities! Just saying, why choose when you can do both!
