I was in Bucharest for business and decided to visit a couple of stripclubs. I stayed in the Intercontinental hotel and there are a couple clubs very close to it.

I didn't really get replies to my question, except for one, and didn't find it very useful. But I'm sure a lot of you guys just browse this forum and don't write. But I'm going to share my experience because from what I read, lots of you got scammed in one way or another.

So here it goes. I got to the airport and it went smoothly, the taxi desk is just on the right when you exit from the luggage area. There was a queue but I didn't have to wait very long before calling a taxi. They gave me this piece of paper where I had to write the company and number of the taxi and then just went outside and when the taxi arrived I gave the piece of paper to the driver. There were some other people there (scammers I guess) asking me. Hey mister, do you need a taxi? So watch out for them. My taxi was fine, the meter running and everything. I paid about 35 lei for the ride. I think that's like less than 10 euros.

Same evening I decided to book Louise. I called her at about 5pm and said she could come to my hotel at 7, so I said fine. Seems like I made a good choice in the end, she's a very nice person, very talkative, great smile and looks like in the photos. I won't go into more intimate details, but I could tell she liked what she was doing and I asked her to stay one extra hour (so, good service).

Some other things about Bucharest:

- the food is very good.

-be sure to visit Ceausescu's palace.

- nice parks, I really liked Herrastraul (it's in the north)

- watch out for pickpockets when you are in a crowded place

- very nice and clean subway.

- friendly people, most of them speak some English

Yes be very careful of the taxis waiting in line at the exit. They WILL rip you off, asking 10 times the normal rate with a falsified counter (even if you agree on a price they will double it on arrival). If you refuse to pay, they get violent or drop you off in the middle of nowhere. If you intend on not paying them, you'd better have a gun and be ready to use it.

Paying before is something not usually asked in Romania. Don't do it.

There's plenty girls to be had in Bucharest so there's no need to prepare so much in advance. Just get some numbers and when you get to Romania buy a local SIM and try your luck by calling all those numbers.
